Während die Isoliermittel dazu dienen, im Wege einer Wärmedämmung funktionsstörende Deformationen im Bereich der sphärischen Gelenklager und auch der Zylinderkolbenanordnungen zu vermeiden, ermöglichen die sphärischen Gelenklager eine drehpunktartige Abstützung der Zylinderkolbenanordnungen dahingehend, daß sich beliebige und kontinuierliche Biegelinien in bezug auf die obere und/oder untere Einlaufplatte derart einstellen lassen, daß die Einlaufkontur in Anpassung an die jeweiligen betrieblichen Verhältnisse jeden erforderlichen Biegeradius annehmen kann und folglich ein vollvariabler Presseneinlauf zur Verfügung steht, um selbst extrem dünne Preßgutmatten von beipielsweise lediglich 3 mm maßgerecht und ohne Mattenabriß herstellen zu können.
