Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for assembling several, complete printed products, in particular complete newspapers and / or magazines, to packages, in the completed printed products retrieved from at least two memory arrays and one Receiving conveyors are fed, whereupon those in the area of the receiving conveyor successive products put together into packages become.
- Completed printing products are especially finished assembled end products.
- An object of the invention is to develop a method of the type mentioned at the outset in such a way that packages can be put together with the greatest possible flexibility which differ from one another in terms of the type, number and / or sequence of the products successive within a package.
- this object is achieved in that, on the basis of at least two storage arrangements which are filled with completed printing products of different types, products are called up individually from the storage arrangements in a sequence required for a package to be put together, and the retrieved products are fed to a receiving conveyor, with certain products are positioned in front of or between products that have already been supplied to the receiving conveyor, and the products that follow one another in the area of the receiving conveyor are assembled into packages.
- the memory arrangements are so trained that depending on the needs of individual products for each required Times are retrieved and fed to the receiving conveyor can, the retrieved products depending on the requirement only at the end of the consecutive products on the receiving conveyor, but also before or between the receiving conveyor supplied products can be positioned.
- the placing of products in front of or between previously on the receiving conveyor positioned products allows, on the one hand, the order of the products in a package that are consecutive in one to vary high dimensions and on the other hand a comparatively high Number of products per length section of the receiving conveyor to position this so that a maximum utilization of the receiving conveyor can be achieved.
- the method according to the invention thus makes compiling of individual packages possible, in which number, type and order of the products, for example, exactly the route of a newspaper or magazine distributor correspond, taking successive packets - depending on the order route - structured completely differently could be.
- each shooting position it is preferred if successive ones in the area of the receiving conveyor Shooting positions are defined, each shooting position to accommodate exactly one product or even several products suitable is.
- shooting positions which follow one another in an equidistant manner, in particular in the area of the receiving conveyor can, the implementation of the invention Process facilitated, since knowledge of the per unit length of the receiving conveyor existing recording positions the chronological order of the product transfers from the storage arrays to the receiving conveyor can be determined or calculated more easily.
- this embodiment variant an individual further processing of the on the receiving conveyor transported products possible because of the brackets or grippers individually hold products Processing processes can be fed.
- each product supplied to a receiving position is held from below by means of a gripper or a clamp that the products are lying or standing in the area of the receiving conveyor, not but hanging, to be transported.
- the receiving conveyor as a simple conveyor belt, cam belt or as Form arrangement of successive product bags.
- this product transfer can be controlled in such a way that products are only ever transferred to free receiving positions that have not yet been occupied by a product. In this way it can be avoided that two or more products are assigned to a receiving position.
- This determination or calculation can be done both the course of the method according to the invention as well as during it Sequence can be made, with the latter variant sudden changes in requirements are also taken into account can.
- gaps can be deliberately dimensioned so that a two or more products subsequently placed in the area of the gaps can be, whereby the dimensioning of the gaps both the mutual Distance between adjacent recording positions as well as the length Already filed, protruding into the gap and thus certain shooting positions any overlapping products must be taken into account.
- At least individual products are dimensioned in this way and are oriented in the area of the receiving conveyor so that they after assignment to a recording position at least one neighboring one Cover the shooting position.
- This can in the area of the receiving conveyor create a scale formation that is the best possible Ensures utilization of the receiving conveyor.
- the products can be at least one in the direction of the conveying direction of the receiving conveyor cover the adjacent recording position, i.e. that in this case, for example, in a bracket or a gripper held product of the clamp or the gripper in the conveying direction of the Admission conveyor runs ahead.
- the Product handover from the storage arrangements to the receiving conveyor is controlled in such a way that products are always only free, yet not covered by a product or not covered by a product Recording positions are passed.
- This is preferred takes into account that different products also have different dimensions can have, i.e. different products can be one each different number of adjacent recording positions cover up. This ensures that despite the occurrence Coverage of each also supplied subsequently in the area of a gap In any case, hand over the product to a ready-to-take position becomes.
