Abstract

The invention relates to a device (1) for maintaining a tie (7) or a similar clothing article, that comprises a holder part (10) including a front face, the holder part being symmetrical relative to a longitudinal axis (A) extending in the plane of the front face, and that comprises: first (6a) and second (6b) inlet loops provided on either side of the longitudinal axis (A) and extending respectively in a first and a second plane; at least one insertion opening (2) provided in the vicinity of the first (6a) and second (6b) inlet loops; and an outlet opening (4) substantially extending in the plane of the front face, the first and second planes being inclined relative to the plane of the front face.

Description

"Device for holding a tie or similar article of clothing"

The present invention relates to a device for maintaining a tie or similar article of clothing.

It generally relates to accessories for ties or similar clothing items, such as scarves, scarves or cords. Tie knots are not always simple and quick to make. There are, for example, ties with the knot already made or clamp systems used to hold the tie by replacing the knot.

US 4 173 792 discloses a device for holding a tie and at the same time replacing the tie knot. The device has two parts fixed together at the ends.

It is necessary to open the device for receiving strands of the tie and to close it for the maintenance of the tie.

The device comprises on one of its parts an opening and notches to guide the passage of the strands of the tie. The device must be closed to hold the tie.

This type of device is not simple to use, the strands of the tie are easily gripped, thus giving unsightly results. It is the same for document US Pat. No. 3,745,614. There are other devices such as that described in document WO 98/27838 which comprise three openings, extending on planes perpendicular to the plane of the visible face of the device. once installed. The strands of the tie enter respectively a first and a second opening, and leave by a third opening.

Fixing the tie with such a device is not satisfactory, since the device can easily slide along the tie. The present invention aims to solve the above limitations and to provide a device for maintaining a tie or a similar clothing item, simple to use, effective in terms of maintenance and respecting the natural form of a tie knot, thus making an aesthetic result.

For this purpose, the present invention aims according to a first aspect, a device for maintaining a tie or a similar clothing item.

According to the invention the device comprises a support part comprising a presentation face, the support part being symmetrical with respect to a longitudinal axis which extends in the plane of said presentation face, and comprising:

- a first and a second input loop which are located on either side of the longitudinal axis and which extend respectively in a first and second plane; at least one insertion opening located near the first and second inlet loops; and

an outlet opening which extends substantially in the plane of the presentation face, the first and second planes being inclined with respect to the plane of the presentation face. Thus, the support piece is adapted to the insertion of the strands of the tie by the two inlet handles and the at least one insertion opening and the outlet of the strands of the tie through the outlet opening.

Thus, during the passage of the strands of the tie through the inlet handles and openings, the tie is fixed and held in the support piece.

The first strand of the tie passes through the first inlet loop and then through the at least one insertion opening, the second strand of the tie passes through the second inlet loop and then through the at least one opening of introduction and the two strands meet in the exit opening.

The two handles help guide the strands of the tie and hold the tie in the support piece. Thus, the holding device according to the invention allows in one piece of support both the positioning of the strands of the tie and their maintenance.

Due to the relative orientation of the planes in which the inlet loops and the outlet opening are located, the orientation of the strands of the tie as it passes through the support piece is changed, the tie being thus perfectly maintained in the support piece.

This structure and the positioning of the inlet handles and openings are particularly well suited for fastening a tie around the collar of a shirt by reproducing a classic bow tie.

According to one embodiment, the surface of the outlet opening is greater than the area of said first and second handles.

Thus, the strands of the tie enter respectively through the inlet loops and through the at least one insertion opening and exit together from the support device through the exit opening with ease. The tie maintained with the support device has a natural aesthetic result.

According to another embodiment, the support piece further comprises a frame extending in the plane of the presentation face and has two input edges near the two inlet loops respectively, and an output edge, and in that the at least two openings are located in the plane of the frame.

