Claims (11)

  1. Simultaneous dispensing and cutting unit for strips of rolled up material including a support and protective casing (1), an arm (3) supporting a roll (5) of a strip of rolled up material and hinged so as to allow for the support of the roll (5) on a drum (8) turned by the effect of manual pulling on the free end of the strip of material, the said drum (8) being mounted on support means fixed to the protective casing (1) and including a cutting device, the said drum (8) being made up of a closed cylinder with a transversal slot (8.8) for the cutting blade (9) of this cutting device to pass, and the said drum (8) having a gripping external surface, wherein the drum (8) has, on part of its periphery, upstream to the transversal slot (8.8), either side of a continuous peripheral central band (8.3) defining the continuity of the cylinder and delimited by the side ends (8.6) of the drum (8), profiled recesses or openings (8.1, 8.2) made out on a determined segment or peripheral plane and providing the orientation and engagement of corresponding parts of the strip of material, in the event of angular pulling of the end of the strip of material or paper by the user, not in compliance with normal pulling defined in the front extension of the unit.
  2. Unit according to claim 1, wherein the recesses or openings (8.1, 8.2) are made out on only one part of the periphery of the drum (8) thereby leaving a solid zone (8.4) arranged to have a self-gripping external surface.
  3. Unit according to claim 2, wherein this solid zone (8.4) of the drum (8) comes along the adjacent edge of the transversal slot (8.8).
  4. Unit according to claim 1, wherein the central band (8.3) is arranged with a self-gripping external surface.
  5. Unit according to any one of claims 1 to 4, wherein a profile for connection (8.5) of the openings or recesses (8.1, 8.2) with the solid part of the drum (8) is made to ensure progressive and continuous guiding of the strip of material and a potential support zone.
  6. Unit according to claim 5, wherein the openings or recesses (8,1, 8,2) have, in a transversal manner, a degressive profile from the inside to the outside to accompany the unrolling of the strip of material.
  7. Unit according to any one of claims 5 and 6, wherein the profile for connection (8.5) of the openings or recesses (8.1, 8.2) with the solid part of the drum (8) is internally sloped, by approximately 45° and is made over all or part of each side end of the central band (8.3).
  8. Unit according to any one of claims 1 to 7, wherein the openings or recesses (8.1, 8.2) are arranged upstream to the cutting device.
  9. Unit according to any one of claims 1 to 8, wherein the cutting device is capable of withdrawing.
  10. Unit according to any one of claims 1 to 8, wherein the cutting device is in a fixed position.
  11. Unit according to claim 1, wherein the drum (8) has, between its side ends (8.6), one or several stiffening bracing strips.
