Definitions
- the invention relates to a lock with an adjustable latch, with a fork-shaped cross-drop Nut levers, e.g. Angle lever, and with a spring in the Lock housing and with a pin in a hole in the Nut lever for the articulated connection between the one elongated hole for the drop shaft and the nut lever.
- Trap designs are known in which for Moving the latch this pressed into the lock housing and by 180 ° around a horizontal in the direction of displacement lying axis can be turned. That points to Lock housing in the parallel lock ceilings recesses according to the side view of the trap on the rotation enable. Alternatively, it is known to counter the trap the force of a spring from the lock housing over the faceplate pull out and turn over.
- the invention aims to complete the construction Improve removal of the trap, especially to simplify.
- no additional components required are compared to the normal construction no additional components required.
- FIG. 1 shows the latch area of a mortise lock as a detail in section
- Fig. 2 with the trap Drop shaft and subsequent latch lever in side view 3 shows a section according to FIG. 1 with the case disengaged, ready for removal.
- a trap 1 includes a falling shaft 2, which is inside a lock housing between the lock ceilings 3 and 4 is.
- the trap 1 can against the force of a spring 5th by means of an angle lever operated by the pusher (not shown) 6 withdrawn.
- the angle lever 6 is on one end is fork-shaped and engages with their two legs 7, 8 the falling shaft 2, which at its end is formed with an elongated hole 9 (dashed lines in Fig. 2nd ) Shown.
- the two legs 7, 8 of the angle lever 6 are connected by means of a pin 10 which the elongated hole 9th reaches through (Fig. 1).
- In holes in the legs 7, 8 is the Pin 10 mounted or inserted axially displaceable.
- the Pin 10 is thereby through a leg 11 of the spring 5 held stationary that he is in an annular groove-shaped recess 12 engages at one end of the pin 10.
- a second one Turn 13 is provided at the other end of pin 10.
- the indentations are 12, 13 for the positive reception of the spring leg 11 deeply inserted, with only the one inside Edge of the recess forms a flat truncated cone surface.
- the outer limits of the twists 12, 13 are radial circular ring surfaces. This results in a kind of sawtooth cross-section of the indentations, the pawl-like Act.
- Disengagement of the spring leg 11 can only done in one direction. A removal of the pin 10 or falling out, e.g. because of an axial pressure in the frame the displacement of the pin 10 is excluded. It would have the spring leg 11 using a tool the indentation 12 or 13 can be lifted.
- the feather leg 11 lies in a slot of the leg 7 and can thereby do not dodge sideways.
- the other leg of the spring 5 is supported on a housing part.
- the changeover of the trap 1 depends on the situation according to FIG. 1 off. With the help of a tool (mandrel 14, Fig. 3), the is pressed through a hole 15 in the lock cover 4, the pin 10 is shifted to the left.
- the castle ceiling 3 therefore has a bore 16 which is at least the same is large or larger than the pin cross section 10.
- Fig. 3 shows this situation. It engages under the axial force the spring leg 11 from the recess 12 on the flat Truncated cone surface rising from and at the end of moving the spring leg 11 engages in the recess 13 again.
- the spring leg 11 is in the recess 13 on the radial circular surface, so that there is a kind of pawl blocking against pushing in this direction.
- FIG. 3 now free and the entire unit (case 1 plus case shaft 2, Fig. 2) can be removed, rearranged or against a other case 1 with case shaft 2 can be exchanged.
- the aligned position of the bores 15, 16 with the pin 10 need not with the retracted position of the trap 1 open door match. Compared to the latter Position the bores 15, 16 by, for example, 5 mm be set back so that you can push the trap 1 back a little to get into the change position, in the pin 10 is aligned. This is an advantage because of the Pen 10 is therefore not accidental (e.g. by slamming the Door) overcoming the spring force in the disengaging position the trap 1 can get.
- the bores 15, 16 can also so opposite the extended position the case should be set back that the pin 18 in completely inserted state of the case 1 is aligned with these. In practice it is useful if the ejection position of the Pin 10 not by carefully inserting the latch 1 must be searched, but to do this, trap 1 only up to Push back end stop.
- the holes 15, 16 can also as slots running in the direction of insertion of the latch 1 be designed to facilitate alignment with the pin 10. Such a slot should be behind the home position start for the extended trap.
- a protruding one Pin can be reached on the drop shaft when inserting case 1 in the course of changing the case or replacing it on the angle lever 6, so that the position for pushing the pin 10 into the positive Articulated connection between angle lever 6 and drop shaft 2 results by itself.
