Description d'un mode de réalisation préférentielDescription of a preferred embodiment

With reference to FIGS. 1 to 6, an auxiliary signaling module 10 is housed in an insulating housing 12 intended to be attached to and coupled to an electric switchgear, in particular a circuit breaker or a low-voltage differential switch. The housing 12 contains two electrical switches 14, 16 actuated by a control mechanism 18, which is controlled by mechanical triggering and resetting links of the electrical equipment.

Each switch 14, 16 is provided with a moving contact 20, 22 inverter formed by a flexible metal blade cooperating with a pair of fixed contacts 24, 26; 28, 30 isolated from each other. The first switch 14 on the right permanently indicates a signaling OF of the open-closed state of the switchgear contacts, while the second switch 16 on the left indicates either an open signaling OF -closed, or a signaling signal fault signaling. depending on the position of a rotary selector 32.

The fixed contacts 24, 26 and the movable contact 20 of the first switch 14 are electrically connected to connection terminals 34, 36, 38 housed in cells of the right-hand lateral face of the housing 12. The fixed contacts 28, 30 and the movable contact 22 of the second switch 16 are electrically connected to connection terminals 40, 42, 44 housed in cavities of the left lateral face of the housing 12.

L'extrémité du levier de signalisation 58 comprend à cet effet un voyant 60 bistable visible depuis la face avant 62 du boîtier 12.The auxiliary signaling module 10 is provided with a lever 46 pivotally mounted on an axis 48, and connected to the hook hook of the mechanism 18 by a transmission rod 50. The mechanism 18 comprises a plate 52 rotatable between two extreme positions which permanently indicates the open-closed state of the circuit breaker contacts, and a trip bar 54 intended to receive a trip command from the circuit breaker. On the pivot 56 of the plate 52 is rotatably mounted a signaling lever 58 fault signal SD which continuously indicates the armed-tripped state of the circuit breaker. The end of the signaling lever 58 comprises for this purpose a bistable light 60 visible from the front face 62 of the housing 12.

Le contact mobile 20 du premier commutateur 14 est actionné par la platine 52, tandis que le contact mobile 22 du deuxième commutateur 16 est entraîné par un levier intermédiaire monté à pivotement sur un axe 64.The movable contact 20 of the first switch 14 is actuated by the plate 52, while the movable contact 22 of the second switch 16 is driven by an intermediate lever pivotally mounted on an axis 64.

The selector 32 has two stable positions of adjustment, and is accessible from the large right side of the housing 12 constituting the face of joining with the circuit breaker. The setting of the selector 32 is operated manually by means of a screwdriver, and allows the user to choose between two modes of operation of the auxiliary signaling module 10, namely a first mode OF-OF, and a second mode SD-OF. The choice of operating mode occurs before coupling with the circuit breaker. Switching becomes impossible when the auxiliary signaling module 10 is joined and coupled to the circuit breaker, because the selector 32 is no longer accessible.

Le changement de position du sélecteur 32 provoque une modification du positionnement de l'axe 64 du levier intermédiaire 72.Depending on the angular position of the selector 32, the intermediate lever 72 for driving the movable contact 22 of the second switch 16 bears on the plate 52 (FIGS. 1 to 3) or on the signal lever 58, the defect signal SD (FIGS. 6). The change of position of the selector 32 causes a modification of the positioning of the axis 64 of the intermediate lever 72.

In OF operation of the second switch 16, the intermediate lever 72 follows the plate 52. In SD operation of the second switch 16, the intermediate lever 72 is driven by the signal lever 58 fault signal SD.

Le levier de signalisation 58 signal défaut SD est alors en position armée (figures 1-2 et 4-5).A tension spring 68 is arranged between a fixed point 70 of the housing 12, and the signaling lever 58 fault signal SD. The spring 68 is in the tensioned state in case of non-tripping when the circuit breaker is in the closed position or opened by a manual action. The signaling lever 58 fault signal SD is then in the armed position (Figures 1-2 and 4-5).

Le ressort 68 revient dans l'état détendu en cas de déclenchement automatique du disjoncteur, et sollicite le levier de signalisation 58 signal défaut SD vers la position déclenchée (figures 3 et 6).The spring 68 returns to the relaxed state in case of automatic tripping of the circuit breaker, and requests the signaling lever 58 fault signal SD to the tripped position (FIGS. 3 and 6).

Fonctionnement en mode OF-OFOperation in OF-OF mode

Le réglage du mode de fonctionnement OF-OF est affiché en face avant 62 par l'indicateur de commutation 66.The operation of the auxiliary signaling module 10 in the OF-OF version is illustrated in FIGS. The selector 32 is set in a given position which positions the intermediate lever 72 bearing on the plate 52. The second switch 16 indicates as the first switch 14, the open-closed state OF of the circuit breaker. The setting of the OF-OF operating mode is displayed on the front panel 62 by the switching indicator 66.

