Claims (5)

  1. A cutting/scoring method for at least two rows (3, 4, 5) side by side of adjacent flat elements (3a-3n, 4a-4n, 5a-5n) in a material in strip form (1), of which at least one cutting edge or scoring line, transversely to said strip material (1), comprises segments (3'- 5') and extends from one edge of said strip material (1) to the other, consisting in passing said strip material (1) between two cutting/scoring cylinders (R1, R2) of a rotary cutting machine, characterised in that there is created along said cutting edge, respectively said scoring line, at least one offset (k) in the direction of transit of said strip material (1) between the said segments (3'- 5') of the two side by side elements (3a, 4a, 5a), so that said cutting edge or said scoring line respectively does not coincide with the generatrix of said cylinders (R1, R2); the two segments (3'- 5') are remaining parallel to one another but not aligned.
  2. A method according to claim 1, characterised in that the said segments (3'- 5') form an acute angle (α) with a perpendicular (P) to the direction of transit (2) of said strip material (1) between said cylinders (R1, R2).
  3. A method according to claim 2, characterised in that the two ends of said respective segments (3'- 5') are situated on two respective straight lines (P1, P2) perpendicular to the direction of transit (2) of said strip material (1).
  4. A method according to claim 1, characterised in that wastes (8) are created between at least a part of said adjacent segments (3'- 5') of two adjacent flat elements (3a-3b, 4a-4b, 5a-5b) of a same row (3, 4, 5).
  5. A device for performing the method according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that it comprises at least one cutting and/or scoring cylinder (R1), the cutting and/or scoring rules (F1, F2, F3), of which extending in the longitudinal direction of said cutting cylinder (R1) have at least one offset (k) with respect to the corresponding generatrix of said cutting cylinder (R1).
