Description

The invention relates to a hydraulically operated peeling device according to the preamble of claim 1.

From the applicant's DE-C 26 21 249, a hydraulically operated accident rescue device with an expanding beak is known. Various tools can be used at the tips of the expanding beak, so that the accident rescue device can also be used to insert a manhole into an accident-damaged vehicle when using a clamping jaw and a peeling jaw, in order to enable the rescue teams to access the interior of the vehicle. The applicant's publication HR 411 65 / 3D / E5 "Lukas rescue systems" shows in the photo on the bottom right on the last page the use of a spreader with a clamping and peeling jaw as a peeling device for making a manhole. The clamping and peeling jaws are e.g. shown on page 3 of the brochure and its application on page 15, item 509/510. These rescue tools have proven themselves many times in practice.

It has been found to be disadvantageous that due to the kinematics of the spreader at the beginning of the peeling process (the closed arms of the spreader provided with clamping and peeling jaws are suspended in a small hole previously created separately, the cylinder is pressurized and while the jaw is standing if the arm with the peeling jaw peels off a sheet of metal from the vehicle wall when spreading open) the least amount of spreading force Is available, although it is precisely here that the highest force is required to tear the sheet. In addition, as the opening of the spreading arms increases, the clamping and peeling jaws move into it. peeling material. Finally, the spreading distance is limited, so that large and therefore heavy spreaders are required for large openings.

From US-A-37 62 688 a hydraulically operated rescue device is known in which a two-part peeling tip arranged on the piston rod and on the cylinder housing is axially displaceable. To make the first opening, the rescue device with the peeling tip is hammered into the wall to be opened in the manner of an ax. It is clear that only relatively thin sheets (up to a maximum of 1 mm) can be cut through.

It is therefore an object of the invention to provide a peeling device according to the preamble of claim 1, which enables the opening to be made with hydraulic force, the maximum force being available at the beginning of the peeling process, avoiding the clamping and peeling jaws from migrating in and builds the device easily despite large actuation distances.

This object is achieved by the combination of features mentioned in claim 1, so that with the peeling device the first opening can also be hydraulically supported. It can also penetrate larger sheet thicknesses. The peeling jaw can advantageously be arranged on a slide (claims 2, 3 and 4) or directly or via an extension on the piston rod (claims 5, 6 and 7). The slide, the peeling jaw or the cylinder base can have the mandrel-like attachment.

In Figure 1, the hydraulic cylinder is designated 1. In its basic structure, it corresponds to the known rescue cylinders, as shown on page 8 of the aforementioned publication by the applicant. The control valve 2 is located on the piston rod end of the hydraulic cylinder. The clamping jaw 4 is fastened to the cylinder base 3. Opposite is the peeling jaw 5, which is fastened on a slide 6, which is acted upon by the piston rod 7 and is axially displaceable.

The carriage 6 is guided on the housing of the hydraulic cylinder 1 and has yet another attachment point 8 'for the peeling jaw 5, as shown in Figure 2.

According to Figure 3, a mandrel 9 is arranged on the carriage 6 for pressing in the first opening. Another embodiment of a peeling device according to the invention is shown in FIGS. 4 and 5. The hydraulic cylinder 1 with the control valve 2 and the cylinder base 3 has a peeling jaw 5 attached directly to the piston rod 7. The clamping jaw 4 is fastened to the end of the cylinder housing on the piston rod side.

According to FIG. 6, a further clamping jaw 10 is arranged on the cylinder base 3, which is used for the second stroke. As a result, the actuation path of the peeling device can be almost doubled.

As can be seen from FIG. 7, an extension of the actuation path can also be achieved by using an extension 11 which is plugged onto the piston rod 7 during the second stroke.

In the embodiment according to FIG. 8, a mandrel 9 is attached to the cylinder base 3 and serves to press in the first opening.

The wall into which a manhole is to be made is designated by 12. Sheet thicknesses up to 7 mm can be peeled. In the first working step, the first opening 13 is made, for example by arranging the peeling device according to FIG. 8 with its mandrel 9 approximately perpendicular to the plane of the wall 12, the piston rod 7 being in contact supports an abutment (not shown). Now the hydraulic cylinder 1 is pressurized, the piston rod 7 extends and presses the mandrel 9 into the wall 12, whereby the first opening 13 is created. The mandrel or the piston rod is retracted again and the peeling device with the clamping jaw 4 and the peeling jaw 5 is suspended in the first opening 13. The hydraulic cylinder is now pressurized again, whereby the piston rod 7 extends with the peeling jaw 5 and peels the sheet metal strip 14 out of the wall 12 (FIG. 9). After the first stroke has ended, the piston rod is retracted again and the peeling device according to FIG. 6 with its further clamping jaw 10 is inserted into the first opening 13 and the slot that has already been created, and the hydraulic piston 1 is pressurized again, whereby the peeling jaw 5 peels further forward and extended the slot. If necessary, the piston rod 7 can be retracted in a third operation, the extension 11 plugged in and the slot can be extended even further with a further stroke. The procedure is similar with a peeling device according to FIGS. 1 and 2, in which the peeling jaw is attached to the corresponding attachment points 8, 8 'on the slide 6 as required. Of course, the mandrel for introducing the first opening 13 can also be arranged on the head of the slide 6, or combined with the peeling jaw can be designed as a plug-on set.

With the peeling device according to the invention, the maximum force of the hydraulic cylinder is available from the beginning over the entire piston stroke. As a comparison with the spreader shown on page 3 of the above-mentioned publication shows, this has a spreading path at the tips of 820 mm when ready for operation Mass of 28 kg and a spreading force of 60 - 80 kN. A peeling device with a (hydraulic cylinder type 12/300 (see page 8 of the above-mentioned document) achieves a maximum travel of at least 600 mm with an operational mass of 13.5 kg and a compressive force of 120 kN (first stroke 300 mm and + 2, stroke 300 mm) and when using an extension 11 up to 1000 mm can be achieved, ie a significant increase in performance with simultaneous weight reduction.
