Abstract

Bei einem Empfänger für digital codierte Meldungen, insbesondere Verkehrsmeldungen, mit einem Speicher für die empfangenen Meldungen und mit Eintragungen zum Decodieren und Verwalten der empfangenen Meldungen, wobei zum Decodieren jeweils eine Ortstabelle erforderlich ist, sind Umschalteinrichtungen zum Umschalten des Empfangs auf verschiedene Informationsquellen vorgesehen. Vorzugsweise wird vor dem Umschalten auf eine andere Informationsquelle geprüft, ob die von der anderen Informationsquelle zur Codierung benutzte Ortstabelle im Empfänger verfügbar ist. Zutreffendenfalls werden die zuvor gespeicherten Meldungen gelöscht und die Umschaltung wird ausgeführt.