- the products on the receiving conveyor be positioned so that after passing the overlap the last storage arrangement as far as possible in the conveying direction, so that the packages to be put together at the end of the receiving conveyor can be generated in the shortest possible time. Accordingly it is therefore advantageous if the receiving positions of the receiving conveyor be arranged with the smallest possible distance from each other.
- a high efficiency of the method according to the invention can be achieved, for example, if the storage arrangements are arranged along the receiving conveyor with the smallest possible distance from one another, since in this way all products can be transferred to the receiving conveyor in a comparatively short length section.
- Such a small distance can be achieved in particular with carriages which are transported along a guideway and each carry a controllable gripper.
- the carriages which can in principle be conveyed at a variable distance from one another, directly abut one another in the region of the receiving conveyor, in order in this way to enable the aforementioned small mutual distance.
- the packages to be generated can each be two or more different Products included, but also packages with only one product type can be easily generated with the method according to the invention.
- the packets generated according to the invention can be different from one another or contain an equal number of products. Alternatively or additionally, it is possible that the type and / or the Order of products consecutive within a package differ from package to package. However, packages can also be are compiled that are mutually related with regard to Art and / or sequence of the successive products are identical.
- the memory arrangements used according to the invention are special can then be used efficiently if the products are in the area of the storage arrangement in each case for the inclusion of only a single product provided product shots, especially held by brackets become. This enables easy access to individual products from the storage arrangements and a safe delivery of the products from the storage arrays to the receiving conveyor.
- a particularly safe transfer of products from the storage arrangements to the receiving positions of the receiving conveyor for example then reached when the products are taken directly from the product photos the respective storage arrangement to the recording positions of the receiving conveyor, in particular a handover from a bracket of a storage arrangement to a bracket of a Admission conveyor takes place.
- the memory arrangements can share a common method Transfer clock signal are applied.
- FIG. 1 shows a storage arrangement 1 with along a guideway 2 arranged brackets 3, each of which is completed for receiving Printed products 4 are suitable.
- the guideway 2 runs in some areas along a transport wheel 5, which is provided with tooth elements 6 on its outer circumference, to act on the clamps 3 in the direction of rotation of the transport wheel 5 are suitable.
- a retrieval gear 7 provided by means of which individual brackets 3 if necessary cyclically assigned to a tooth element 6 of the transport wheel 5 and can thus be retrieved from the memory arrangement 1.
- the mutual distance of the brackets 3 along the guideway 2 is variable, so that the clamps 3 with printed products 4 in follow the transport direction in front of the transport wheel 5 more closely can, as the empty brackets 3, along the track 2 from Transport bike 5 are transported away. In this way one can reach and a maximum storage capacity of the storage arrangement 1 Fast provision of printed products due to the small conveying path 4 for the next call.
- a guide link 2 ' arranged that the defined and safe Transfer of printed products 4 from the storage arrangement 1 to a receiving conveyor 8 arranged under the storage arrangement enables.
- the receiving conveyor 8 consists of successively in the direction of Arrow 10 transportable grippers 11, which touch each other and are thus arranged with the smallest possible distance from each other.
- the grippers 11 Before the existing between storage arrangement 1 and receiving conveyor 8 The transfer area, the grippers 11 are open and thus ready for Inclusion of a print product 4. When taking over a print product 4 of a bracket 3 of the storage arrangement 1 Gripper 11 closed so as to hold the picked product securely. Alternatively, however, it is also possible to use the grippers after To keep recording of a printed product 4 open, so that to a possibly another or more later further products in grippers 11 already occupied with printed products 4 can be introduced. In the latter case, the gripper 11 is first closed when the recording is complete.
- a particular advantage of the arrangement shown is that the printed products 4 held in the grippers 11 in scale formation overlap with the highest possible coverage, so that the Capacity of the receiving conveyor 8 is used in the best possible way.
- This advantage includes also because of that conditioned that the printed products 4 held in the grippers 11 are forward in the transport direction of the receiving conveyor 8 fold down what u.a. means that during the handover process obliquely oriented printed products 4 at their 3 facing away from the brackets Ends can be gripped comfortably and quickly by the grippers 11 can without gripper 11 and printed products 4 over a longer Distance must be moved together parallel to each other.
