Definitions

  • the present invention relates to packaging with warranty inviolability for the packaging of food and non-food products, and solid, liquid, powder or pasty medical products such as dairy products, cold meats, meats, hardware, coffee, cookies.
  • the invention is also relating to the packaging manufacturing process with guarantee of inviolability.
  • Packaging for the packaging of food products, not food or medical products currently on the market are made up essentially a container and a cover, these two elements being assembled by sealing, once the food or medical product has been packaged, and after injecting a neutral gas to allow the conservation of said product for several months.
  • the different operations to constitute the packaging consist of make the container initially under rolls of film, to fill this container with product food or medical, cover the assembly with a seal, then seal the seal on the container.
  • the sealing of the lid on the container reveals a bead of weld constituting the connecting element of the container and the lid.
  • packaging is a sachet, this can be done either directly during product packaging, or previously prefabricated in industry then brought to the packaging machine where it is filled with product and then sealed then.
  • the first type of packaging has the main function of packaging the product. and allow its conservation for several months. Once the consumer opens the packaging to extract the food product, it must then consume completely the quantity of products packaged or else use preservative films to store the rest of the product in the refrigerator
  • the second type of packaging has the same function allowing keep the product for several months but, moreover, it allows you to use it several times the packaging after the first opening.
  • the cord solder detaches completely from the packaging on one of its releasing surfaces, then a adhesive layer which then makes it possible to close said packaging several times in the event that the user would like to consume the packaged product in several installments.
  • Patent application WO 97/19867 describes a packaging of this second type, which corresponds to preamble of claim 1.
  • a more dangerous disadvantage for the consumer is that the consumer may consume perishable food or medical products which may cause food poisoning. Indeed, used packaging no longer has preservative gas preventing the product from degrading.
  • the present invention aims to remedy all these drawbacks and one main goals is to make a packaging with a tamper-evident device to clearly visualize that the packaging has been opened, and thus avoid customers find used products on the shelves or buy consumed products, or even even out of date without anyone noticing.
  • the present invention by making the packaging inviolable, by the means described in claims 1 and 6, a the advantage of preventing its reclosing at a certain area where it is impossible to re-glue the weld bead.
  • the packaging retaining despite everything, with the exception of this zone, its reclosability properties thanks to the adhesive layer which is released at the weld bead.
  • Another advantage of the present invention is to show a color difference on the package when it has been opened, making it easier to visualization and the distinction between a consumable product and a used product.
  • Another advantage of the invention is to allow easy opening packaging by reducing the opening force exerted on said packaging in the area of the welding seam which is not re-stickable.
  • the packaging of the present invention allows the store staff to easily distinguish if food has been opened, and thus being able to remove them from the shelves before their purchase by customers, which avoids any complaints from customers and therefore any loss of awareness of the store.
  • the object of the invention is to make available to customers a packaging with a high conservation power during packaging, and which, once marketed in supermarkets, ensures that the customer has a quality food product, said customer as well as store staff being able to easily detect if the package has been opened or not by a person before purchase.
  • the present invention also refers to the method of manufacturing a sachet or tray type packaging with a guarantee of inviolability according to claim 1, making it possible to obtain a zone "Z1" where the weld bead peels and a zone "Z2" where the weld bead comes off, said process using a product packaging machine realizing the shapes of the packaging as well as sealing, the process being characterized by the fact that the welding tool is heated to a temperature T 1 , lower at a rupture temperature T r , on a first zone corresponding to zone "Z1" of the weld bead, and heating to a temperature T 2 , greater than a rupture temperature T r , on a second zone corresponding to the zone "Z2" of the weld bead, during the sealing of the seal on the container, the rupture temperature T r corresponding to the point of rupture making it possible to pass from an area where the weld bead peels at u no area where the weld bead comes off the container.
  • the present invention relates to a packaging (1) with device and warranty inviolability for the packaging of food, non-food or solid, liquid, powder, or pasty medical products such as dairy products, cold meats, meats, fish, confectionery, medicines, coffee, food for animals, sauces and hardware. It will find its application in particular in the packaging and packaging industries for food products, non-food or medical which will then be made available to consumers in supermarkets or pharmacies.