According to a preferred feature, the support piece further comprises a three-branched element defining with the frame a first and a second inlet opening and the outlet opening, the three-branched element being located in an offset plane and parallel to the plane of the frame of the support piece.

Thus, the strands of the tie have enough space for passage through the openings. The strands, not being compressed, fall naturally after passing through the support piece and the aesthetic result is satisfactory. According to one embodiment, the device for holding a tie further comprises a front shell adapted to cooperate with the support piece.

Thus, a shell can be adapted to the support piece, with an ornamental purpose.

The support piece comprises means for fixing a front shell.

The present invention aims according to a second aspect, the use of the holding device for mounting a tie. According to the invention, in the use of the device for mounting a tie:

a first strand of the tie passes in the order of the first inlet loop and the first insertion opening from the front to the rear of the support piece; - a second strand of the tie passes in the order, the second inlet loop and the second opening of introduction from the front to the rear of the support piece; and

said two strands of the tie pass through the outlet opening from the rear to the front of the support piece. According to a preferred feature, the front shell is attached to the support piece.

Other features and advantages of the invention will become apparent in the description below.

We will first describe with reference to Figure 1 and Figure 2, a device for holding a tie or a similar clothing item according to the invention.

Here, such a device 1 has a tie-knot shape. The holding device 1 comprises a support piece 10. This support piece 10 comprises a presentation face, or face of the support piece 10 located at the front when the holding device 1 is installed for example around the neck of the holder. a shirt and keeps a tie.

The support member 10 has a first 1a and a second 1b input edge and an output edge 1c.

Further, the support member 10 has a first side edge 1d located between the first input edge 1a and the output edge 1c, and a second side edge 1e located between the second input edge 1b and the exit edge. 1 C.

Finally, the support piece 10 has an upper edge 1f opposite the output edge 1c, thus being located between the two input edges 1a, 1b. The assembly formed by the two input edges 1a, 1b, the output edge 1c, the two lateral edges 1d, 1e and the upper edge 1f form a frame 10 'of the support piece 10.

This frame 10 'of the support part 10 extends on the plane of the presentation face.

Of course, the holding device may have different shapes and thus have a number of different edges.

In this embodiment, the support piece 10 has three openings, a first 2 and a second introduction opening 3 and an outlet opening 4.

The support piece 10 is symmetrical with respect to a longitudinal axis A.

Thus, the first 2 and the second insertion opening 3 are located on either side of the vertical axis A, and the outlet opening 4 is centered with respect to the vertical axis A.

Of course, the openings 2, 3, 4 can have various shapes and sizes.

The three openings 2, 3, 4 are adapted to pass the strands of a tie to maintain it, as will be described later. The support piece 10 further comprises a three-branched element

This element with three branches 5 defines with the frame 10 'the three openings 2, 3, 4.

Thus, a first branch 5a of the element with three branches 5 constitutes a separation between the first 2 and the second introduction opening 3.

In addition, a second branch 5b of the element with three branches 5 constitutes a separation between the second introduction opening 3 and the outlet opening 4. Finally, a third branch 5c of the element with three branches 5 constitutes a separation between the first introduction opening 2 and the outlet opening 4. This piece with three branches 5 is located in a plane offset and parallel to the plane of the frame 10 'of the support part 10.

Thus the strands of the tie have enough space to pass from each introduction opening 2, 3 in the outlet opening 4. Thus, the strands are not compressed, make the result aesthetic.

Here, the side 4a of the outlet opening 4 near the outlet edge 1c of the frame 10 'of the support piece 10 is bent towards the inside of the outlet opening 4.

Thus, this curved shape of the exit edge makes it possible to give a curved shape to the strands of the tie making a natural result.

In addition, this curved shape of the exit edge helps to keep in a fixed position the strands of the tie.

Nevertheless, this side 4a close to the output edge 1c of the frame 10 'of the support piece 10, may have other shapes, for example be rectilinear. Preferably, this side 4a of the outlet opening 4 near the output edge 1c, is cut bevel.

