Definitions
- the invention relates to an adjustable hinge for doors or windows according to the preamble of claim 1 or claim 2.
- Such adjustable hinges are known for example from the Applicant's EP 0 460 620 B1.
- the hinge described here is in the axially open, cylindrical bearing of the frame hinge part Inserted plastic sleeve, in which the lower hinge pin section rotatable is held.
- the threaded plug is in one with the pin bearing Aligned internal thread section can be screwed in and lifts for height adjustment of the hinge on the plastic sleeve.
- spacers can be closed of this gap.
- the load of the wing hinge part weight is held over its contact surfaces on the sliding flange the plastic sleeve.
- Front door frames are used in addition to the height adjustment over the threaded plug via an adjustment device in the wing hinge part, which enables transverse adjustment in the sash level. Furthermore can a contact pressure adjustment, i.e. an adjustment of the distance of the Sash level to the frame level with the sash closed.
- the hinge according to the prior art mentioned can alternatively with a single, lower journal bearing or with a lower and an upper journal bearing.
- a simple hinge with an underlying Pin bearing enforced.
- the known door hinges usually have a permanent smoothness on. In contrast, it is due to the in the relatively soft plastic sleeve held rotatable hinge portion difficult, a vertical Alignment of the hinge pin in the storage of the frame hinge part guarantee.
- the fairly soft plastic material tends due to the one-sided load due to the weight of the attached to the wing hinge part Wing and due to the repeated rotary movement of the hinge pin in the plastic sleeve to deform, causing an oblique position the hinge pin axis to the axis of the sleeve. Furthermore result from the axial support of the lower surface of the Wing band on the sliding surface of the plastic sleeve abrasion, which a Contamination of the ligament in the vicinity of the mutually movable Cause contact surfaces.
- a height-adjustable joint band is known from EP 0 065 215 A1, in which the hinge pin of the wing hinge part over a loosely inserted Ball on a threaded plug that can be screwed into the frame hinge part supported.
- the support surface of the hinge pin opposite the ball is just formed so that the pin end relative to the ball in radial Direction is freely movable.
- German utility model 1 815 348 is a height-adjustable hinge known in which the each other opposite end faces of the hinge pin and the threaded plug are bowl-shaped and a ball between the two elements is joined. Both the pin and the threaded plug grip one quite large cap section of the ball. To clamp the ball in the to prevent cupped shots and the smooth running of these To ensure ball bearings, there must be considerable play in radial Direction between the bowl-shaped receiving surface and the ball be provided.
- the object of the present invention is the permanent and accurate To improve the retention of the hinge pin in the frame hinge part.
- the invention essentially from the fact that the hinge pin and Threaded plugs in the axial direction directly via interacting Support the support surfaces against each other, one of the two Support surfaces a convex, rotationally symmetrical to the longitudinal axis of the hinge pin Has shape and wherein the second support surface is a concave Has shape and with an annular contact area against the convex support surface.
- the cylindrical bearing of the frame hinge part is at least the said preferably metallic Bearing sleeve arranged with self-lubricating properties.
- the hinge pin with respect to the Centered threaded plug.
- the spherical support surface is more integral Part of one of the two mutually supporting elements (Hinge pin or threaded plug), and the concave support surface lies with an annular area against the spherical support surface, which necessarily have a distance from the horizontally running vertex got to.
- the spherical support surface is horizontal Inclined direction so that the vertical weight that the Compressed support surfaces, is deflected into a due to the inclination radial holding force that aligns the support surfaces to each other.
- a radial one Play can only occur in the cylindrical bearing of the hinge pin.
- a fixed metallic bearing sleeve in which the lower section of the hinge pin is performed, it is achieved that a defined storage of non-deformable Material (metal) guides the hinge pin in the frame hinge part.
- a such pin receptacle can with very well known from mechanical engineering low tolerances for self-lubricating plain bearings.
- a pivoting of the pin axis to the axis of the storage of the frame hinge part is in addition to the centering effect of the support surfaces largely restricted.
- There are low-friction metal bearings for door hinges e.g. known from DE 85 17 909 U, page 4, lines 13-16, however never with a self-centering bearing of the hinge pin tip.
- the concave support surface is preferably in the form of a conical recess educated. But it can also be provided a blind hole, the edge forms the support surface and is provided with a radius or a chamfer. The edge of the blind hole must be smaller than the ball diameter.