  • the invention is applicable to different forms of packaging (1) according to the type of products (19) to be packaged.
  • the packaging (1) can be of the tray type or of bag type.
  • the packaging is of the tray type for the packaging of products such as cheese, meats, fish, hardware, or medicines.
  • tray is composed of a thermoformable structure preformed or formed during packaging process, and a cover using a flexible structure or not, the cover being sealed on the thermoformable structure.
  • the packaging is of the bag type for the packaging of grated gruyère type products, coffee powder, cookies, candy, animal food, or sauces.
  • the first mode consists in forming the sachet directly on the packaging, then fill the product bag, then seal the packaging after have injected a preservative neutral gas.
  • the second method consists in first making the sachet having an opening in industry, then bring said sachet onto the packaging where it is filled with products (19) then sealed at the opening after have injected a preservative neutral gas into it.
  • the bag is made either from a single flexible structure folded on itself then sealed at its ends, either from two flexible structures sealed on each of its ends.
  • the packaging (1) presented in Figures 1, 2, 3 and 4 is made a container (2) composed by a structure "a” and a cover (3) constituted by a structure "b" can be identical to structure "a".
  • the lid (3) then covers the product contained in the container and then is sealed on said container, the sealing of the two elements then forming a bead of solder (4).
  • the packaging is a sachet type packaging used for pack grated gruyère type food or aperitif cookies
  • this packaging then uses either only a structure of type "a”, folded back on itself then sealed on each of its ends once the food product (19) is integrated into this one, that is to say two structures of type "a” sealed together on each end after filling with products (9).
  • the packaging (1) will present a structure "a” and "b” similar to that presented in FIGS. 1 and 2.
  • the container (2) presented in Figure 1 uses a structure "a” consisting of a support layer (5), a adhesive layer (6) with permanent effect and a sealing layer (7).
  • the cover (3) will have a layer-type structure "b” welded, but it may also have a structure similar to that of structure "a".
  • the support layer (5) is positioned outside on the container, and produced in a preferred but non-limiting mode in an amorphous polyester of a thickness can vary depending on the rigidity, resistance, or flexibility of the container that wish to get. It can also be made of materials such as PVC expanded or not, expanded or unexpanded polyprropylene, PET, amorphous, crystalline PETG or expanded, polystyrene expanded or not, polypropylene oriented or not, polyamide oriented or not, PET oriented or not, polyethylene oriented or not, high polyethylene barrier or peelable, polycarbonate polymer liquid crystal (LCP), printed film or neutral, mono or multilayer, rigid film, aluminum film, paper or any other combination of laminate of the above mentioned materials.
  • LCP polycarbonate polymer liquid crystal
  • the permanent effect adhesive layer (6) has an intermediate position located between the support layer (5) and the sealing layer (7) on the container. She is made using adhesive resin or any other synthetic material thermoplastic, and must have an almost permanent adhesive effect to present the bonding properties allowing the lid to be opened and closed several times during consumption of the product in several quantities. Its thickness will preferably be ten to twenty five micrometers to ensure the permanent effect bonding properties, and thus the reclosure of the lid on the container.
  • the welding layer (7), of structure "a” and the welding layer (3) of the structure “b” will preferably have an identical composition. They should have a good attitude to welding and fusion in order to accept variations of sufficiently high temperature and pressure.
  • These weldable layers (3) and (7) will preferably have, in a mode non-limiting execution, five layers (14, 15, 16, 17, 18) and (9, 10, 11, 12, 13) respectively, constituting a thickness of several tens of micrometers, the central layers (16) and (11) being constituted by a film which is a high barrier to oxygen and to gas allowing very good airtightness of the packaging produced.
  • These layers welding may be monolayer in the case of non-food products. Other, in the case of food or medical products, they must have at least three layers, the central layer being a high barrier film to oxygen and gas.
  • the sealing of the lid on the container creates a pocket (8) waterproof and oxygen or gas tight, this pocket being delimited by the welding layer (3) located on the cover, the welding layer (7) located on the container, and the weld bead (4) which is on the entire periphery of the package.
