Definitions
- the invention relates to a cistern body for a cistern according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Box bodies of this type are generally known. you will be usually made of ceramic or plastic. In recent years, it has been through an improved flushing technique succeeded in the amount of water necessary for a rinse reduce significantly. Accordingly, the box bodies could be built with a smaller volume. The smaller one Interior of the box body, however, caused difficulties when accommodating the fittings, in particular the Inlet and outlet fittings. Especially with concealed cisterns this led to an elaborate and cumbersome Installation of the inlet and outlet fittings. With these cisterns these fittings must be through a front or top arranged inspection opening can be used. In addition is the depth of these cisterns is comparatively small.
- US-A-3,860,972 discloses a cistern with a Box body in which an overflow channel is integrated.
- the Box body consists of a lower and an upper Part that with buckles and sealants together are connected.
- the overflow channel is through a passage in the lower part and a tube in the upper part of the box body educated.
- the production of this box body is comparatively complex and the connection between the two parts mentioned, especially with regard to the Tightness, problematic.
- the invention has for its object a box body to create the type mentioned, the less expensive to manufacture and yet it is reliable.
- the task is according to a generic box body Characteristic of claim 1 solved.
- the box body thus forms part of the wall Inlet or drain fitting.
- This corresponding functional part is then integrated in the box body and must then of course no longer on the fitting part to be assembled to be available.
- the relocation of at least one Functional part outwards into the wall of the box body enables the production of smaller fittings that are correspondingly easier to insert into the box body.
- it is in the wall of the box body integrated functional part an overflow channel.
- the usual thing can be done with the drain fitting Overflow pipe to be replaced by a narrow rod.
- Corresponding the outer diameter of the drain fitting can be reduced become.
- a slimmer drain fitting is required less space inside the box body and can be for example through the inspection opening of a concealed cistern assemble much easier and also for revision remove. Adjustments to the Fittings easier to make.
- the relocation of the Inlet channel in the wall of the box body allows now the production of a much smaller and more compact Inlet fitting which is correspondingly easier to assemble and is to be manufactured.
- the invention enables the production of box bodies with an even smaller volume than before. With one too expected further improvement in flushing technology and thus even smaller amounts of rinse water than before can be used the invention the problems in the manufacture and assembly avoid cistern fittings.
- the basic idea the invention is thus seen in hitherto cistern fittings and fittings provided functional parts to integrate into the outside of the box body.
- the preferred Production by blow molding enables a particularly simple one and inexpensive realization of such box bodies.
- the invention also relates to a cistern with a cistern body and a particularly suitable method for Production of a box body according to the invention.
- FIG. 1 shows a box body 1 with a wall 2, which is essentially a rectangular by comparison forms a narrow box.
- a front wall 5 is one so-called inspection opening 7 incorporated, through which in particular a drain fitting 13 ( Figure 2) and an inlet fitting 20 ( Figure 2) is used. Through the opening 7 these fittings can also be revised and expanded.
- the box body 1 is for a concealed cistern determined and is thus mounted in a wall opening and covered on the front.
- cover plate So-called installed here.
- the inspection opening 7 can also on the top of the Box body 1 may be arranged.
- An execution is also conceivable, in which the body 1 for a cistern is determined, which is visible on a wall or on a toilet bowl is installed.
- a drain pipe 8 shown here only schematically is attached In the bottom of the wall 2 there is an outlet opening 9, to which a drain pipe 8 shown here only schematically is attached is.
- the drain pipe 8 can be molded onto the wall 2 his.
- Above the opening 9 is inside the box body 1 attached the drain fitting 13 in a known manner. With a liftable valve body 14, the drain opening 9 closed.
- the usual actuator can be the valve body 14 raised and thus the opening 9 for the spout be released from rinse water.
- Overflow channel 10 On a side wall 3 of the wall 2 is on the outside Overflow channel 10 arranged, in particular molded.
- This Overflow channel 10 has an upper inlet opening according to FIG 11 with an overflow edge 11 '.