- FIG. 2 shows three successively in the conveying direction of the receiving conveyor 8 arranged memory arrangements 1 according to FIG. 1.
- Printed products 4 are occupied, which means that between already 4 gaps 14, 15 present in grippers 11 stored printed products are, which are still occupied with other printed products 4 can.
- the gap 14 shown in FIG. 2 is, for example, with two more Printable products can be documented, this assignment being the middle one and / or right storage arrangement 1 according to FIG. 2 can take place. It is however, only then possible to fill the gap 14 with two printed products 4 to be documented if first the leading gripper 12 and then the trailing grippers 13 are occupied, otherwise a gripper 13 held print product would cover the gripper 12 in such a way that no further product could be introduced into the gripper 12.
- the gap 16 shown in the right area of the receiving conveyor 8 can no longer be used with other printed products 4 because the two empty, the gap 15 generating gripper 17 of the printed product 4 of the gripper 17 trailing grippers are covered.
- FIG. 3 shows five method steps A to E of a method according to the invention.
- the is schematically in each case
- the receiving conveyor 8 are five, only storage arrangements symbolized by arrows F, G, H, I, K are provided, which can be formed for example according to FIG. 1 and from For reasons of clarity in Fig. 3 only in connection with the method step A are drawn.
- process step B the product f was up to the area of the storage arrangement G promoted.
- a product h from the storage arrangement H to the gripper 19 to hand over.
- the gripper 19 is located in the conveying direction in front of the Gripper 18, which is occupied with the product f. It is obvious that that Place the product h in the manner described could, if in those, the gripper 19 leading grippers also products would have already been deposited. In that case, then a deposit of the product h not only before, but between those already deposited Products in the area of a gap.
- step C the products located in the receiving conveyor 8 f, h compared to method step B by the distance between two neighboring ones Gripper transported further, in step C a Transfer of a product g from the storage arrangement G to the gripper 20 takes place, which immediately follows the gripper 18.
- step D the grippers 18 to 20 are as far along the receiving conveyor 8 has been moved that the gripper 20 between the two memory arrays I and K is located. Done in this position a further transfer of a product i from the storage arrangement I to the gripper 21.
- step E the gripper 21 covered with the product i has the Storage arrangement K has already passed and there is a further product delivery from the storage arrangement K to the gripper 22, which the Gripper 21 is immediately downstream.
- process step E there are a total of five consecutive on the receiving conveyor 8
- Products in the order h, f, g, i and k this order not due to application of the method according to the invention corresponds to the order in which the memory arrangements F, G, H, I and K are arranged along the receiving conveyor 8.
- At the end of the receiving conveyor 8 can be from the successive Products easily form a stacked package 23, in which the individual products in sequence in the order h, f, g, i and k.
- process step A the storage arrangement F becomes a product f passed to the gripper 24.
- step B the gripper 24 is in the area between transported the two memory arrays H and I, wherein in this position the transfer of a product h from the storage arrangement H to the gripper 25, which is arranged directly behind the gripper 24 is.
- a product g is delivered from the Storage arrangement G on the gripper 26, which is behind in the conveying direction the gripper 25 is arranged, but between the two grippers 25 and 26 there are a total of three further grippers 27, 28, 29 which are not assigned to any product.
- the gripper 27 is from Gripper 26 covered product g, so that none subsequently further product transfer to the gripper 27 can take place.
- step D there is the gripper 25 with the product h downstream grippers 29 in the area of the storage arrangement K, and in At this position, a product k is transferred from this storage arrangement K to the gripper 29. This transfer thus takes place in a Gap between the two products g and h, which are in the grippers 26 and 25 are held.
- the product is transferred between process steps D and E. g from the storage arrangement G to the gripper 30, which the Gripper 26 is arranged downstream.
- a product is then transferred simultaneously f from the storage arrangement F to the gripper 31 and a product i from the storage arrangement I to the gripper 32.
