Claims (9)

  1. Metal ammunition cartridge case for firearms at least partially coated internally with an anti-erosion auxiliary comprising powdered titanium oxide, characterized in that the anti-erosion auxiliary is a rigid sleeve consisting of a combustible matrix filled with titanium oxide, in that the concentration by weight of titanium oxide lies between 10% and 30% based on the total weight of the sleeve, and in that the combustible matrix comprises fibrous nitrocellulose, fibrous cellulose and an organic resin.
  2. Metal cartridge case according to claim 1, characterized in that the combustible matrix consists substantially of fibrous nitrocellulose, fibrous cellulose and organic resin.
  3. Metal cartridge case according to claim 1, characterized in that the weight ratio of resin/nitrocellulose + cellulose lies between 0.05 and 0.15 and in that the weight ratio of nitrocellulose/cellulose lies between 8 and 1/2.

  7. Metal cartridge case according to claim 1, characterized in that the sleeve consists of a stack of several sections.
  8. Ammunition for firearms comprising a metal cartridge case provided with a detonator and a projectile, and containing a combustible propellant charge, characterized in that the cartridge case is a cartridge case according to any one of claims 1 to 7.
  9. Anti-erosion auxiliary designed for internally coating a metal cartridge case of ammunition for firearms, characterized in that this auxiliary is a rigid sleeve consisting of a combustible matrix filled with titanium oxide, in that the concentration by weight of titanium oxide lies between 10% and 30% based on the total weight of the sleeve, and in that the combustible matrix comprises fibrous nitrocellulose, fibrous cellulose and an organic resin.