Thus, the strands of the tie out through the outlet opening 4 with ease, when fixing the device as will be described later.

The support piece 10 has two inlet handles 6a, 6b. A first input loop 6a is located near the first input edge 1a of the frame 10 'of the support piece 10.

A second input loop 6b is located near the second input edge 1b of the frame 10 'of the support piece 10. This second input loop 6b is symmetrical to the first input loop 6a with respect to the longitudinal axis A. In this embodiment, these two inlet loops 6a, 6b are located in a plane perpendicular to the plane of the frame 10 'of the support part 10.

In Figures 3A and 3B is shown how the strands 7a, 7b of a tie 7 through the openings 2, 3, 4 of the support part 10 so that the tie 7 is maintained.

When using the holding device 1, a first strand 7a of the tie 7 passes through the first inlet loop 6a and then the first opening introduction 2 from the front to the rear of the support piece 10. A second strand 7b tie 7 passes through the second inlet loop 6b and then the second introduction opening 3 from the front to the The two strands 7a, 7b pass under the three-armed part 5 and pass through the outlet opening 4 from the rear to the front of the support piece 10.

In FIG. 3A, a mode of use of the holding device 1 with a scarf is illustrated, in which the strands 7a, 7b pass through the outlet opening 4, one parallel to the other.

In Figure 3B, another mode of use of the holding device 1 with a tie is illustrated, wherein the two strands 7a, 7b tie 7 are superimposed.

Thus, thanks to the structure of this support piece 10 of the holding device 1, a tie or other similar article of clothing 7 is positioned and maintained, for example around the collar of a shirt, only with the aid of this support piece 10.

Preferably, as illustrated in FIGS. 4 and 5, a front shell 8 is adapted to cooperate with the support piece 10 described above.

Thus, this shell 8 has an ornamental purpose, to cover the support part 10 and the strands 7a, 7b. The shell 8 has a convex shape, to accommodate the strands 7a, 7b of the tie 7.

The shell 8 has a first 8a and a second 8b input edge and an output edge 8c.

In addition, the shell 8 has a first side edge 8d located between the first input edge 8a and the output edge 8c, and a second side edge 8e located between the second input edge 8b and the output edge 8c.

Finally, the shell 8 has an upper edge 8f opposite the outlet edge 8c of the shell 8, thus located between the two inlet edges 8a, 8b of the shell 8. The two input edges 8a, 8b, and the output edge 8c are curved. The curve of the input edges 8a, 8b is similar to the curve of the inlet loops 6a, 6b of the support piece 10.

The outlet edge 8c of the shell 8 is curved so that the strands 7a, 7b of the tie 7 have the necessary space to exit the holding device 1.

To ensure the attachment of the shell 8 to the support member 10, the shell 8, and the support member 10 comprise fixing means.

Thus, the support piece has a hinge 9 located on the upper edge 1f of its frame 10 '. In addition, flanges 12 are made respectively along the two side edges 1d, 1e (see also Figure 6).

Complementarily, two edges 11 are disposed on the inner face 8i of the shell. In addition, the upper edge 8f of the shell is adapted to be fixed to the hinge 9 of the support piece 10.

Thus, the support piece 10 and the shell 8 are fixed together by the hinge 9 of the support piece 10. The shell 8 is placed on the support piece 10 by pivoting around the hinge 9, once the strands ties positioned and held in the support piece.

When the shell 8 is placed on the support piece 10, the edges 11 of the shell 8 are placed under the flanges 12 of the support piece 10 so that the shell 8 is immobilized on the support piece 10.

This secures the shell 8 on the support piece 10 by latching means.

Of course, other systems can be used to immobilize the shell 8 on the support part 10, such as magnetic means, such as magnets.

When the shell 8 covers the support piece 10, the inlet edges 8a, 8b of the shell 8 coincide with the inlet loops 6a, 6b of the support piece 10.

