Abstract

Ein Druckmittelzylinder (A) weist zumindest einen durch das Zylinderrohr (1), zumindest eines der Endstücke (2, 3) und einen Kolben (4) definierten Arbeitsraum (6, 7) und zumindest eine Zufuhr-Öffnung (9a, 9b) und eine Ablaß-Öffnung (12a, 12b) für das Arbeitsmedium auf. Um eine kleinere Baugröße zumindest des Ventils zu erreichen, den ohnehin vorhandenen Raum, speziell im Zylinder, besser auszunutzen und das Leistungsvermögen der einzelnen Elemente besser und effizienter abstimmen zu können, ist die Ablaß-Öffnung (12a, 12b) mit einem Ventil (13a, 13b) versehen, das durch den an der Zufuhr-Öffnung (9a, 9b) anliegenden Druck des Arbeitsmediums steuerbar ist. Ein Ventil (V), speziell ein Heichenventil (W), insbesonders in Hippenventil-Bauweise, ist dabei mit zumindest einem Eingang (16) und zumindest einem Ausgang (17a, 17b) für ein Arbeitsmedium sowie zumindest einem Steuer-Anschluß (18) versehen und gekennzeichnet durch einen Ablaß-Kanal (19, 19a; 38a, 38b) für das Arbeitsmedium, ausgehend von einer Position zwischen dem Ventilelement (15; 31, 33) des Ventils und dem zumindest einen Ausgang (17a, 17b), wobei in diesem Ablaß-Kanal ein durch den am Steuer-Anschluß anliegenden Druck oder auch elektrisch schaltbares Auslaß- bzw. Entlüftungssteuerventil (20, 22; 36a, 36b) vorgesehen ist. Die druckmittelbetätigte Arbeitseinheit umfaßt einen pneumatischen Arbeitszylinder (A) mit Entlüftungsventilen (27a, 27b), ein Ventil (V, W) und Entlüftungssteuerventile (24a, 24b; 30) sowie lediglich je eine Druckleitung (29a, 29b) zu jedem Arbeitsraum (6, 7) im Zylinder (A).
