Definitions

  • the invention relates to an album sheet for recording at least one flat Object on at least one side, consisting of a rectangular base, one of which has a longitudinal edge as a binding edge, and at least one pair of parallel strips that have the length of the longitudinal edges of the pad and that with the Base parallel to their longitudinal edges and connected to each other facing edges have an unconnected area, the distance of the mutually facing edges of the strips is smaller than the dimension of the object to be picked up in one direction, the distance between the Longitudinal connections of a pair of strips with the base is slightly larger than that Dimension of the object to be picked up in one direction, the base from Cardboard is made and the strips are connected to the base by gluing.
  • Such an album sheet is known from GB-A-1 252 752.
  • Album sheets of this type are bound into albums and for taking photographs, Business cards, check cards and phone cards, coins or other flat, uniform-sized cards Objects used.
  • the album sheets consist of a base, preferably a transparent film Provide with welded or glued plastic strips for pocket formation becomes.
  • the photos are simply placed under the with two opposite edges Strip edges clamped.
  • a plastic base is very flexible and therefore only for taking photos suitable to a limited extent, especially not for holding firmer objects. Besides, it is not very handsome, so buyers buy albums with cardboard sheets as a base to be favoured.
  • album sheets known from DE-GM 94 20 289 are, on the other hand, technologically much easier to manufacture. They consist of a cardboard base with an upper, transparent layer is glued. It happens but due to the different material properties under the influence of changing temperatures and air humidity easy to ripple or peel.
  • album sheets that are as exclusive as possible can be made from cardboard.
  • album sheets are e.g. in the form of cardboard sheets known, which are provided with slots in which the four Corners of a photo can be inserted.
  • Such album sheets can only be loaded on one side, so that the same Number of sheets only half of the photos are taken can accommodate that in the album as described above unless the photos are on the front and back offset against each other, which then but inserted corners of the respective back visible become.
  • the photo becomes an octagonal picture, so that the optical quality of the photo decreases when you look at the album.
  • Album sheets in the manner of passes-partouts are also known, e.g. from DE-GM 7 147 573, where a cardboard underlay on both sides with another, with image sections provided cardboard sheet is glued so that insert pockets for photos are created.
  • the solution has the disadvantage that with high technological effort, the image sections are first have to be punched out. In addition, large quantities do not arise usable sections for the picture window.
  • the invention has for its object an album sheet of the type mentioned specify that is technologically easy to manufacture and use only allowed by cardboard.
  • the object is achieved in that the strips consist of cardboard and along their mutually facing edges by inserting a fold line the surface of the strips have an upward curved edge.
  • the album pages can be technologically easily processed in a continuous process produce.
  • the pad is pulled off an endless roll and can be done in the simplest Case should only be provided with longitudinal glue straps on which the cardboard strips applied and glued to the base.
  • the strips in the Manufacturing process from one edge or both edges of the underlay in one continuous process can be cut. If necessary, the strips can be made of thinner Cardboard as the cardboard of the pad consist to limit the thickness of the album to keep. Common dispersion adhesives or hot-melt adhesives are used as adhesives suitable. Then the individual sheets are separated.
  • the album pages also have a visually pleasing picture of the Strip edges on.
  • the adjacent ones can be used Strips of adjacent pairs of strips can be combined into one strip.
  • Objects can additionally be provided with a form fit, by at least one strip of a pair of strips at least at its end areas in the area of each other facing edges via additional connections with the Document is connected, similar to that from DE-GM 1 962 521 is already known.
  • connections are provided, the distances from each other adapted to the dimensions of the object to be recorded are. The objects are then small on both sides Bags captively tight. A is preferred Mirror-symmetrical arrangement of the connections selected.
  • the object to be recorded i.e. photographs, telephone cards etc. are simply on both sides in the gap between Strip and pad inserted and jammed there held.
  • the clamping force is sufficient to light objects keep captive.
  • both sides of the documents stripes applied at the same time are also three or more Stripes can be applied to each side by several juxtaposed rows for those to be recorded To form objects.
  • the glue pattern can be analogous to that Gravure printing, possibly also by means of flexographic printing, be applied with a pressure roller.
  • Gravure printing possibly also by means of flexographic printing, be applied with a pressure roller.
  • the Separation into individual album sheets after the application of the Stripes must then be done in such a way that always the same Pocket pattern is created.
  • Gluing can also be used to form pockets by means of nozzle application respectively.
  • One nozzle is used continuously a glue application for the longitudinal glue lines.
  • the glue application for the additional, transverse to the direction of flow of the cardboard web trending connections happens through additional nozzles that are intermittent each only place a glue point in the designated places. In the places where the separation into single sheets takes place, two glue points are immediately one after the other set so that the separation between the two glue points can take place and then one glue point belongs to the end area of a sheet.
  • This technology has the advantage that the glue pattern for changed formats easily vary, since only the timing of the additional nozzles and / or their distance must be changed from each other.
  • the longitudinal edge can additionally be wrapped around the edge and fold strips glued or welded on all sides, e.g. one made of plastic existing binding tape as a decorative tape or as edge protection.
  • a margin remains for bookbinding purposes.
  • a labeling strip can be provided, which if necessary also with can be printed in a line pattern or in another way, what in the continuous printing process is possible.
  • the individual album sheets are bound into an album, whereby between the album sheets in the usual way, glassine sheets or transparencies can be inserted.
  • Fig. 1 shows a cardboard base 1 of an inventive Album sheet with two glue lines 3 along or parallel to the longitudinal edges of the cardboard base 1 and from it starting with additional glue noses 4 glued to each other are directed.
  • Fig. 2 shows the complete album sheet.
  • a paper strip 5 to form a connecting seam 2 applied.
  • the paper strip 5 on the outside Longitudinal edge of the cardboard base 1 can be placed around the edge and be glued in an analogous manner on the back. On this way, at the same time, a clean sheet edge guaranteed.
  • the second strip is flush with the Glue line 3 from.
  • the glue noses 4 are applied at a distance that is slightly larger than the width of a picture Photos 6, while the distance between the paper strips 5 is held so that it is slightly smaller than the length of the photo is 6. This way two will be opposite Pockets formed which together form an insert pocket result.
  • the photos 6 are with their sides in the pockets inserted and then lie in all directions captive tight.
  • the length of the glue lugs 4 is shorter than the width of the paper strips 5 in order to be able to back out when inserting the photos 6 to allow the paper strips 5 and the adhesive edges not to burden the glue noses 4 with this rear grip.
  • the glue noses 4 there, however, executed somewhat longer than the others in the middle of the album sheet.
  • Fig. 3 shows the cardboard base 1 in the manufacturing phase of the album sheet.
  • the carton is in as continuous material subtracted from a roll in the direction of the arrow and by means of a process similar to gravure printing or by means of nozzle application glued with glue lines 3.
  • Labeling strip 8 printed and there will be the fold lines introduced at the edge 7.
  • Paper strips 5 are also as continuous material in front. They are guided flush over the glue lines 3 and by means of pressure rollers with the cardboard underlay with formation connected by connecting seams 2.
  • the paper strip 5 am outer edge. the cardboard pad 1 can, as already said, folded around the edge of the cardboard base 1 and then glued to it.
  • Fig. 7 a variant of this measure is shown, the has the same effect.
  • the paper strip 5 is before gluing to the cardboard base 1 a web 11 is crimped.
  • the web 11 causes the paper strips get 5 rounded edges, which also stand up slightly so that the objects to be brought in slide under the edges without underneath the strip edges Need to become.
