In this way an annular outlet opening between the neck 14 and the center piece 18 20 formed.
- the middle piece 18 is arched, ie arched down in Fig. 1.
- a piston 22 is shown, the total as can be called pot-shaped and a circumferential, cylindrical, against the inner surface of the cartridge 10 adjacent surface 24, a slight downward arch in FIG. 1 and one from above into the neck 14 protruding frustoconical recess 28 in the center of the bottom 26 includes.
- the piston is used to squeeze the not shown in Fig. 1 pasty material and is in Fig. 1 in the lower end position within the cartridge in which a filling process can begin.
- valve cap 34 engages around collar 30 with its upper edge 36 in FIG. 1. This edge is also conical on its inner surface the outer surface 32 of the collar.
- the outer surface of the valve cap 34 is an inward Ring flange 38, which is first horizontally inwards and then after a kink runs conically downwards and inwards.
- the ring flange 38 serves to close the outlet opening 20 of the cartridge, when the valve cap 34 assumes the position shown in FIG. 1.
- the valve cap can consist of an elastic material and thus be extensible in the radial direction to such an extent that they from the 1 in the position shown in Fig. 2 on the right side Position down on the neck 14 can be moved. It is also alternative or additionally possible, the valve cap in the area of the upper edge 36 to be provided with a number of radial slots for a radial Ensure elasticity.
- the cooperating sloping surfaces of the collar 30 and the upper edge 36 of the valve cap cause the valve cap 34 upwards in the drawing, d. H. biased into the closed position is.
- valve cap 34 The displacement of the valve cap 34 into the lower, the outlet opening 20th releasing position occurs when using the cartridge due to the Pressure of the piston 22 on the pasty mass. During the filling process this pressure is not available, so the valve cap 34 in another Way must be opened.
- a number of claws distributed around the circumference are in the Upper area of the filler neck 12 is provided. These claws become 40 pressed by springs 42 in a manner not shown, so that they assume the position shown on the right in Fig. 1. The one on the the left side in Fig. 1 claw 40 is shifted inwards, so that the valve cap with an inward, hook-shaped projection 44 34 overlaps from above.