In FIG. 1, the auxiliary signaling module 10 is in the closed position, and the two movable contacts 20, 22 are in engagement against the fixed contacts 24, 28, both mirroring the positioning of the plate 52 by indicating the state closed circuit breaker. The signaling lever 58 fault signal SD is in the armed position, and the spring 68 is in the tensioned state.

Le levier de signalisation 58 signal défaut SD reste immobile durant l'ouverture manuelle du disjoncteur, et n'a aucune influence sur le levier intermédiaire 72 étant donné que le contact mobile 22 suit exclusivement le déplacement de la platine 52.Figure 2 shows the manual opening phase of the circuit breaker, wherein the lever 46 of the auxiliary signaling module 10 pivots counterclockwise, driving the turntable 52 in the same direction. The two movable contacts 20, 22 are moved simultaneously by the plate 52 in the same direction, and come into engagement against the fixed contacts 26, 30 both indicating the open state of the circuit breaker. The signaling lever 58 SD fault signal remains stationary during the manual opening of the circuit breaker, and has no influence on the intermediate lever 72 since the movable contact 22 follows exclusively the displacement of the plate 52.

In case of tripping of the circuit breaker (FIG. 3), the trip bar 54 causes the plate 52 to be unlocked, which moves in the same position as that shown in FIG. 2, but more rapidly. The two movable contacts 20, 22 are moved simultaneously by the plate 52 in the same direction, and come into engagement against the fixed contacts 26, 30 both indicating the open state of the circuit breaker. The signaling lever 58 fault signal SD is biased by the spring 68 towards the triggered position so as to indicate the opening mode of the circuit breaker by tripping.

The two switches 14, 16 operate in open-closed mode OF, and the intermediate lever 72 follows the plate 52 and not signaling lever 58 SD fault signal. The latter is not blocked so far, because it indicates the tripping of the circuit breaker.

Fonctionnement en mode SD-OFOperation in SD-OF mode

The operation of the auxiliary signaling module 10 in the SD-OF version is illustrated in FIGS. 4-6. The selector 32 is switched by means of a screwdriver to the other position, which changes the location of the axis 64 of pivoting of the intermediate lever 72. The latter bears on the signal lever 58 SD fault signal and the setting of the SD-OF operating mode is displayed on the front panel 62 by the switching indicator 66 which pivots to the right. The first switch 14 controlled by the plate 52 always indicates the open-closed state OF of the circuit breaker, and the second switch 16 controlled by the signal lever 58 indicates the armed state-triggered SD of the circuit breaker.

In FIG. 4, the auxiliary signaling module 10 is in the closed position, and the movable contacts 20, 22 are in engagement against the fixed contacts 26, 28. The first switch 14 indicates the closed state of the contacts of the circuit breaker, and the second switch 16 indicates the armed state of the circuit breaker.

When a manual opening of the circuit breaker (Figure 5), the lever 46 of the auxiliary signaling module 10 pivots counterclockwise, driving the turntable 52 in the same direction. The movable contact 20 is actuated towards the fixed contact 26, and the first switch 14 signals the open state of the contacts of the circuit breaker. The signal lever 58 remains stationary in the armed position, and does not cause the intermediate lever 72 which remains in the same position as that of FIG. 4. The movable contact 22 remains in engagement against the fixed contact 28, and the second Switch 16 confirms the armed state of the circuit breaker.

In case of tripping of the circuit breaker (FIG. 6), the trip bar 54 causes the plate 52 to unlock, which moves in the same position as that shown in FIG. 5, but more rapidly than the joystick. The two movable contacts 20, 22 are moved simultaneously in the same direction against the fixed contacts 26, 30, one by the action of the plate 52, and the other by the intermediate lever 72 driven by the signal lever 58 The first switch 14 signals the open state of the circuit breaker contacts, and the second switch 16 signals the tripping of the circuit breaker following the passage of the signaling lever 58 towards the tripped position.

Il est aussi possible d'opérer directement le réarmement en déplaçant le voyant 60 de la position déclenchée (figure 6) vers la position armée (figure 4).From the position of FIG. 6, the rearming of the auxiliary signaling module 10 takes place during a manual closing of the circuit breaker which causes the plate 52 to move towards the position of FIG. 4. The rotation of the joystick 46 and the plate 52 in the direction of clockwise, drives the signal lever 58 in the same direction to the armed position. It is also possible to operate the resetting directly by moving the indicator 60 from the triggered position (FIG. 6) to the armed position (FIG. 4).