  • the tightness of the pocket is obtained thanks to the position of the high film barrier (11 and 16) to gas and oxygen positioned directly in the welding layer (3 and 7) structure "a” and structure "b". Indeed, during the welding operation, it appears at the adhesive layer of small chimneys in the radial direction of the tray which would allow oxygen to enter the pocket and escape the neutral gas preservative contained therein if the high barrier film was not positioned at this place directly in the welding layer.
  • the sealed pocket (8) correctly stores the neutral gas preservative inside without any penetration of oxygen in contact with the product (19), which ensures the qualities of the packaged food or medical product and therefore preserve and precisely determine the expiration date.
  • the weld bead (4) is formed by the fusion of the layer sealing of the seal with the welding layer of the container during the sealing of the two elements. This consists of two zones "Z1" and "Z2" appearing in Figure 3.
  • the zone "Z1" of the weld bead corresponds to a peeling zone of the cord while the "Z2" zone corresponds to a detachable zone.
  • area is meant peeling, the fact that the weld bead (4) separates into at least two parts 21 and 22 at the time of the first opening as shown in Figure 4, the first part 21 remaining attached to the cover and the second part 22 remaining attached to the container.
  • detachable zone means that the cord (4) of solder separates in its entirety from the container (2) and remains attached completely on the cover (3) at the time of the first opening, revealing the adhesive layer (6) permanent effect on the container.
  • the welding layer of at least one of the package structure has a layer, other than high oxygen barrier film and gas, the material of which provides either a peelable effect or a detachable, depending on the temperature at which the packaging is sealed.
  • This layer will, in the case of a package (1) of the tray type as illustrated in the present description, the layer (13) of the welding layer (7) or the layer (14) of the sealing layer of the cover (3).
  • Any type of material, having these peelability or sealability according to the sealing temperature, may be used, such as for example a blend of polyolefin such as polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), or copolymer ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) and some or all of the immiscible monomers, or polymers such as polybutylene (PB), ethylene acrylic acid copolymers, polyesters, modified polyesters or ethylene alpha-olefin copolymers.
  • PE polyethylene
  • PP polypropylene
  • EVA ethylene vinyl acetate
  • PB polybutylene
  • PB polybutylene
  • acrylic acid copolymers polyesters
  • polyesters modified polyesters or ethylene alpha-olefin copolymers
  • the material used for this layer (13) or (14) will be a mixture of polyethylene and polybutylene. Peelability bead in this zone "Z1" can also be obtained by coating with a varnish or a lacquer covering this area, this varnish or lacquer which can be deposited on the layer (13) or (14) in the zone corresponding to zone Z1.
  • the weld bead (4) peels and therefore separates into at least two parts 21 and 22 in the "Z1" area, and completely detaches from the container in the "Z2" area.
  • the permanent effect adhesive layer of the container is released only on the "Z2" zone, which therefore allows the packaging to be closed several times, to consume the food or medical product in several quantities, while preventing at the same time the complete reclosure of the cover at the level of the zone "Z1" which is not re-stickable since the adhesive layer is not released on this zone Z1.
  • This peelability zone Z1 also facilitates the opening of packaging. Indeed, in the case of a package that can be closed over the entire weld bead, the user must exert a significant effort to directly break the weld bead. This effort is amplified by the fact that the length "L1", at the level of the tongue (20) opening, to which the opening effort applies is important. Using a peelable weld bead, this opening effort is reduced since the bead peels in first on the length "L1" and is then broken only on the width "L” cord (4).
  • the area "Z1" of the weld bead is preferably small while the zone “Z2" covers the rest of the periphery of the package (1).
  • the "Z1" zone of the weld bead is in a preferred mode at the level of the opening tab (20) which allows easy opening of this one, and which is therefore the first place on the packaging where the seal will be released from the container.
  • the position of the zone "Z1" of the weld bead ensures detect in all cases whether the packaging has been opened or not.
  • the zone "Z1" of the weld bead extends, in a preferred mode and not limiting, about one centimeter on each side of the tongue.
  • the packaging (1) of the present invention is produced on a traditional packaging.
  • the structure "a" for the realization of the container arrives in the form of roll of plastic film, then unrolled and possibly thermoformed, then forming the container (2) of the packaging which is of the tray or tray type, or even a sachet.