Thus, when the shell 8 is closed on the support piece 10, the inlet loops 6a, 6b of the support piece 10 make it possible to prevent the strands 7a, 7b from being pinched. Of course, the attachment between the shell 8 and the support part 10 can be achieved by other means, for example by a flexible attachment.

Thus, when a shell cooperates with the support piece, the use of the holding device described with reference to FIGS. 3A and 3B is completed with the attachment of the front shell to the support piece.

7A and 7B will be described with reference to a device for holding a tie or similar article of clothing according to a second embodiment of the invention.

Figure 7A shows a front view of the holding device. This view corresponds to the presentation face, that is to say to the face of the support piece 10 which is located at the front when the holding device is installed to maintain for example a tie located around the neck a shirt.

The support piece 15 'is symmetrical with respect to a longitudinal axis A' which extends on the plane of this presentation face The support piece 15 'comprises a first 6a ¹ and a second 6b' entry loop.

The inlet loops 6a ¹ and 6b ¹ are located on either side of the longitudinal axis A '.

In this example, the support piece 15 'has a first insertion opening 2' located near the first inlet handle 6a 'and a second insertion opening 3' located near the second inlet handle 6b.

The support piece 15 'also has an outlet opening 4'. The outlet opening 4 'is delimited by an outlet contour 20'. This outlet opening 4 ', as well as the output contour 20' which delimits it, extends substantially in the plane of the presentation face of the support piece 15 '.

Here, as shown in FIG. 7B, the outlet opening 4 'is situated in the plane containing the presentation face and at the longitudinal axis A'.

Each input loop 6a ', 6b' extends in a plane. These planes are inclined relative to the plane of the presentation face of the support piece 15 '.

In this example, the angle of inclination formed between the plane of the presentation face of the support piece and the plane in which the first loop is located and the angle of inclination formed between the plane of the presentation face and the plane in which the second inlet loop 6b is located are identical and have a value of 90 °.

Of course, these inclination angles may have different values that may belong to a range of values between 30 ° and 120 °.

In addition, the plane in which is located the first inlet loop 6a 'and a plane which contains the longitudinal axis A' and which is perpendicular to the plane containing the presentation face, form an angle of inclination β. Here, this angle of inclination β has a value of 30 °. Of course, the angle formed by the plane in which the second inlet loop 6b 'is located and the plane contained by the longitudinal axis A' is similar to the angle of inclination β.

This angle of inclination value is particularly well adapted so that the inlet loops receive a tie located around a collar of a shirt, make a natural appearance once the holding device installed.

Of course, this angle of inclination may have different values belonging to a range of values between 0 ° and 80 °.

The first inlet loop 6a ¹ is connected to the outlet opening 4 'through a first side edge 1d'. In the same way, the second inlet loop 6b ¹ is connected to the outlet opening 4 'through a second side edge 1e'.

The two inlet loops 6a ¹ , 6b ¹ are interconnected through an upper edge 1f. A support member 5a ¹ connects the outlet opening 4 'and the upper edge 1f. This support member 1f reinforces the structure of the support piece 15 '.

Thus, the first insertion opening 2 'is delimited by the first input loop 6a', the upper edge 1f, the support member 5a ', the outlet opening 4' and the first side edge 1d '. Similarly, the second introduction opening 3 'is delimited by the second inlet loop 6b ¹ , the upper edge 1f, the support element 5a ¹ , the outlet opening 4' and the second side edge 1e . In this embodiment, the exit aperture, as well as the inlet loops 6a ', 6b' have an elliptical shape.

Of course, the shape of the outlet opening 4 'and the inlet loops 6a', 6b 'may be different, for example circular or oval. Here, the surface of two inlet loops 6a ', 6b ¹ is similar and smaller than the surface of the outlet opening 4'.

Thus, the support piece 15 'is well adapted to pass each of the strands of a tie by the inlet loops respectively, and the two strands through the outlet opening 4'; FIGS. 8A and 8B show a third embodiment of the holding device 1 "in which the first feed opening and the second feed opening form a single feed opening 2".

