Kit for fixing rails (9, 11) to sleepers (1) in rail-guided carriageways, consisting of an intermediate plate (8, 33) under the rail foot, angle guide plates (6), which support the rail foot on both sides immovably against the base (2) of a groove and/or a shoulder (3) on the sleeper, clamping grips (7, 23), which push the rail foot down resiliently between the guide plates, and rail fixing screws (5), which may be anchored in dowels (4) in the sleeper, in order to hold the guide plates and clamps immovably on the sleeper, the kit permitting the use of at least two rail types (9, 11) with a different width of foot (10 or 12) but the same track width on a sleeper,
      wherein the dowels (4) for the rail fixing screws (5) in the sleeper (1) are disposed in a position which corresponds to the reference position for the position of the angle guide plates (6) as a lateral abutment for the rail type (9) with the widest rail foot (10),
      wherein the kit further comprises spacer blocks (21, 22) with which, when the rail type (11) having a narrower rail foot (12) with the same track width is used, wider joints (13, 14) arising between the rail foot and the angle guide plates (6) can be non-positively closed and
      wherein the clamping grips (23) overlap the spacer blocks (21, 22) in the fitted state and hold down the foot (12) of the rail (11).
    3. Kit according to claim 2, characterised in that the intermediate plate (8) is so formed that it extends as far as the angle guide plates (6).
    4. Kit according to claim 3, characterised in that the spacer blocks (21, 22) may be adhered to the intermediate plate (8).
    5. Kit according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the spacer blocks (15, 18 and 21, 22 and 31, 32 respectively) are joined one below another in an assembly frame and have bolts (41 and 42 respectively) extending perpendicular to the sleeper axis in the joints (13, 14) and bolts (43) extending on the outside next to the sleeper, wherein the bolts (41, 42) extending perpendicular to the sleeper axis extend over the sleeper or intermediate plate surface and the bolts (43) parallel to the sleeper axis extend under the rail foot sole.
    6. Kit according to one of claims 2 to 4, characterised in that the spacer blocks (21, 22 and 31, 32 respectively) form with the intermediate plate (8 and 33 respectively) an assembled unit which can be used as a whole.
    7. Kit according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the material of the spacer blocks is steel.
    8. Kit according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the material of the spacer blocks is a suitable plastics material, e.g. polyurethane.