  • This is then filled with the product (19) to be conditioned, after which it is covered by a cover (3) using a structure "b" also in the form of a roll.
  • the sealing of the seal on the packaging is made after injecting a neutral gas to preserve inside said package.
  • the sealing of the lid on the container then realizing the weld bead.
  • This sealing of the lid on the container is carried out by means of a welding tool more regularly called sealing bar.
  • the characteristics of the cord welds obtained depend on the welding time, the pressure of the welds, and the solder temperature. These characteristics being different according to the three parameters above choose.
  • the weld bead will have different properties depending on the temperature solder chosen.
  • the zones “Z1" and “Z2" of the weld bead are obtained by heating the two welding layers during the fusion, and this for a constant pressure and duration, the zone “Z1" of the weld bead at a temperature T 1 and zone “Z2" of the weld bead at a temperature T 2 .
  • the temperature T 1 making it possible to obtain the peeling properties of the weld bead and the temperature T 2 making it possible to obtain the detachable properties of the container thus releasing the adhesive layer.
  • the weld bead has peeling properties when the welding temperature is lower than a breaking temperature T r , and has properties of detachability of the container when the temperature of weld is greater than a rupture temperature T r .
  • the rupture temperature T r corresponding to the rupture point between the peelability zone and the area of detachment of the bead.
  • FIG. 6 shows for the preferred example illustrated in the present description, the resistance curves C 1 , C 2 , C 3 of the weld bead as a function of the temperature.
  • curve C 1 presents the adhesion curve of the detachable weld bead allowing reclosability
  • curve C 2 presents the rupture curve of the weld bead appearing in the zone 23 in FIG. 4
  • curve C 3 presents the peelability curve of the weld bead.
  • the curve C 2 is located under the curves C 1 and C 3 , which means that the peelability of the weld bead is less resistant than the rupture of the bead , and suddenly it will peel in several parts (21 and 22) when opening the packaging.
  • the weld bead of the packaging therefore comprising two zones “Z1" and “Z2" is produced, by heating the welding tool to a temperature T 1 lower than the rupture temperature T r on the tool zone corresponding to zone "Z1", and at the same time heating the welding tool to a welding temperature T 2 higher than the breaking temperature T r on the tool zone corresponding to the zone "Z2".
  • a welding tool could be used for this, having a temperature variation equal to the temperature difference between T 2 and T 1 , and making it possible to go from a temperature T 2 higher than the rupture temperature T r , to a temperature T 1 lower than the rupture temperature T r .
  • This temperature variation is obtained on the soldering tool using a plate or an adhesive tape having a thermal resistance which reduces the temperature from T 2 to T 1 and which makes it possible to obtain the desired temperature variation.
  • the plate or the adhesive tape will make it possible to obtain a variation of 10 to 20 ° C to ensure the temperature variation from T 2 to T 1 by passing the threshold of the rupture temperature T r .
  • This plate is positioned below the welding tool, under the zone corresponding to the zone "Z1" of the weld bead.
  • one or more teflon adhesive tapes which allow to obtain a decrease in temperature of about 15 ° C.
  • the sealing bar is heated to a temperature T 2 adjustment of 150 to 160 ° C located above the rupture temperature, which allows to obtain after passage through the teflon tape a temperature T 1 of the order of 130 to 135 ° C located below the rupture temperature. This is done at a welding pressure of 3 bars and for a duration of 1.8 to 3 seconds.
  • Another way to reduce the temperature on the welding tool in the zone corresponding to zone "Z1" consists in making cooling channels by air or by water in said welding tool zone. So we decrease the conductivity the material of the bar in the area concerned, which decreases the temperature relative to the non-perforated area corresponding to the "Z2" area.
  • a weld bead (4) is produced comprising two zones “Z1" and “Z2", the first allowing a peeling cord and the second a cord which detaches from the container, thereby releasing the adhesive layer (6) on this area.
  • This cord of welding obtained by creating a temperature difference on the welding tool by means of a plate having good thermal resistance properties, which keeps the cost of packaging almost identical to the packaging manufacturing process earlier.
