Abstract

The invention relates to a device for removing eyelets, especially special steel eyelets, on strips of plastic or fabric. Eyelets on strips of plastic or fabric, e.g. in lorry tarpaulins, become worn with use and generally have a service life that is considerably shorter than the strips of plastic or fabric. As a result it is both usual and economically feasible to replace the worn eyelets with new eyelets in order to take full advantage of the service life of the fabric or plastic strip.
