Definitions
- the invention relates to a storage and transport unit consisting of at least one stack of plate-shaped insulating material elements made of mineral fibers, in particular rock wool and / or glass fibers, and a covering, which at least on the surface and the side surfaces of the Stack and preferably also on the underside of the stack.
- thermal insulation materials are based on a high internal Porosity, consequently on a large number of fine and very fine pores in the insulation material.
- insulation materials known by nature are hydrophilic and therefore through their open or continuous pores Take up water capillary or through internal condensation of water vapor and mostly evenly inside the insulation material to distribute. The absorption of water in the insulation material can, however Adversely affect the insulating ability of the insulating material.
- Insulating materials made from cellulose fibers absorb moisture both in the fiber structure as well as adhesion to the fibers or capillary between tightly packed fibers.
- the capillary suction is parallel to that Fibers significantly higher than perpendicular to the longitudinal fibers.
- the well-known insulation materials namely mineral wool insulation materials consist of glass and / or rock wool fibers, the Glass fibers with average diameters of approx. 2 to 5 ⁇ m with phenol-formaldehyde-urea resins are bound at certain points.
- the amounts of binder amount used for the thermal insulation of buildings Insulation materials approx. 2 to 8% by mass.
- a hydrophobicity of the fibers is caused by oil additives in the range between 0.2 and 0.4 mass% achieved so that these mineral wool insulation materials with even binder distribution made of fine glass fibers only in the direction of the individual fibers have low capillary water absorption. But it is almost impossible that the binder distribution in the entire insulation material done evenly. Furthermore, the impregnation with the oil additives not evenly formed over the entire volume.
- Fibers with a higher bio-solubility are for example from EP-A-0 711 258 known. These glass fibers are made from molten glass, that work well with conventional shredding machines to let. Sufficient moisture resistance is achieved which is determined in a standard procedure. With this procedure Glass semolina with a diameter of approx. 360 to 400 ⁇ m five hours in water cooked and then the dissolved substance determined.
- Rock wool fibers used in addition to glass fibers are also used for the production of insulation materials Rock wool fibers used.
- the bio-solubility of the well-known rock wool fibers is at a pH of 7.5 with a solution rate of approx. 2 nm / day. If the pH falls to 4.5, the solution rate is 3 nm / day.
- Rock wool fiber compositions are also known in which the above values are 2 to 5 times in basic Range and increase 10 to 20 times in the acidic range.
- the half-life of fine fibers after intratracheal is the measure of bio-resistance Instillation in the respiratory tract of rats. In the case of glass fibers the half-lives have been reduced from> 200 days to ⁇ 40 days been.
- the mineral fiber insulation materials are stored for a longer period of time to loss of strength. This is especially true if highly compressed mineral fiber insulation materials over a longer period of time with increased relative humidity and stored in vapor-tight packaging become. Such storage times occur, for example, at the manufacturers of mineral fiber insulation materials when seasonal Production fluctuations were not balanced become. As a result, longer storage times, for example in the Winter or spring occur since these seasons are lower There is demand for mineral wool insulation materials. A constant Utilization of the production facilities therefore leads to a longer storage time as a result of periodic construction activity, with the mineral fiber insulation materials must be stored outdoors for months. To storage volume to save will be mass-intensive, high-density and due to stacking the transport units on top of each other Insulation materials included in this storage phase.
- Such packaging consist of envelopes, mostly of polyolefin, in particular Polyethylene films are made.
- Polyethylene films with thicknesses d ⁇ 0.1 mm according to DIN V 4108-4 have a water vapor diffusion resistance number ⁇ from 100,000. This results in a diffusion equivalent Air layer thickness as a product of the material thickness with the Water vapor diffusion resistance number of approximately 100 m.
- the used Films are therefore clearly water vapor retardant. As a result they can also be used as steam brakes in construction.
- packaging films usually in thicknesses of about 60 to 100 ⁇ m are used and the above also with smaller film thicknesses to set the water vapor diffusion resistance factor ⁇ the packaging films reach blocking values of 6 to 100 m. Since the thin films for strength reasons in larger packaging units or stacking in several layers must be increased the water vapor impermeability continues.
- a complete wrap a stack of mineral fiber insulation boards leads to temperature increases, for example, in the case of intense heating due to solar radiation in the existing between the film and the insulation Room for a temperature rise to relatively high values. On resulting temperature difference between the outside temperature and the interior of the packaging leads to one Water vapor partial pressure drop inside the stack of mineral fiber insulation boards.
- a water vapor partial pressure drop occurs compared to the environment of the insulation stack, which water vapor partial pressure drop represents a driving force so that water vapor due to unavoidable leaks or through open areas the packaging (contact surfaces on pallets) in the areas with the diffused at the highest saturation pressures.
- the outside temperature weakens condensation quickly forms on the inside the packaging film. Repeating the heating will As a rule, defrost water does not evaporate, but remains in liquid Form in the packaging. This leads to an increased failure of condensation, so that with regular repetition of the warming literally water through the daily cycle of the insulation stack pumps.
- the air in diffusion-open insulation materials has a relative humidity from> 80%.
