Abstract

Sowohl die feste Ballastschicht (22) als auch die als Schüttung ausgebildeten Ballastschichten (23, 24) enthalten Elektroofenschlacke bzw. bestehen ganz oder teilweise hieraus. Da zur Herstellung dieser Wannenkonstruktion weitgehend Arbeitstechniken des Erdbaus eingesetzt werden können, führt dies zu kürzeren Herstellungszeiten und reduziert die Kosten für Baugrubensicherung und Wasserhaltung. Da Elektroofenschlacken eine höhere Einbaudichte als mineralische Materialien besitzen, lassen sich die für die Ballastierung erforderlichen Aushubmengen reduzieren.