The exit opening 4 ", as well as its output contour 20", may not be strictly located in the plane of the presentation face. Thus, they may be slightly inclined relative to the plane that contains the presentation face and the longitudinal axis A ", and form with it an opening angle α.

However, the opening angle α can not exceed 30 °.

It is the same for the different embodiments of the holding device.

Of course, the angles of inclination of the inlet loops with respect respectively to the plane of the presentation face and to the plane containing the longitudinal axis A 'and which is perpendicular to the plane containing the presentation face, may be varied in the various embodiments of the holding device.

FIG. 9 represents the use of the second and third embodiments of the holding device 1 'for holding a tie 7'. The use, of course, is similar to that of the first embodiment described with reference to FIGS. 3A and 3B and will not be described here. Thus, thanks to the invention, it is possible to maintain a tie in a simple and fast way, without having to tie and with aesthetic results. In addition, the invention makes it possible to replace the tie knot by the device described with ornamental purposes.

Of course, many modifications can be made to the embodiment described above without departing from the scope of the invention.

Thus, the holding device may have other shapes and openings with different shapes and different number.

Furthermore, the invention can be applied to articles other than ties, such as scarves, scarves or cords.

Claims

1. Holding device (1, 1 ', 1 ") of a tie (7, 7') or similar article of clothing, characterized in that it comprises a support piece (10, 15 ') ) having a presentation face, the support piece being symmetrical with respect to a longitudinal axis (A, A ¹ , A ") which extends in the plane of said presentation face, and comprising:

- a first (6a, 6a ¹ ) and a second (6b, 6b ¹ ) inlet loop which are located on either side of said longitudinal axis (A, A ¹ , A ") and which extend respectively in a first and second plane;

at least one insertion opening (2, 2 ', 2 ") located close to said first (6a, 6a ¹ ) and second (6b, 6b ¹ ) inlet ports, and

an outlet opening (4, 4 ', 4 ") which extends substantially in said plane of said presentation face, said first and second planes being inclined with respect to said plane of said presentation face.

2. Holding device (1, 1 ", 1") according to claim 1, characterized in that the surface of said outlet opening (4, 4 ', 4 ") is greater than the area of said first (6a, 6a ¹ ) and second (6b, 6b ') handles.

3. Holding device (1) according to one of claims 1 to 2, characterized in that said support member (10) further comprises a frame

(10 ') extending in said plane of said presentation face and having two input edges (1a, 1b) near said two input loops (6a, 6b) respectively, and an output edge (1c) , and in that said at least two openings (2, 4) are located in said plane of the frame (10 ').

Holding device (1) according to claim 3, characterized in that said support member (10) further comprises a three-branched element (5) defining with said frame (10 ') a first (2) and a second (3) inlet opening and said outlet opening (4), the three-branch element (5) being located in a plane offset and parallel to the plane of said frame (10 ') of said support part (10).

5. Holding device (1, 1 ', 1 ") according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that it further comprises a shell (8) facade adapted to cooperate with said support piece ( 10, 15 ').

6. Holding device (1, 1 ', 1 ") according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that said support member (10, 15') comprises fixing means (9) of a shell (8) facade.

7. Use of the device according to one of claims 1 to 6, for mounting a tie (7, 7 '), characterized in that:

a first strand (7a) of the tie (7) passes in order through said first inlet loop (6a, 6a ') and said first insertion opening (2, 2',

- a second strand (7b) of the tie passes in the order, said second inlet loop (6b, 6b ') and said second insertion opening (3, 3') from the front to the back of said support member; and - said two strands (7a, 7b) of the tie (7, 7 ') through said outlet opening (4 ^1, 4 ") from the rear towards the front of said support member (10, 15') .

8. Use of the holding device (1, 1 ', 1 ") according to claim 7, characterized in that said front shell is attached to said support member (10, 15').
