Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for the protection of objects or body parts vibration, in particular a vibration-damping glove or anti-vibration glove, with at least one vibration-damping layer.
- Devices for protecting the human body are, for example, as protectors known for motorcyclists, which is the force on the body in case of accidents mild with a biker's impact.
- DE 196 47 724 A1 describes protectors for motorcycle protective clothing consisting of elastomers and for a better adaptability a base with elevations towards the body of the motorcyclist. Such protectors serve to protect against knocks or bumps.
- gloves are known, which for example according to US 5,632,045 A at least two layers of a damping material containing a layer of viscoelastic material and a Layer consists of a foam.
- Another construction of a glove according to US 5 537 688 A includes a plurality of interconnected bubbles, which contain a liquid.
- gloves exist for protection from heat and mechanical effects, such as the execution according to WO 93/05670 A1 or gloves which have increased grip and adhesion exhibit. Such a glove, in particular goalkeeper glove, for example in WO 95/34228 A1.
- an anti-vibration glove in which at the Protected hand repellent surface upholstered elements of elastic Material are arranged.
- the upholstery elements made of elastic material are made of foam materials and on the underlying layer applied. Those vibrations that are not absorbed by the elastic material be, and are at least partially oriented towards the hand, get through the underlying layer, which usually consists only of tissue, and thus guide a part of the energy to the hand, where they can lead to damage. Therefore, the damping of vibrations with such a glove is insufficient.
- the field of the present invention relates both to the vibration protection of articles as well as the protection of at least parts of the human or animal Body.
- the cause of the vibrations is arbitrary, usually it is about moving systems, which cause unwanted vibrations as a by-product.
- One strives, through appropriate constructions of the moving systems To keep these vibrations low or the frequency of the vibrations in areas move, where they bring fewer disadvantages.
- To be completely excluded are the But not vibrations. Therefore, attempts are made by various means, a centreiteitung to prevent vibrations to other objects or to humans or only to a reduced proportion.
- the area is not limited to vibrating machines.
- the devices can also od for protection against vibration in vehicles. Like. serve.
- the vibrations can be divided in terms of their frequency into those which occur in the middle frequency range of about 31.5 to 200 Hz and those which in high frequency range over 200 Hz occur.
- Currently available protective devices such as. Anti-vibration gloves, are designed so that the vibrations in the middle Frequency range are not amplified and those in the high frequency range to one certain percentage be lowered. They are a series of anti-vibration gloves known, which by means of different materials in different thicknesses cause a damping of the vibration.
- moldings are made Polyurethane, elastomers, silicone gel or polyolefin inserted into the glove. Around To achieve sufficient vibration damping, these moldings are usually very thick, which limits the mobility extremely.
- the aim of the present invention is therefore a device for protection against vibrations to create, with which even in the low frequency range of the vibrations significant damping of the vibrations can be achieved.
- the device should be designed to protect against vibration such that the broadest possible Freedom of movement when applied to the human body is given, as well When used directly on machines od. Like. No mechanical blocking takes place.
- the object according to the invention is achieved in that at least one vibration-damping Layer at least on the, to be protected object or body part rejected surface incisions for decoupling movements in at least has a direction in the plane of said surface and that at least a vibration damping layer of a three-dimensional elastomer matrix, preferably based on polynorbons with embedded vibration damping Softening, so that vibration even in the low frequency range of be sufficiently attenuated from about 31.5 to 200 Hz.
- a vibration-damping Layer with the incisions according to the invention together with The material used ensures that vibrations in the low frequency range, i.e. be sufficiently attenuated from about 31.5 to 200 Hz and beyond a maximum freedom of movement is given.
- the cuts broken surface of the vibration-damping layer is in direct or indirect contact with the source of vibration so that the vibrations are effectively damped can be.
- the cuts are according to the geometry and desired Mobility of the object to be protected or body part arranged.
- gel material groups which is a limited Have a restoring behavior, is made better by a crosslinked elastomer matrix Form stability achieved. It is through the use of such a crosslinked structure possible, optimal vibration damping also in the lower frequency ranges to achieve. This is achieved in that the vibration damping medium, in In this case, the vibration-damping plasticizer, in the three-dimensional crosslinked Elastomer matrix is stored.
