Die entsprechenden Steuerbefehle werden von der Ablaufsteuerung 8 über die Leitungen 15 und 16 signalübertragend dem Rotations-Kantendreher 18 bzw. der Aufdrehvorrichtung 5 erteilt.

Claims (14)

  1. Method for obtaining pure weft waste from catch selvedges (1), which are formed during production of a cloth (2) on looms, in which method the catch selvedges (1) consist of the ends (3a) of weft threads (3) interlaced in the cloth (2) and of two leno threads (4) drawn from leno thread bobbins (12), which leno threads form a full-cross leno weave (1a) through use of a rotary leno mechanism (18) guiding the leno threads and having at least one rotary element (18a) reversible in its direction of rotation, and in which method the catch selvedges (1) are separated from the cloth (2) after their formation, the full-cross leno weaves (1a) being untwisted after separation of the catch edge (1) from the cloth (2), and the weft thread ends (3a) and the leno threads (4) then being separately removed, characterised in that removal or collection of the weft thread ends (3a) is performed in dependence on a weft thread selection program on which the weaving process in a loom control system is based.
  2. Method according to claim 1, characterised in that untwisting of the full-cross leno weaves is effected synchronously with their production.
  3. Method according to claim 1, characterised in that untwisting of the full-cross leno weaves is effected asynchronously with their production.
  4. Method according to claim 1, characterised in that the weft thread ends are sorted and collected in accordance with material type.
  5. Method according to claim 1, characterised in that the leno threads are conveyed to separate collecting means.
  6. Method according to claim 4, characterised in that sorting and collection of the weft thread ends is mechanized and controlled.
  7. Apparatus for implementing the method according to claim 1, comprising
    a) a sequence control means (8),
    b) a device (5) arranged as a linear continuation of the catch selvedge (1) for untwisting the full-cross leno weave (1a),
    c) a removal arrangement (6) interposed between the device (5) and the catch selvedge (1) and
    d) a drawing-off device (7) for the leno threads (4) arranged downstream of the device (5),
    characterised in that the removal arrangement (6) comprises a plurality of collecting containers (6b) mounted on a turntable equipped with a rotary operating mechanism (6c), the rotary operating mechanism (6c) being connected, so as to transmit signals; with the sequence control means (8) as part of a loom control system.
  8. Apparatus according to claim 7, characterised in that the device (5) for untwisting the full-cross leno weave (1a) is a rotatably driven rotary element (5a) that guides the leno threads (4) and is reversible in its direction of rotation.
  9. Apparatus according to claim 8, characterised in that the rotary drive means (5b) of the rotary element (5a) is an electromotive external drive means.
  10. Apparatus according to claim 8, characterised in that the rotary element (5a) of the rotor is an electrically controllable servomotor.
  11. Apparatus according to claim 7, characterised in that the removal arrangement (6) comprises at least one means (6a) capturing the weft thread ends (3a) and at least one means (6b) collecting the weft thread ends (3a).
  12. Apparatus according to claim 7, characterised in that the drawing-off device (7) for the leno threads (4) comprises a pair of rollers (7a, 7b) with at least one rotatably driven roller (7a).
  13. Apparatus according to claim 12, characterised in that the rotatably driven roller (7a) is the fabric drawing-in roller of the loom and the non-rotatably driven roller (7b) is a pressure roller acting on the fabric drawing-in roller.
  14. Apparatus according to claim 7, characterised in that the drawing-off device (7) comprises a pair of rotatably driven bobbin elements arranged on a rotatably driven bobbin carrier.
