Definitions
- the present invention relates to a method for assigning movable objects to their owners.
- a disadvantage of using such address or name badges is that they are easily accessible to third parties and that there is a possibility of misuse of this personal data. For example, travelers often leave their luggage unattended, which gives third parties the opportunity to find out the name and address of travelers without being noticed. The fact that travelers leave their luggage unattended is not only due to the negligence of some travelers. This means that travelers cannot supervise their luggage during the loading and unloading of a ship or an aircraft, which also gives third parties the opportunity to find out the relevant information using the address or name tags. The data obtained in this way with regard to domestic absence, name and address of the traveler can then be misused by third parties for burglaries. Based on this prior art, the present invention is based on the object of providing a method for assigning moveable objects to their owners, which does not offer unauthorized third parties the opportunity to find out the name or address of the owners.
- the invention proposes a method for anonymously assigning movable objects to their owners, with a person being assigned a code, the personal data and the code being stored centrally, and a movable object being provided with an information carrier, which contains the code as well as information on how to reach the authorized access to the stored information.
- the information carrier also contains information on how to reach the central code issuing agency, which can assign the code on the information carrier to the corresponding personal data.
- Third parties who are in possession of a lost and found item can then report their find to the central code issuing agency, stating the code.
- the code issuing agency arranges personal data corresponding to the code specified by the third party and informs the identified owner. The owner can then get in touch with the finder or he agrees that his address be passed on to the finder by the code issuing agency, so that the finder can in turn contact the owner.
- the method according to the invention thus advantageously offers the possibility of anonymous assignment of movable objects to their owners without unauthorized third parties receiving information about the person of the owner that would be likely to be misused.
- the registration of personal data and the corresponding code assignment takes place with the aid of a computer, so that quick and secure access to the data required in each case can take place.
- the information carrier connected to the movable object has an indication of how to reach the central code issuing office in the form of a telephone number, the specification of the telephone number advantageously ensuring international intelligibility and, moreover, the possibility of making quick and immediate contact offers.
- specifying a telephone number specifying a fax number and specifying an e-mail address are also conceivable, because both the fax number and the e-mail address are internationally understandable and offer the option of making quick contact.
- the code consists of a sequence of numbers and / or letters and can thus achieve an arbitrarily high degree of encryption depending on the number of codes used. Furthermore, the use of such a code ensures that international intelligibility.
- the information carrier contains procedural instructions which explain to a finder the further procedure, these procedural instructions advantageously being carried out in multiple languages on the information carrier.
- the information carrier can be connected to the movable object and is easily accessible in order to avoid inadvertent separation of the information carrier and movable object and to make finding the information carrier as easy as possible.
- the information carrier has a card-like shape and consists of plastic, metal or the like and is therefore weather-resistant in an advantageous manner and cannot be destroyed inadvertently.
- the information carrier is a self-adhesive film which is glued directly onto the surface of a thing to be labeled and which helps to avoid inadvertent separation of the information carrier and moving thing, in particular if the thing labeled in this way is handled improperly.
- unused areas of the information carrier are used for other purposes, for. B. for advertising purposes.
- a computer-aided recording of personal data and code assignment ensures that the data can be called up quickly and securely, so that the owner can be informed as quickly as possible in the event of a lost property report.
- composition of the code from sequences of numbers and / or letters and the specification of a telephone number on the information carrier instead of an address make the information carrier internationally understandable and the method according to the invention can be used worldwide.
- Fig. 1 front view of a card-like information carrier.
- Fig. 2 back view of a card-like information carrier.
- the information carrier 1 shows the front side of a card-like information carrier 1, which has a receiving area 2a for receiving a connecting element 2b and has an information area 3.
- the connecting element 2b By means of the connecting element 2b, the information carrier 1 can be detachably connected to a movable object, not shown here, the information carrier being connectable to a movable object in such a way that the information carrier 1 is easily accessible at all times.
- the information area 3 of the information carrier contains the code 4 stored at a central code issuing agency, instructions 5 for reaching the code issuing agency and procedural instructions 6 which are advantageous are multilingual.
- Third parties who are in possession of a lost and found item which is provided with such an information carrier 1 are given the opportunity to report their find to the central code issuing agency by specifying code 4.
- the code issuing agency uses the code to determine the owner of the lost property and then informs him about the find.
- the instructions 5 for reaching the code issuing agency are given in the form of a telephone number 5a, a fax number 5b and an e-mail address 5c, which provides internationally understandable instructions for contacting us.
- FIG. 2 shows the back of a card-like information carrier 1, which has a receiving area 2a for receiving a connecting element 2b and has an information area 3.
- the unused information area on the back of the information carrier is used for advertising purposes.
