  2. Dispenser according to the preceding claim, characterised in that the radial enlargement (36) extends axially over a length smaller than the axial dimension of the roll (11).
  3. Dispenser according to any of claims 1 or 2, characterised in that the radial enlargement (36) is arranged axially substantially in the centre of the roll when the roll is engaged in the unwinding position (11D) on the support rod (14).
  4. Dispenser according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the variation in section of the support rod (14) due to the radial enlargement (36) is continuous.
  5. Dispenser according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the radial enlargement (36) extends round the axis (A1) over an angle smaller than 180°.
  6. Dispenser according to the preceding claim, characterised in that the radial enlargement (36) is arranged angularly on the support rod (14) in a direction substantially opposed to the general direction in which the web of material is dispensed.
  7. Dispenser according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the roll is gripped axially by deceleration means against a transverse surface (50) for axial locking.
  8. Dispenser according to the preceding claim, characterised in that the deceleration means comprise a non-rotatable contact lug (52) which slides axially in the dispenser and in that the contact lug is stressed against a transverse face (54) of the roll by elastic means (64).
  9. Dispenser according to the preceding claim, characterised in that the contact lug extends radially relative to the rod so as to cooperate with the transverse face of the roll over the entire length of a radius of the roll.
  10. Dispenser according to the preceding claim, characterised in that the contact lug cooperates with the transverse face of the roll over the entire length of a diameter of the roll.
  11. Dispenser according to any one of claims 8 to 10, characterised in that the contact lug is non-rotatable relative to the rod.
  12. Dispenser according to any of claims 8 to 11, characterised in that the contact lug is produced in the form of a plate (52) which is lengthened along a diameter of the roll and slides along the support rod and in that the plate comprises, at each of its ends, a guide tab (58) which extends axially and is received in an aperture provided in a fixed guard plate (62) extending transversely in the dispenser.
  13. Dispenser according to the preceding claim, characterised in that the guard plate is integral with the support rod.
  14. Dispenser according to either of claims 11 or 12, characterised in that a spring (64) is interposed between the guard plate and the deceleration lug and causes the deceleration lug to rest axially against the roll.
  15. Dispenser according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the means for locking the roll in the axial direction comprise a truncated cone-shaped boss (48) having the same axis (A1) as the support rod (14), the base (50) of which forms a transverse surface for axial locking of the roll in one direction and the conical surface of which facilitates positioning of the roll by axial sliding of the roll on the rod (14) toward its unwinding position.
  16. Dispenser according to claim 15 taken in combination with any of claims 7 to 14, characterised in that the deceleration means grip the roll axially against the base (50) of the truncated cone-shaped boss (48).
  17. Dispenser according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the support rod (14) comprises a T-shaped end (22, 42) intended to be engaged in a corresponding duct (28) of the dispenser (10) so as to fix the rod (14) removably in the dispenser (10) and to prevent the rotation of the rod (14) round its axis (A1).
  18. Dispenser according to the preceding claim, characterised in that the T-shaped end of the support rod is produced in the form of an independent part (42) attached to the rod (14).
  19. Dispenser according to either of claims 17 or 18 taken in combination with any of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the means for locking the roll (11D) in the axial direction comprise a transverse washer (46) which is arranged between the T-shaped end (22, 42) and the rod (14).
