Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for meterable dilution according to the Preamble of claim 1.
- processes of this type are used to make paper to be able to influence the operation of the headbox in a targeted manner.
- Dilution water is only allowed to a very limited extent fibers or other solids included, because otherwise the relatively sensitive dosing devices malfunctions would occur.
- the invention is therefore based on the object of providing a method with which particularly economical way to use the dilution water for the specified purpose Can be made available.
- the method according to the invention offers a very economical solution Provision of the required dilution water.
- White water contains a certain amount of fibers, fillers and chemicals.
- Modern paper mills become at least a large part of that on the paper machine resulting white water clarified and in as clear water at various points returned the production cycle.
- White water is advantageously clarified in disc filters.
- Such Devices are known for a variety of applications.
- a suitable filter aid formed a filter cake, which is suitable in Retain solids contained in white water. So a filtering process is one To distinguish between screening processes, in the initial area of a disc filter, So where a filter cake has not been able to build up yet, is the proportion of Fibers and fines in the filtrate are still relatively high. This so-called cloudy filtrate must therefore be returned to the filtration process to the clear water formed (Clear filtrate) not to deteriorate. This cloudy water is drawn off separately and The disc filter is operated as dilution water to the headbox significantly relieved without disadvantages.
- the pulp suspension S fed to the headbox 1 is in a mixing pump 8 formed by mixing the thick matter S0 with the first white water SW1.
- the type of suspension formation is common, but other methods are also conceivable.
- the second white water SW 2 is introduced into a filter device 4. It is here used for the filter device 4, a disc filter, which for the Implementation of the method is particularly suitable.
- the representation is pure schematic and should only show the functions that this disc filter fulfills, if they are important for the method according to the invention.
- a suspension housing 6 is a rotor with at least one rotating filter disk 10 is arranged.
- the Filter disc is in turn divided into a number of segments 5, which the Filter the absorbed filtrate.
- the filter area of these segments 5 usually consists of a mesh screen, which is immersed in the Suspension, here the second white water SW2, with fiber and other fine materials busy.
- a first filtrate the turbid filtrate TF
- the two filtrates i.e. the cloudy filtrate TF and the clear filtrate KF, to be able to discharge separately, is located in the middle of the Rotors a fixed control head 7.