- the surfaces of the mineral fiber insulation boards there is condensation, soft from the mineral fiber insulation boards is at least partially absorbed. Under unfavorable circumstances the mineral fiber insulation boards completely take away the defrost water on.
- the storage and transport units in question can be used in the same way due to damage to the packaging film rainwater take up.
- Rainwater has due to the pollution of the Air may have pH values between 1 and 5, so that the surfaces of mineral fiber insulation boards, which are made in very acidic medium sensitive mineral fibers exist through the absorption of rainwater can be significantly weakened.
- the Haftverbund with the usual in the processing of mineral fiber insulation boards This can reduce glue or plastering.
- the object of the invention is to further develop a storage and transport unit in such a way that hydromechanical loads on the insulation elements, in particular insulation panels, are substantially avoided, or at least reduced.
- the covering consists of a water vapor-permeable material in the form of a film, a fleece and / or a membrane and that the covering has support bodies in the area of the contact surfaces, which serve as spacers.
- Figure 1 is a storage and transport unit consisting of a stack 1 plate-shaped insulation elements 2 made of mineral fibers.
- the plate-shaped insulation elements 2 are horizontally one above the other piled up.
- On the underside of the stack 1 there are two support bodies 4 and 5 provided, made of a material that can be used for insulation purposes consist.
- the support body 4, 5 have a rectangular cross section and the height 8 of the support body advantageously corresponds approximately the thickness of an insulation board 2, 3 of the stack 1 lying thereon.
- the stack 1, together with the support bodies 4, 5, is wrapped 16 surrounded by a water vapor permeable material in Form of a film.
- the envelope 16 lies both on the side surfaces the insulation boards 2, 3, as well as on the surface of the insulation board 2 and the contact surfaces of the support body 4, 5.
- a film made of polyamide is used for the covering 16.
- films made of polypropylene, polyvinyl chloride and / or polyester can be provided his.
- the covering has 16 slots 17 through which condensation from inside the Storage and transport unit can escape to the outside.
- the slots 17 are by cover elements, not shown, in the form of film strips or fleece strips covered.
- Figure 2 shows, compared to Figure 1, an envelope 16, the hood is trained.
- the embodiment differs 2 of the embodiment of Figure 1 in that each support body 4, 5 by a belt 6 and 7 with the stack 1 is connected, so that both the stack and the support body are each wrapped by a common belt 6, 7.
- the two support bodies 4, 5 are transverse to Longitudinal extension of the stack 1, i.e. perpendicular to the image plane of the figures 1 and 2, and spaced apart from each other at the bottom of the stack a certain height 8 arranged so that the support body over extend the entire width of the stack.
- the weight of the stack 1 to the two support bodies 4, 5 reach is the distance between the inner edges of the support body 4, 5 from each other chosen about twice as large as the distance between the outer edges the support body 4, 5 from the adjacent edges of the stack 1.
- the insulation boards are 2, 3 stacked horizontally one above the other. But there is also the possibility of the insulation panels 2, 3 vertically next to each other, that is to be arranged parallel to the image plane of FIG. 2.
- the stacked insulation boards 2, 3 as well as the support body 4, 5 made of mineral wool, preferably rock wool.
- the straps 6, 7 can consist of a film or a non-woven fabric, as far as the straps 6, 7 have sufficient tensile strength, the one Allow connection of the insulation panels 2, 3 and the support body 4, 5.
- the use of a film has the advantage that the film when wrapping the stack and the support body 4, 5 tightly and that, for example, a shrinking process due to heat treatment superfluous.
- Usable films with a proportionate can be used here small thickness of usually less than 20 ⁇ m.
- Greater stability of the Straps 6, 7 can be achieved, for example, in that the films in Multiple layers 11, 12 ( Figure 3) can be arranged. The multiple layers are formed by wrapping the stack 1 several times.
- the envelope 16 shown in Figure 2 is the contact surface of the Stack 1 open, so that water vapor from this open side the storage and transport unit can escape.
- FIG. 3 shows a storage and transport unit, in which the envelope 16 in turn on all side surfaces, the surface and the contact surfaces of the stack 1.
- the support body 4, 5 according to the embodiment Figure 2 in that the support body from a number close together arranged single body with a square cross-section are. These single bodies are longitudinal and diagonal cut into triangular bodies 13, 14. The perpendicular to the image plane extending cutting surface is provided with the reference number 15.
- the Invention is not limited to the illustrated embodiments. Rather, various changes are possible without the protection area to leave the invention.
- the support body 4, 5 made of soft rubber, air-filled pillows, hard foam, wood or the like consist. They can be designed in the form of strips or tunnels.
- Non-woven fabrics in particular non-woven fabrics, can also be used instead of the films mentioned with fibers made of polyester, polyolefins, polyamide and / or mixtures thereof be used. These fibers of the nonwovens are made with binders, such as polyacrylate, styrene polymers, polynitrile butadiene, polyurethane or the like.
- the envelope 16 can be made in several parts be, the individual parts of the envelope 16 with each other are connectable, in particular glued, welded and / or sewn are. But it is also conceivable that the parts of the sheath 16 are detachable are interconnected.
