Claims (31)

  1. A flap for a bag (1) intended to be connected to the body (2) of the bag (1), this flap (3) being formed by a deformable piece and also comprising at least one cutout (25) for at least one handle (5) to pass situated in the middle part between the front (23) and rear (22) edges of the flap (3), characterised in that it comprises at least two passages (28) whose function is to allow the passage of a strap (4) for holding the flap (3) on at least one wall (7) of the body (2), the passages (28) being situated in front of and close to the middle part between the transverse edges (24) of the flap (3), at a sufficient distance from each other and disposed on the flap (3) so that, when the flap (3) is mounted on the body (2) of the bag (1), the passages (28) are opposite the wall (7) in order to make it possible to connect the flap (3) thereto by the strap (4).
  2. A flap according to Claim 1, characterised in that it comprises at least two pairs of passages (28, 28a).
  3. A flap according to either one of Claims 1 to 2, characterised in that it also comprises, towards its rear longitudinal edge (22), at least a first aperture (26) for a locking system (6).
  4. A flap according to Claim 3, characterised in that the first aperture (26) is situated in the middle part between its transverse edges (24).
  5. A flap according to Claim 3 or 4, characterised in that it comprises a second aperture (27) for the locking system (6) towards its front longitudinal edge (23).
  6. A flap according to any one of Claims 3 to 5, characterised in that the first and second apertures (26, 27) are disposed substantially opposite each other when the flap (3) is folded on itself about a median longitudinal axis (A).
  7. A flap according to Claim 4, characterised in that the first aperture (26) is surrounded, on each side and close by, by two passages (28a) for the connecting strap (4), the passages (28a) and the first aperture (26) being disposed along the same straight line substantially parallel to the rear longitudinal edge (22) of the flap (3).
  8. A flap according to one of Claims 1 to 7, characterised in that it comprises at least two cutouts (25) or at least one pair of cutouts (25).
  9. A flap according to any one of Claims 1 to 8, characterised in that the cutouts (25) are situated close to its transverse edges (24).
  10. A flap according to any one of Claims 1 to 9, characterised in that the cutouts (25) are situated in the vicinity of its middle part between its transverse edges (24).
  11. A flap according to any one of Claims 1 to 10, characterised in that the passages (28, 28a), apertures (26, 27) and cutouts (25) each have a general elongate or oblong shape, all extending parallel with respect to the transverse edges (24).
  12. A flap according to any one of Claims 1 to 11, characterised in that it is preformed whilst being curved around a median longitudinal axis (A).
  13. A bag comprising a wall (7) forming the container delimiting an opening (8) and a flap (3) associated with the wall (7) so as to be able to cover the opening (8) in which the flap (3) is in accordance with one of Claims 1 to 12 and is mounted removably and without stitching on the said wall (7) by means of a strap itself mounted with slight friction in loops (21) on the wall (7) so as not to escape from it in an unwanted fashion.
  14. A bag according to Claim 13, characterised in that the strap provides as functions firstly the removable holding of the flap (3) on the wall (7) and secondly the closure of the opening (8) by folding of the wall (7) of the bag (1) on itself, the said wall being made so as to form folds or bellows (46) over which the strap passes so as to be able to be deployed, or on the other hand flattened.
  15. A bag according to Claim 14, characterised in that the strap (4) also provides as a function, thirdly, the locking of the bag (1) by cooperation with the locking system (6).
  16. A bag according to any one of Claims 13 to 15, characterised in that the strap (4) is placed around the wall (7) at the periphery of the opening (8) of the bag (1).
  17. A bag according to any one of Claims 13 to 16, characterised in that the strap (4) is an open portion whose two free end parts (47) can cooperate with the locking system (6).
  18. A bag according to one of Claims 13 to 17, characterised in that the wall (7) of the bag (1) forms, towards its rear longitudinal edge (14) adjacent to the opening (8), a hem (15) in which a rigid rod (34) cooperates.
  19. A bag according to Claim 18, characterised in that the rigid rod (34) is removably mounted, in particular by means of at least one removable projecting head (37), by screwing.
  20. A bag according to one of Claims 13 to 19, characterised in that it also comprises at least one handle (5) passing through the cutouts (25) in the flap (3), provided at its two end parts (29) with holes (30), the said end parts (29) being housed in two scallops (16) provided in the hem (15), the transverse rigid rod (34) cooperating with the holes (30) in the handle (5), so that the handle (5) is mounted on the wall (7) of the body (2) of the bag (1) removably and without stitching.
  21. A bag according to one of Claims 13 to 20, characterised in that comprises two handles (5), (31), mounted in the same pair of cutouts (25) in the flap (3) and of scallops (16) in the hem (15).
  22. A bag according to Claim 21, characterised in that one (31) of the handles is short for carrying the bag (1) in the hand and the other (5) long for carrying the bag (1) as a shoulder strap.
  23. A bag according to Claim 21 or 22, characterised in that the short handle (31) is produced by superimposing two pieces of leather (32, 33), the two faces on the flesh side being against each other.
  24. A bag according to one of Claims 13 to 23, characterised in that the locking system (6) is in the form of a piece comprising:
    a plate (38);
    a journal (39) projecting with respect to the plate (38) ;
    a first aperture (40) provided in the journal (39) adjacent to the plate (38);
    a projection (44) projecting from the plate (38) opposite to the journal (39).
  25. A bag according to Claim 24, characterised in that the plate (38) is positioned, interposed and immobilised between the internal face of the flap (3) and the strap (4) which holds it, which passes through the first aperture (40) of the locking system (6), the journal (39) passes through a first aperture (18) provided in the wall (7) of the body of the bag (1) to which the flap (3) is applied, and the projection (44) passes through the first aperture (26) in the flap (3).
  26. A bag according to Claim 24, characterised in that the locking means (45) are associated with the projection (44) on the locking system (6).
  27. A bag according to any one of Claims 24 to 26, characterised in that it also comprises a second aperture (19) provided in the wall (7) of the body (2) of the bag (1) opposite to the first (18); and in that the journal (39) of the locking system (6) passes through the second aperture (19) when the bag (1) is closed; and in that the free end parts (47) of the strap (4) are placed in the second aperture (41) of the locking system (6) placed outside the bag (1), these end parts (47) being held in the locking system (6) by the flap (3) which presses them against it.
  28. A bag according to Claim 27, characterised in that the first (18) and second (19) apertures in the bag (1) extend in the same direction, which is substantially parallel to the rear longitudinal edge (14).
  29. A method especially adapted to the assembly of a bag (1) in accordance with any one of Claims 13 to 28, using a wall (7) forming the body (2) of the bag (1), a flap (3) and a strap (4), in which:
    the flap (3) is positioned with respect to the body (2) of the bag (1);
    the strap (3) is slipped through the loops (21) on the wall (7) and in the passages (28) in the flap (3) ;
    the strap (4) is tensioned;
    the assembly thus being effected removably and without stitching.
  30. An assembly method according to Claim 29, characterised in that firstly the locking system (6) is mounted on the flap (3) and is made to cooperate with the first aperture (18) in the wall (7).
  31. An assembly method according to Claim 29 or 30, characterised in that the handle (5) is positioned in the cutouts (25) in the flap (3) and the scallops (16) in the hem (15); the rigid rod (34) is slipped into the said hem (15); and the said rod is immobilised on the body (2) of the bag (1).