- the hinge pin does not have a height-adjustable sleeve is mounted, the axial support force must be on others Be introduced into the frame hinge part. This happens - as above mentioned - by direct support on the threaded plug over the on the one hand spherical and on the other hand concave, preferably conical Support surface.
- the concave formation of those interacting with the ball Support surface has two reasons. First of all, it is common with metallic Material pairings difficult to form a permanent point storage, supporting the weight held by the wing hinge part allows simultaneous rotation of the hinge pin. If the spherical Only support the support surface in a punctiform manner on a flat support surface, there is a risk that in the contact point after several thousand rotations break out material particles from the hinge pin.
- the main function of the concave formation of the opposite The supporting surface is the centering effect mentioned above.
- the spherical support surface by pressing a ball into the threaded plug realized.
- the concave section resting on this ball the lower end face of the hinge pin is centered due to that of the Wing band part of weight carried even on this ball.
- the possible Swiveling the axis of the hinge pin to the axis of the bearing in Frame hinge part (tilting of the hinge pin) is through this centering the lower support surface of the hinge pin is reduced.
- the spherical surface can also as a section, preferably as a hemisphere, directly to one the elements that support each other (hinge pins or threaded plugs) be molded on.
- the support according to the invention by the Wing hinge part of the absorbed weight within the hinge pin bearing of the frame hinge part avoided a visible contact and support surface which could form traces of abrasion or movement, which the would impair the visual appearance of the wrist band.
- the upper metallic bearing sleeve preferably has a radial shape extending collar on that on the peripheral surface around the upper opening the cylindrical bearing lies around.
- bearing sleeves mentioned sintered bearings can be used.
- Bearing sleeves made of steel which are coated with a polytetrafluoroethylene, e.g. sold under the brand TEFLON are coated.
- the upper hinge pin section is preferred held in a plastic sleeve made of fiber-reinforced plastic.
- This plastic sleeve is inserted in a receptacle of the wing hinge part. It can be designed as an eccentric sleeve, which means the distance of the plane of the closed wing to the level of the frame is adjustable.
- the plastic sleeve preferably has an axial extension, which extends extends below the receptacle of the wing hinge part and into a recess protrudes above the storage of the frame hinge part. This Extension ensures emergency storage during assembly or disassembly and an emergency stop of the two band parts to each other, as long as no hinge pin is inserted into the two parts of the band.
- the plastic sleeve is firmly in the Admission of the wing hinge part is held and is in the absence of hinge pin due to the weight of the wing down into the recess of the Frame hinge part pressed.
- the lower end face of her is supported there axial extension preferably on the radial collar of the upper metallic Bearing sleeve.
- the wing hinge part can only be completely removed from the The frame hinge part can be released if the sash counteracts its weight is moved up until the axial extension no longer in the Recess of the frame hinge part protrudes. This measure enables it to a single fitter, one with the corresponding hinge parts fitted door.
- First the door leaf is pre-assembled in such a way that the axial extensions of the plastic sleeves on the wing band parts protrude into the recesses above the mounting of the frame hinge parts. Then the hinge pins for all hinges of the door inserted, whereby the tape parts are aligned with each other.
- This extension also significantly increases the security against burglary. It is at this hinge is not possible, the band parts by violent knocking the hinge pin with the door closed.
- the wing hinge part is through the axial extension, which in the recess of the frame hinge part protrudes, held. A lift to loosen the Hinge parts are impossible with the sash closed.
- the axial extension has an optical function, since it unobstructed view of the hinge pin when the threaded plug is raised Hinged hinge part covered.
- the axial extension on his Be provided with annular markings on the outer surface. When lifting of the wing hinge part moves by screwing in the threaded plug the axial extension upwards, so that with this movement the annular markings become visible. Based on the markings determine the axial adjustment position of the hinge.
- the weight of the wing is preferably supported by a radial shoulder the plastic sleeve on this.
- the weight transfer from the plastic sleeve to the hinge pin can be done over the upper end face on which a closed the upper end area of the plastic sleeve rests. In this case, however the weight over almost the entire length of the plastic sleeve initiated, which can lead to quite a large stretch. That’s why alternatively, the plastic sleeve can be provided with a stop that is axially based on a complementary stop of the hinge pin. This interacting stops are preferred by radial shoulders or flange surfaces of the components.
- the hinge pin can e.g. a have radial shoulder on which the lower end face of the plastic sleeve supported.
- the power of transfer the wing hinge part to the hinge pin via a metal ring become.
