Definitions
- the invention relates to a portable lamp, in particular a rod-shaped flashlight with one arranged in the hollow reflector Radiation source.
- the located in the lamp head Reflector with respect to the near the reflector focus arranged radiation source, a light bulb, longitudinally axial is movable.
- the shift can either be via a longitudinal axial guidance through a translatory Pushing movement or by a rotary movement in which the reflector foot according to the thread pitch through the Rotation can be moved to a certain extent.
- the one with this relative Distance shift between the reflector and the light bulb achievable effect is a change in the radiated Light cone shape.
- Most of the time is in the attack limited limit position a light beam of essentially parallel beams of light for remote illumination or radiation a cone of light with a large cone angle to wide-angle Close illumination reached.
- Flashlights of the type mentioned are mostly small Batteries supplied with voltage, the interior of the housing has appropriately trained battery receptacles.
- hand lamps are also known, which have an external Power supply, e.g. via a car battery, the voltage of which is arranged in a car interior Can be tapped, which is usually used to hold a so-called cigarette lighter serves.
- a flashlight is used in US Pat. No. 5,077,644 described the two separate light sources with two each assigned separate reflectors.
- the two lightbulbs as light sources can be turned on and off separately be, each by the shape of the reflectors different light cones can be emitted.
- Disadvantageous is the complex structure with two reflectors and the one made of them resulting fact that the light cone in different Directions are emitted. This results in a awkward handling of this flashlight.
- the flashlight described in US 4,788,633 has in the cavity formed by a reflector on two light bulbs, of which an incandescent lamp shines the light on an upper partial reflector emits and the other, oppositely directed light bulb the light onto a separately arranged lower partial reflector emits. Due to the limited reflector area only an unsatisfactory light output is achieved.
- US 4,783,735 describes a flashlight with a reflector and two arranged here in different locations Light bulbs, light-emitting diodes or laser diodes, through the shadow effects, as they occur with just one light bulb should be.
- Two or more filaments or light-emitting glow bodies assume that these are in different locations in the hollow reflector must be arranged.
- This in turn means that the sent to a point of the reflector, of different Filaments of light coming in under different sizes Incidence angles hit, which also corresponds to the associated Angle of incidence equal reflection angles in different Dimension results.
- By choosing the location for the different Filaments can thus generate different cones of light.
- this means that a filament is arranged in the focal point of the hollow reflector, so that the one emitted sideways and backwards and the hollow reflector reflected light to a substantially parallel Beam of light is reflected.
- the second existing Depending on the location, the filament will have a different light cone, e.g.
- the portable Lamp or flashlight operated in an energy-saving manner if necessary is shaped, for example, by using only a 2 W light bulb an economy circuit is operated and the second light bulb with 6 W additionally or alternatively only switched on if there is an increased illumination of the to be irradiated Object area is required.
- the advantages of the invention are even more serious Lamp with larger radiation powers of up to 60 W with a switchover to an economy circuit of 10 W. Die Burning time achievable with accumulators for a 60 W light bulb of approx. 30 min. by using the economy circuit (10 W) can be extended accordingly.
- the two filaments in a specific embodiment arranged in different levels related to a perpendicularly irradiated by all rays of the light cone Plane are arranged parallel to each other.
- the two filaments (or possibly more filaments) are related to the radiation longitudinal axis arranged "staggered".
- the focus existing light source is used to emit the essentially parallel (high) light used, the other filament for the generation of wide light cones, which due to the larger cone angle a correspondingly lower light density or have lighting intensity.
- the invention however, also includes switch-on options in which all available Filaments or e.g. two of three filaments etc. turned on are.
- the filaments are according to a further embodiment of the invention in a housing with chambers with different gas filling and / or different gas pressure arranged.
- a shading body hides certain radiation directions in the direction of the Hollow reflector, so that depending on the convex shape of the inner reflector in connection with the shading body depending on switched on filament different lighting patterns can be generated.
- a shading body there are also such understood that on the side facing the filament as Reflector are formed. Depending on the shape of the reflector surface can thereby specifically the emitted light cone to be influenced.
- Additional ones arranged in the hollow reflector interior can also be used further reflectors arranged and the existing radiation sources be assigned by this arrangement.
- two or more filaments will make the possible variations with the additional filament or filaments and any associated reflectors, shading bodies etc. significantly enlarged.
- the lack of analog setting options the lamp according to the invention is thereby more than compensated.
- the lamp body has a ring surface on which only monochrome light lets through and which is arranged at the height of a filament.
- this ring can be colored red or yellow, so that the lamp in question when only one filament is switched on, which is at the level of this ring, can be used as a warning lamp is. Possibly. can this be supported by the fact that the light bulb in question can also be switched on as a flashing light.
- the hollow reflector can also be designed with parabolic mirrors.
- the lamp has Lamp outer sheath at least two light-emitting diodes, which is expedient are arranged diametrically on the lamp housing. At three LEDs have an angular distance of 120 °.
