Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Schaufel für eine Strömungsmaschine, beispielsweise einen Verdichter, eine Pumpe oder eine Turbine, wobei sich die Schaufel von mindestens einer Wand in eine Strömung erstreckt und sich im Betrieb der Strömungsmaschine im Übergangsbereich zwischen Wand und Schaufel eine Eckenströmung ausbildet. Derartige Schaufeln finden sich in vielerlei Bauarten von Strömungsmaschinen, beispielsweise Axialströmungsmaschinen wie Verdichtern und Turbinen, aber auch Radialströmungsmaschinen wie Radialventilatoren. Die Wirkungsgrade derartiger Maschinen liegen zwar meist zwischen 80% und 90%, sind jedoch noch immer geringer als die theoretisch erreichbaren Wirkungsgrade. Höhere Wirkungsgrade werden auf baulich einfache Weise erfindungsgemäß dadurch erreicht, daß die Oberfläche der Schaufel (1) oder der Wand (2) mit zumindest einem gegenüber der Schaufel (1) kleinem Hilfsflügel (4) versehen ist, der sich von der Oberfläche der Schaufel (1) oder der Wand (2) weg in die Strömung erstreckt und der gegen die an dieser Stelle herrschende Strömung angestellt ist, wobei der Hilfsflügel (4) derart im Bereich der Eckenströmung (6) auf der Schaufel (1) oder der Wand (4) angeordnet ist, daß im Betrieb der Strömungsmaschine in seinem Nachlauf ein Wirbel (5) ausgebildet ist, durch den die Eckenströmung (6) beeinflußt und deren Ablösung weitestgehend vermieden wird. Da die Eckenströmung aufgrund der Nähe zur Schaufeloberfläche und zur Wand besonders langsam ist, löst sie sehr leicht ab, was für Verluste in den Strömungsmaschinen verantwortlich ist. Der durch den Hilfsflügel erzeugte Wirbel führt schnell strömendes Fluid aus der Außenströmung in die Eckenströmung und verhindert so die Ablösung. Dadurch kann der Wirkungsgrad von Strömungsmaschinen nochmals gesteigert werden. Die bei herkömmlichen Strömungsmaschinen durch die Eckenablösung erzeugten Vibrationen und Geräusche werden ebenfalls vermindert.
