Da das Querfalzen in zwei Stufen/ Vorfalzen und Fertigfalzen erfolgt/ sind die jeweils für eine Falzstufe erforderlichen Kräfte verringert. Durch den Einsatz von zylindrischen Vorfalz-Klemmelementen des maulartig wirkenden Vorfalz-Klemmelemente-Systems werden die mit dem Vorfalz-Klemmspalt in Verbindung stehenden Seitenflächen des Vorf a Izproduktes beschädigungsfrei behandelt.