- the depth of the cuts is at least 60%, preferably at least 80% and more preferably at least 95% of the thickness of the vibration-damping layer. This will provide better decoupling the movements on the surface of the vibration-damping layer and thus achieved a better vibration damping and greater freedom of movement.
- the width of the cuts is at least so great that at maximum possible Deformation of the vibration-damping layer lying between the incisions Formations of the layer are at least partially decoupled from each other. Thereby even if the layer is deformed, it will have an optimum vibration-damping effect achieved.
- At least one vibration-damping layer a hardness of at most 18 Shore A, preferably 5 Shore A and a rebound resilience of not more than 10%, preferably 3%.
- the surface of the vibration-damping Layer 20% to 80%, preferably 30% of the base area of the vibration-damping Layer.
- the smaller the surface of the vibration-damping layer the better the mobility of the protective device.
- the must Surface but have a certain minimum so that the functionality and the Transmission of a holding force on the protective device, especially during use as a glove, is preserved. This is supported by the fact that with choice a lower surface of the vibration damping layer a harder material and If a larger surface is chosen, a softer material is used.
- the Vibration-damping layer 1 shows an embodiment of a vibration-damping layer 1 according to the invention for use in a vibration-damping glove in plan view.
- the Vibration-damping layer 1 has substantially the shape of a human hand and has according to the invention on a surface incisions 2, which according to the desired movement or the geometry of the object to be protected, in this case the human hand, are arranged. By arranging a plurality of cuts 2 results in a variety of intermediate formations 3.
- the vibration-damping Layer 1 is designed so that the surface 4 of the formations 3 substantially parallel to the base 5 of the layer 1 is located.
- the resulting surface 4 of Formations 3 should be as large as possible, so that the largest possible Contact surface to the vibrating object results.
- the vibration damping layer 1 By the Inventive embodiment of the vibration damping layer 1 is achieved that the in the direction of the interior of the layer 1 oriented vibrations by the appropriate Material are absorbed and in addition a reproduction of the direction of the plane of the Surface 4 of the layer 1 oriented vibrations is effectively prevented.
- the Movements on the surface 4 are at the incisions 2 partially inside the vibration damping layer 1 forced, where, for example, a conversion of Vibrational energy takes place in heat. Investigations have shown that by the Inventive device vibration in both the middle and in the high Frequency range can be significantly reduced and that nevertheless the freedom of movement especially when used in a glove remains.
- the depth T of the incisions 2 occupies a large part of the thickness D of the vibration-damping layer 1.
- the depth T is at least 60%, preferably at least 80% and more preferably at least 95% of the thickness D of the layer 1.
- the width B of the incisions is as small as possible, so that the largest possible surface 4 results over which the vibrations are absorbed but at the same time also at least so great that a transfer of movements in the direction of the plane of the surface 4 does not take place from a molding 3 to the adjacent formation 3.
- the incisions 2 must be at least as wide as possible at maximum possible deformation of the layer 1 no contact of the formations 3 takes place.
- a touch in places is tolerable, for optimal vibration damping, however, the majority of the formations 3 should be decoupled from each other.
- the incisions 2 are preferably designed so that their width B increases in the direction of the surface 4 of the layer 1.
- trapezoidal design wherein the incisions 2 on the surface 4 have a width B 1 , which is greater than the width B 2 in the depth of the incision 2.
- a trapezoidal course can also be a curved or otherwise shaped course the cross section of the incisions 2 are selected.
- the incisions 2 is preferably chosen so that even with such a maximum deformation, a certain minimum width B min of the incisions 2 results, so that in this state of the layer 1, a mutual decoupling of the formations 3 takes place.
- a plurality of layers 1 can be arranged one above the other, wherein different materials or combinations of materials can be used.
- the Notches 2 according to the invention can also on both surfaces 4, 5 of the be arranged vibration-damping layer 1.
- the applications of the invention are also not limited to gloves. Rather, such devices are for protection Vibration versatile, such. with handles of motorcycles, seats of Vehicles or much more.