- This metal ring is pushed onto the hinge pin.
- the metal ring is positively fixed in the axial direction, in particular with the help of a tongue and groove connection.
- the metal ring is positively fixed in the axial direction, in particular with the help of a tongue and groove connection.
- the metal ring is positively fixed in the axial direction, in particular with the help of a tongue and groove connection.
- the hinge pins are one or several grooves are preferably molded in the extrusion process.
- complementary springs radially inwards protruding ribs
- the metal ring preferably has an upper sleeve section which is in the plastic sleeve protrudes into the wing hinge part, and the metal ring also extends axially at least partially below the receptacle of the wing hinge part, so that it axially from the contour of the wing hinge part protrudes.
- This protruding section of the metal ring lies with the assembled hinge within the recess above the bearing of the frame hinge part, so that the auxiliary storage described above can take removed hinge pin.
- the recess of the wing hinge part should be at the top Cover plugs are closed to open cavities that are aesthetic act disadvantageously and in which dirt can accumulate, to avoid.
- Frame hinge part 1 consists of a frame hinge part 1, which via trunnion 2 and several screw holes 3 on a frame can be attached for a door or a window. It also includes a Wing hinge part 4, which with a multi-part mounting plate 5 on the Wing of a door or window is screwed. Frame hinge part 1 and wing hinge part 4 are connected to one another via the hinge pin 6, which in the present case as continuous, in both parts of the band 1.4 held pin is formed. Within the mounting plate 5 is one Adjustment device arranged, which allows the distance of the Wing to the axis of the hinge pin 6 in the transverse direction, i.e. in the illustration to vary in Fig. 1 in the horizontal direction. Such devices are known and need not be explained further here.
- the hinge pin storage according to the invention can be particularly in the recognize enlarged representation of FIG. 2.
- Inside a cylindrical Storage 7 of the frame hinge part 1 are two self-lubricating bearing sleeves 8.9 arranged. Both bearing sleeves 8.9 are made of steel and have one Coating with polytetrafluoroethylene on the inside, which makes them maintain self-lubricating properties.
- the hinge pin 6 is guided essentially free of play.
- the spherical support surface 11 is formed by a steel ball pressed into the threaded plug 12.
- this has a socket wrench holder 14 to hold a hex key.
- the lower support surface 10 of the hinge pin 6 has a conical shape Recess 32, which is annular against the spherical support surface 11 of the threaded plug 12 rests.
- the hinge pin 6 is in the wing hinge part 4 in a glass fiber reinforced Plastic sleeve 15 held in a receptacle 16 of the wing hinge part 4th is inserted.
- the upper opening of the receptacle 16 is with a cover plug 17 closed.
- the transfer of the weight from the wing hinge part 4 to the Hinge pin 6 takes place with the help of a metal ring 18, which extends over a radial shoulder 19, in the present case a flange surface, of the plastic sleeve 15 against the peripheral surface around the lower opening of the receptacle 16 of the wing hinge part 4 supports.
- the metal ring 18 is in turn arranged stationary on the hinge pin 6. This connection goes in particular 5, 6 and 9. 5 and 6 show the upper portion of the hinge pin 6 three evenly on its circumference distributed grooves 20.
- the metal ring 18 has complementary on its inside Springs 21, i.e. ribs protruding inwards, which extend into the Protrude grooves 20 of the hinge pin 6.
- a spring 21 of the metal ring 18 can be seen in Fig. 1 in the sectional view.
- the spring 21 is supported in the end region 22 (cf. FIG. 5) of the groove in the axial direction, see above that they prevent the hinge pin 6 from moving upward relative to that Metal ring 18 and the wing band part 4 supporting the metal ring 18 prevented.
- the plastic sleeve 15 is designed as an eccentric sleeve, which an adjustment the distance from the sash level to the distance from the frame level closed door or window. Even the plastic sleeve 15 has rib-shaped springs 29, which in the grooves 20 of the Insert hinge pin 6. In this way, the hinge pin becomes non-rotatable within the plastic sleeve 15 and thus within the receptacle 16 of the Wing hinge part 4 held.
- the metal ring 18 has an upper sleeve portion 23 which in the Plastic sleeve 15 protrudes. So a firm connection between the Plastic sleeve 15 and the metal ring 18 causes, even if none Hinge pin 6 is inserted into the hinge. Furthermore, the lower one Section of the metal ring 18 an axial extension 24 of the wing hinge part 4.