- the gripper 32 is the gripper 26 immediately downstream, so that a handover here into a gap between the two grippers 26 and 30.
- the products f, h, k, g held in the grippers 24, 25, 29, 26 and 32 and i are combined at the end of the receiving conveyor 8 into a package 33, in which the individual products in the order mentioned successive.
- the these products in the area of the receiving conveyor subsequent products g and f, which are in grippers 30 and 31 are already assigned to a second package, which is differs from package 33 in its structure and composition.
- FIG. 5 shows a variant of the method according to the invention, in which two successive packages of the same type are put together, the order of the products within the packages of the order of the successive storage arrangements along the receiving conveyor corresponds.
- the two products are transferred in process steps A and B. f and g to successive grippers 34, 35.
- a product h is simultaneously dispensed from the storage arrangement H to the gripper 36 and a product f from the storage arrangement F to the gripper 37.
- the gripper 36 follows immediately on the gripper 35, between the grippers 36 and 37 a total of three grippers 38, 39, 40, which are still in process step C. are not occupied with any products.
- step D the simultaneous delivery of a Product i from the storage arrangement I to the gripper 40 and one Product g from the storage arrangement G to the gripper 41.
- the gripper 40 is immediately downstream of the gripper 36, and the gripper 41 is immediately after the gripper 37.
- the delivery of the product i takes place in a gap between those already on the receiving conveyor 8 products located f (gripper 37) and h.
- step E the simultaneous delivery of a Product k to the gripper 39, which immediately follows the gripper 40 and a product h to the gripper 42, which is the gripper 41 is immediately subordinate.
- the product k is thus in the process step E also in a gap between the two products i and f (gripper 37) positioned.
- Fig. 6 illustrates that in certain cases also from all memory arrangements at the same time, one product at a time to the grippers of the receiving conveyor 8 can be submitted, which is then a comparison 5 the reverse order of the products along the method of the receiving conveyor 8 has the consequence.
- This simultaneous delivery of products according to FIG. 6 is located between two neighboring ones Products always an empty gripper, which of the empty one Gripper trailing product is covered. 6 is thus a very quick delivery of products to the receiving conveyor possible, but here twice as much space on the receiving conveyor is required, as in the method according to FIG. 5.
- FIG. 7 shows an arrangement for carrying out which is modified compared to FIG. 2 of the method according to the invention, but here the same Storage arrangements 1 are used.
- the modification opposite 2 in the area of the receiving conveyor, 7 consists of successive carriages 44, which are each coupled to a gripper 45.
- the carriages 44 are only mutually schematic, for example, in FIG. 7 shown flexible elements 46 connected and follow in that Area of the receiving conveyor 8, in which the delivery of products takes place from the memory arrangements 1, at least essentially equidistant to each other.
- the distance between adjacent carriages 44 corresponds the length of the flexible elements 46 in their stretched Status.
- FIG. 8 shows a further device which is used to carry out the inventive method Process is suitable.
- a total of six memory arrays F to L shown, along a conveyor belt Receiving conveyor 8 are arranged.
- a number of similar products f to l are stored.
- From the Storage arrangements F to L are these products f to l individually in the Area of a standby level 47 can be called up, from where it is the conveyor belt of the receiving conveyor 8 can be fed.
- process state C one delivery is made in each case Product g, i and l from the storage arrangements G, I and L. On this The product sequence l, h, i, f and arises on the receiving conveyor 8 G.
- This product sequence is now between process states C and D transported by a distance that is twice the distance of neighboring Storage arrangements F to L corresponds.
- a pick-up position of the pick-up conveyor 8 can also be suitable for picking up two or more products, provided the order of the products placed in a pick-up position fits into the ultimately desired order of the products in the package. This also applies to the grippers explained in connection with FIGS. 1 to 7, which can be conveyed along the receiving conveyor in an open state and are therefore basically also suitable for receiving several products.
- the assembly then takes place at the end of the receiving conveyor 8 a packet 48 in the order l, h, i, f, k and g.
- FIG. 9 shows the product transfer area of a device according to FIG. 8 enlarged.
Abstract