- the LEDs fulfill the task of being switched off Lamp that has been put down in the dark when on LEDs are immediately recognizable.
- the LEDs can be used minimum current are operated, thus burden the lamp battery a portable lamp not or only insignificantly. A such a portable lamp is for hunters, fishermen or other people, who have to perform certain manipulations in the dark, for what the lamp should be put down, helpful.
- one of the filaments it is also possible to completely or partially one of the filaments to be surrounded by a color filter, so that accordingly monochrome light is emitted. In the case of using Different light bulbs with one filament each can do this can be achieved by coloring the vitreous.
- the flashlight is preferably designed as a flashlight, i.e. it has a rod-shaped housing and a lamp head. Between the flashlight has a concave neck in these parts, in which the necessary to operate the filament Switches are arranged. This is preferably the case pressure switches that are operated individually or together can. Accidental switching on when you put the Flashlight is effectively prevented because of the pressure switch lie protected in a "hollow".
- the flashlight shown in Figs. 1 to 3 each has a rod-shaped lamp body 20 with a lamp head 21 and a reflector 22, the front through a glass plate is covered.
- the flashlight Fig. 1 uses a light bulb, which two filaments 23 and 24, which are arranged in different planes, which are parallel to the front cover plate by is shone through all light cone bundles.
- the flashlight has an annular red colored, but light transparent Body on which is arranged approximately at the level of the filament 24 is, so that the radiation from the filament 24 laterally Light is filtered accordingly and emitted as red light becomes.
- the filament is 24 arranged outside the reflector 22 so that its light only is emitted to the side through said ring 25.
- the embodiment of Fig. 2 has a light bulb that also has two filaments 23 and 24, but are here both filaments within the interior of the reflector 22 in arranged on different levels, so that by the Filaments 23 and 24 emitted light on the inside of the reflector reflected at different angles of reflection which results in different beam cones.
- the filaments 23 and 24 are via switches 18 and 19 separately switchable, i.e. it can either be one of the filaments alone or both filaments can be switched on if necessary become.
- a Changeover switch provided for a temporarily limited changeover be, both for a one-time switching and for one Switch intermittent alternating light.
- LED 3 has on the lamp head outer jacket three LEDs 26, which can be switched to continuous operation. These light-emitting diodes enable immediate recognition of the Flashlight switched off in the dark.
- FIG. 4 shows a light bulb with a Glass body 27, plug contacts 28 and a base 29.
- Die Filaments 30 and 31 are arranged "staggered” and have different power consumption, e.g. 10 W and 2 W.
- Incandescent filaments 32 and 33 are parallel to each other arranged as seen from the top view of FIG. 14 can be seen.
- the different power consumption have, namely a saving coil 34 that only with 1 W radiates, as well as other coils, whose power consumption is 6 W or 10 W and due to the different light cones be generated.
- the filaments 45 and 46 are supplied with voltages.
- the shape of the reflector 44 can be flat, curved, faceted or depending on the desired reflection pattern.
- Fig. 10 shows a halogen lamp with plug contacts 47, the Lamp body 48 is filled with halogen gas.
- Filaments 49 and 50 are closely spaced and have different Radiation absorption power.
- the example of the light bulbs 51 according to FIG. 12 and the light bulb 13 is to clarify that the glass interior, in which the filaments are located, either in the form of a Single-chamber training with only one gas filling or as a two-chamber system 52, 53 formed with different gas fillings can be.
- 14 and 15 show top views of light bulbs with two filaments 32, 33 or three coils 54 to 56, which are here side by side are arranged, both arrangements in one plane as staggered in different levels are also possible.
- the advantage of multi-filament light bulbs is that that if one filament fails, the lamp still over the second or third filament is functional.
- the different Incandescent filaments leave different light outputs blast, if necessary to adjust the power consumption to the need.
- the switch on the flashlights enables both a quasi point illumination and the generation a broad cone of light without, as in the case of the Embodiments known in the art, in cumbersome Way on the reflector head must be rotated or pushed.
- a particular advantage results from the fact that the flashlight housing as a one-piece casting, e.g. also in cylindrical form, i.e. without a separate lamp head can. This significantly reduces production costs.
- the convenient one-handed operation which is lightning fast Switching from close-up to long-range illumination enabled.
- Lamps that are colloquially referred to as "Light cannons" are called.
- Such lamps have one Radiant power of 55 W or 60 W.
- Possibility to switch to a second filament with a Power consumption of 10 W ensures that the lifespan the accumulators can be extended considerably because of the powerful The filament is only switched on for a short time if required , i.e. if the lighting is up to 3 km long is wanted. In normal cases, however, the economy circuit is sufficient which is a 10 W filament with a correspondingly lower one Headlight range is switched on.
- the present invention also includes such Embodiments with 3 or more filaments, that is Switching options of 60 W radiation power from alternative 10 radiant power or 6 W radiant power, depending on what light intensity is desired.
