Description
The present invention relates to a radiator for space heating, powered by hot water and, by therefore, of irremovable type.
We know the fact that the devices for the space heating, such as radiators conventional people who eat with hot water at from the corresponding generator, tend to to work for some time and for reasons energy saving, with water temperatures of lower and lower, which leads to a power equal heat emitted by the radiator, this one must to have larger dimensions, as a consequence of the necessarily larger area of exchange.
It is for this reason that the difficulties that include radiators in furniture distribution premises increase by occupying a wall surface not available for other purposes. This, which is true for newly constructed buildings, may have a particularly problematic result when it comes to provide premises or dwellings already inhabited with a radiator heating system powered by the water.
In addition, the radiators present usually visible surfaces with access difficult, which, together with being generally installed keeping some separation from on the wall, makes it difficult to clean or paint the radiator in question or the wall part existing behind this one. In executions of some manufacturers, it is planned to be able to possible, this circumstance by the fact that the radiator can switch from its installation position to access the part of the wall behind it, although for this purpose it is necessary to complicate noticeably the hydraulic connection of the radiator.
In addition to the radiator itself, the valves which are annexed to it and which make it possible its emitted power, as well as the adjacent ducts of this or these valves make it difficult again cleaning operations mentioned earlier.
On the other hand, saving energy in this type facilities is favored when they have a low thermal inertia, which is synonymous with a low water content in the installation in general and in radiators in particular. It turns out interesting to minimize the water capacity of radiators.
It should also be noted that there is radiators typically composed by many elements or parts joined together by various methods, usually by welds, unions with flat gasket or bonded unions. This large number of unions implies a high risk of leakage, which requires verification absolute tightness of the radiator during the process of manufacture, with the consequent rejection, not negligible according to what process, which sometimes leads, despite the previous verification, the appearance of leaks when the radiator has already been installed. DE 295 04 520 shows an example of such a radiator.
The purpose of the radiator of the present invention is to solve the disadvantages that the devices known in the art, in proportioning a plurality of advantages which are described below.
The radiator of the present invention is of the type those which include an external carcass, means for conduction of a heating fluid and a plurality of fins for increasing the area of heat exchange, and it is characterized in that said carcass, said conduction means and said fins are of one piece, the means of conduction heating fluid being a single rectilinear conduit arranged in a substantially vertical direction, the radiator including a lower pan, which covers all the basketry and the conduits in their connection with it.
Thanks to these characteristics, the radiator the invention occupies a reduced space of having a shallow width and depth with, in counterpart, a considerable height to dispose of the heat exchange surface needed, even in working with reduced fluid temperatures heater. In this way, it is easier to install this type of radiators in housing or premises already inhabited, without interfering in any way with the location of the furniture that was there before. In addition, because the radiator has a pan lower, the radiator adjustment valves and the supply ducts of it remain hidden, in giving the radiator a more uniform appearance in together and without additional visible elements.
On the other hand, the low water capacity of the duct rectilinear, with respect to the heat exchange surface of the radiator, gives rise to the fact that the thermal inertia of it is very small, which favors the economy of energy in installations with this type of radiator.
According to one characteristic of the invention, the radiator can be completely backed to a wall or to the confluence of two walls when installed, avoiding in all cases that wall surfaces accessible to the view and in which dirt can accumulate create, as these areas are difficult to access for their cleaning, as it is with radiators conventional.
Preferably the fins are distributed all along the radiator, united by one side to the carcass and on the other side to the rectilinear conduit.
Preferably also, the radiator the invention comprises fins which are united to fins, which in turn are joined to the carcass and rectilinear conduit. Either that way or by means of fins which are united only to the carcass, in keeping the same external geometry, we can obtain a range of radiators in which the thermal power issued by them is different depending on the quantity of fins that each type of radiator includes, in thus being able to choose the most suitable model for to meet the thermal needs of the locality intended for the radiator.
Advantageously, the outer section of the radiator of the invention can be circular, elliptical or polygonal or be just a circular sector or elliptical or be triangular.
Thanks to these characteristics, the radiator the invention can be adapted to any wall, corner or central area of the room in which it must be installed.
In an equally advantageous way, the conduit vertical internally comprises a second conduit independent interior for the conduction of the fluid heater. In this way, the hydraulic circuit of the radiator can be formed by, only, a pair of ducts arranged one inside the other. The fluid of heating that enters the radiator through the duct inside, comes out of it by the outer conduit or vice versa, the inlet and outlet of said fluid of heating taking place by the lower part of radiator, where is situated the corresponding valve of setting.
It should be noted the particular importance of this type of construction compared to other types of radiators, since it allows, by means of a adequate purge device located in the part upper rectilinear duct, to eliminate the totality air that could accumulate inside the radiator and thus avoid noises or circulations defective heating fluid caused by the presence undesirable of the air mentioned.
Preferably, the radiator of the invention is made with extruded aluminum.
Thanks to these characteristics, said radiator presents countless advantages over conventional radiators, as well with regard to its constructive ease as far as the versatility of its dimensions. That is, the radiator of the invention can be manufactured with a plurality of pre-established heights and, when this is necessary, it can be made with a height concrete, based on specific requirements.
Advantageously, said radiator is, externally, substantially smooth. In this way, he is easier to clean and maintain. Because of present neither hollows nor recesses, its cleaning is a task which presents no difficulty and with regard to the maintenance, when painting the outer surface of the radiator, since it is a surface in sight, completely smooth, it presents no difficulty more.
