Definitions

  • the invention relates to a multi-flow liquid ring pump according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • the impeller housing has a substantially circular cross section. On the cylindrical surface of the impeller housing are longitudinal radial protruding webs arranged, which delimit channels inside. Disadvantage of this The arrangement is that the maximum occupied by the housing of the liquid ring pump Storage space, that is, height times width, is significantly larger than that provided by the cylindrical jacket-shaped outer shape of the rest of the impeller housing would be required. About that In addition, dead spaces are formed by the protruding webs, in which dirt can accumulate. There is also a risk of handling the liquid ring pump get stuck in the above ridges.
  • Another liquid ring pump is known from EP 0 584106 B1. It is a multi-flow liquid ring pump with an impeller Pump enclosing impeller housing, on the two end faces of each Side shield is arranged.
  • the two side shields protrude from the impeller housing in the radial direction and each side plate points to the other side plate facing side in the area of the projection an inlet and an outlet on.
  • These openings are made by parallel to the impeller housing Connecting pipes connected to each other, one suction opening for each Supply line and a pressure opening for a discharge line is provided. In the two lower corners, further connection openings can be provided for one for the supply of operating fluid and / or for pressure compensation between the two pump halves.
  • These openings are also parallel to Pipes connected to the impeller housing.
  • a disadvantage of this construction is the space required for that arranged in the support arm Storage and on the other hand the increased assembly effort for attaching the Connecting pipes.
  • the multitude of protruding parts of the overall construction such as B. support arm and connecting pipes form nests for dirt accumulations, which are difficult to remove.
  • the object of the invention is to provide a generic liquid ring pump, the more compact and thus more space-saving compared to the known State of the art is built.
  • each side plate closes flush with the Outer surface of the impeller housing and the connection of the inlet and Outlet openings and the connection openings are made in the impeller housing arranged channels.
  • This arrangement has the advantage that there are no protruding ones There are parts that can form nests of dirt and therefore that Overall unit is also easier to clean.
  • Another advantage is that the There is no need to attach separate connecting pipes because they are more integral Are part of the impeller housing. For example, they can be used in manufacturing be cast in directly.
  • the side plates can be easily Push-through screws flanged to the respective end face of the impeller housing become.
  • the cross section of the impeller housing is almost square, the Side surfaces are slightly curved outwards and rounded in the side edge areas pass.
  • the connecting channels are in the gussets that between the almost square cross-section Impeller housing and the round work space result, the work space is almost in the middle of the impeller housing. Almost means that the work space either exactly the same axis or eccentric by a few millimeters Impeller housing is.
  • the working area axis is five millimeters in Towards the 12 o'clock position, eccentric to the axis of the impeller housing.
  • the incorporated cross-sectional geometry of the suction and pressure channels on top are made larger than the channels for operating fluid arranged below and dirt particles.
  • the advantage is that with this measure the cross sections the required volume flows and the resulting ones Flow rates can be adjusted.
  • connection openings below for the supply of Operating fluid provided.
  • the second connection opening is according to the invention as Dirt particle drainage channel is formed, which is radial to the work area extending connecting channels is provided. In this way it is achieved that entrained dirt particles in the work area by centrifugal force thrown out and due to the centrifugal force through the openings in the Working space wall pressed in the longitudinal duct become. At certain intervals, they can accumulate in the drainage channel Dirt particles are removed.
  • the compact design is both in both side plates Sealing and the bearing for the shaft of the impeller are integrated.
  • the seal is preferably in a seal housing and the bearing is in arranged in a separate storage housing Both housings are sealed screwed together.
  • the advantage of this arrangement is that the Unit d. H. Seal and bearing housing completely by pulling off the Rotor shaft can be removed
  • the rotor shaft is in this case on two in the integrated cam in each control disc. This makes it possible to replace worn shaft seals without removing the entire machine from the Dismantle the vehicle and completely disassemble it.
  • Figure 1 shows a perspective view of an invention trained multi-flow liquid ring pump 1. It consists of a Impeller housing 2 and two attached side plates 3, 4. That in this Front side plate 3 is the drive side with which the pump driving rotor shaft 5. The flush is clearly visible in this illustration End of the side plates 3, 4 with the outer contour of the impeller housing 2.
  • Each Side plate has recesses 6 on both side surfaces for receiving Push-through screws for fastening the side plates 3, 4 to the respective one End face of the impeller housing 2.
  • openings 7, 8 provided, in this embodiment the opening 7 on the left of the front side plate 3, the inlet opening for the suction side and Right opening 8 is the outlet opening for the pressure side.
  • the back Side plate 4 also has similar openings 9, 10.
  • each side plate 3, 4 in the lower area with at least one connection opening 12,14 provided, preferably for the connection of the operating fluid. But it can a further connection opening 11, 13 may also be provided, for. B. as a dirt particle drainage channel.
  • connection openings 9, 10 as well Connection openings 13, 14 of the rear side plate 4 cannot be seen.
  • FIG. 2 shows this in FIG. 1 front side plate 3 in the as-cast state As you can see, the Inlet and outlet openings 7, 8 cast in, while the ones below Port openings 11, 12 ( Figure 1) still have to be drilled.
  • the guides of the channels are in sections or partial sections selected side plate 3 shown here. Because of the double flow of the machine (see FIG. 8), on the one hand, the distribution of the or gas to be discharged into the chamber on the right in FIG. 8 and to others via the channels 15, 16 arranged in the impeller housing 2 into the channels in FIG. 8 left chamber. This applies to both the suction side 17 and the Print page 18.
  • Each side plate 3, 4 has a centrally located stepped bore 19 around which Seal and take up the bearing for the rotor shaft 5 (Figure 8).