- the overflow channel 10 extends downwards on the outside and along the floor to the outlet pipe 8.
- a mouth 12 connects the Overflow channel 10 with this drain pipe 8, as in FIG. 2 clearly shows.
- rises in the interior 40 of the box body 1 the rinse water when refilling over the overflow edge 11 ', so a further increase in the rinse water level is caused by prevents the overflow into the overflow channel 10.
- the overflowing Flushing water gets through the channel 10 into the drain pipe 8 and from there into a toilet bowl or urinal.
- the overflow channel 10 can according to FIGS.
- the overflow channel 10 in the region of an edge of the box body 2.
- the overflow channel is 10 less above than in the execution according to the Figures 2, 4 and 6.
- Between the two openings 11 and 12th is the overflow channel 10 over a comparatively narrow Web 19 connected to the wall 2. It is also conceivable an embodiment in which this web 19 does not exist and the overflow channel 10 only in the area of the overflow opening 11 and the opening 12 is attached.
- the overflow channel 10 can also rest directly on the wall 2 or be appropriate.
- the cross section of the overflow channel 10 or 10 'can also be round or another suitable Have cross-section.
- the overflow pipe usually integrated in the valve body 14 is here by a comparatively narrow Rod 14 'replaced. This rod is at its top end with connected to the actuator, not shown here.
- the rod 14 can also be movable or articulated or through a chain or the like can be replaced.
- the wall 2 has an inlet channel 16, 4 integrated into the front wall 5 on the outside is.
- the inlet channel 16 has an upper inlet opening 17 and a lower opening 18.
- the upper opening 17 is via a line, not shown here, with the Inlet fitting 20 connected.
- the armature 20 When refilling the box body 1 With rinse water, this water comes from the inlet valve the armature 20 via said line through the opening 17 in the channel 16 and through the lower opening 18 in the inside of the box body 2.
- the inlet fitting 20 can also be attached directly to the opening 17. The administration then unnecessary.
- the inlet fitting 20 is missing accordingly that with this otherwise common inlet pipe. Otherwise the inlet fitting 20 can be designed as usual.
- she is connected to a supply line, not shown here and has a common one not shown here Inlet valve, for example, regulated by a float becomes.
- FIG. 21 On a narrow side 4 of the box body 2 is according to the Figures 2 and 4 formed another channel 21. This owns an upper opening 21 that the channel 21 with the box interior combines. A lower opening 22 leads Outside. A flexible line 23 is introduced into the channel 21, which the inlet valve 20 in particular with one here connects toilet / shower device, not shown. That from the Opening 22 protruding end of line 23 is for example provided with a union nut 24.
- the channel 21 thus forms an installation duct for the line here 23.
- This installation channel 24 also forms an integrated one Part of the wall 2.
- a box body 1 In the case of a box body 1 according to the invention, at least one of the channels 10, 16 and 21 realized. It can of course two or all three of these channels 10, 16 and 21 can be integrated in the box body 2. Conceivable is also an embodiment in which, for example, the Inlet channel 16 attached to the inlet valve 20 as usual is. In the embodiment of Figure 1 is only the overflow channel 10 integrated into the wall 2.
- the production of the box body 1 can, for example by blow molding. This is explained below using the Figure 7 explains.
- the blow molding of box bodies 1 is known per se.
- two mold halves 26 and 27 two inwardly projecting Parts 28, between which a comparatively narrow space consists.
- the two molded parts 26 are closed and 27 of an interior 31 becomes a channel Room 30 separated.
- Between the two parts 28 Squeezed wall of the hose, not shown here forms the web 19 shown in Figure 6.
- the wall is connected by a melting process.
- After cooling mold 24 and separating the two Molded parts 26 and 27 is the box body 1 with the integrated Overflow channel 10 and possibly with others integrated functional parts. More work for channel 10 are not required.
- the box body 1 is thus provided with an additional benefit and takes over at least one not previously common in a box body Function.
