Definitions
- the present invention relates to a grape cup capable of supporting a grape of solid product, delitable and intended to be mounted sliding in a case, as well as in a product case comprising such a cup.
- This product grape is, for example, a stick of colored lipstick or colorless, or any kind of stick, for example a dermatological stick.
- a red case with lips comprising a cup provided, on the side opposite its bottom, with legs elastic grapes for grape undercut. These legs are in support against an internal wall of the casing envelope.
- This cup presents however the disadvantage that, when sliding in the case, its legs undergo vibrations, due to imperfections of this internal wall of the case. The vibration of the legs then causes a deformation of the base of the grape that is in contact with these legs. Subsequently, maintaining the grape in the cup is no longer insured, and the grape may become detached from the cup at the slightest shock. Furthermore, the deformation of the base of the grape is also produced when mounting the cup / grape assembly in the case. This phenomenon is all the more pronounced when the composition of the grape has a pasty consistency.
- a first object of the present invention is therefore to propose a cup of stick of lip product which ensures, in all positions of the stick and at variable temperatures, suitable retention of the grape in its cup.
- Another object of the invention is to propose a cup of simple production and inexpensive, which also allows easy industrial installation of the grape in the cup, and this regardless of the composition of the grape.
- a third goal finally consists in proposing a cup having a diameter higher than that of grapes, which avoids any risk of breakage of the grapes at the base, after mounting the grapes in the cup.
- a first object of the invention relates to a suitable grape-holding cup. to support a grape of solid, disintegrating product intended to be mounted sliding in a case, comprising a substantially cylindrical wall provided with an axis of symmetry and constituting a grape holding skirt, intended to maintain the base of the grape; a transverse bottom; and means grape retention, at least one opening being made in the wall cylindrical, this opening extending to the bottom and being delimited by two side edges connected by an upper edge opposite the bottom, this opening constituting the grape retaining means.
- This opening also constitutes a means of evacuating a surplus of displaced product by the retaining means and / or by the internal wall, during installation grapes in the cup.
- substantially cylindrical wall means any wall cylindrical in the literal sense, or a wall slightly tapered on its internal face, flared towards its free edge, opposite the background. Furthermore, this free edge can be cut at an angle, depending on the shape of the case intended to contain this cup. If applicable, the bottom of the cup can be perforated.
- the cup has a circular, oval or prismatic. Most often the cylindrical shape is preferred.
- the cylindrical wall extends beyond the bottom transverse by a cylindrical guide skirt connected to the bottom in the alignment of the cylindrical wall, this skirt ensuring a smooth sliding of the cup when it is mounted in a lipstick case.
- the opening made in the cylindrical wall is a longitudinal slot of orientation parallel to the axis of the cup. It is possible, however, to make an opening of rectangular or arcuate shape. This opening can, if necessary, also cross part of the bottom of the cup.
- a plurality of openings are provided. distributed regularly over the periphery of the cylindrical wall. So the openings (or slits) pass through the entire height of the guide skirt defining a plurality of tabs.
- the ends the tabs have a diameter slightly greater than the diameter of the cylindrical wall.
- these tabs can carry, for example, an external centering boss.
- the tabs permanently provide flexible contact with the wall of a sheath the case, guaranteeing a smooth sliding and without play of the cup in the case, acting as a shock absorber.
- this cushioning effect reduces or avoids the risk of breakage of the base of the grape.
- the cylindrical wall on the side opposite the bottom, has a continuous edge.
- each orifice (or slot) is associated with a means anchor, able to enter the base of the grape.
- each orifice (or slit) formed in the cylindrical wall is surrounded by an extra thickness called a "godron".
- each godron has a rounded edge in the vicinity of the internal wall of the retaining skirt.
- the gadroon forms an angle of substantially 90 ° with the internal cylindrical wall.
- the excess thickness of each gadroon is of the order of 0.1 to 5 mm.
- This placement of the grapes is advantageously carried out at a temperature below ambient temperature, for example at 10 ° C.
- the grape has a diameter a few 10 th of a millimeter smaller than the diameter it presents at room temperature, and a few 10 th of a mm less than the internal diameter of the cup.
- the grapes expand and remain “anchored” in the slots and / or gadroons. During this expansion, part of the material constituting the grape moves and penetrates into the orifices, thus ensuring the retention of the grape in the cup.
- the grape, thus placed in the cup is much more resistant to falls and tremors than a grape placed in a conventional cup, both at high temperatures and cold.
- the anchoring means is a part resiliently flexible, able to flex radially outward when setting up, grapes and sinking into the base of it
- this part is located at the right of an orifice, on the surface inside the side wall of the cup or in the thickness of the latter.
- This part can be in the form of a fin, for example in the form triangular or trapezoidal, part of one of the sides of the fin being adjoining the inner face of the cylindrical wall, this fin being oriented along a plane passing through the axis of the cup.
- the shape of the fin is chosen to facilitate the introduction of the base of the grape into the cup.
- the gadroons or the fins can be arranged on a variable height of the internal lateral wall of the cup.
- the cup has two projecting studs on the outside, these nipples being intended to control the movement of the cup, when mounted in a case.
- a second object of the present invention relates to a case for a product to lips comprising a grape, the base of which is engaged in a cup such previously described.
- This cup is of the type with two protruding nipples radially outwards and which, on the one hand, each pass through a light, these lights being formed in the side wall of a sheath in which the cup moves substantially in the axial direction, and on the other hand, each engage in a helical groove in the wall internal of a cylindrical jacket externally lined with an envelope, the sleeve being mounted movable in rotation relative to the envelope and retained axially.
- the axial distance, separating the nipples from the edge of the cup on the one hand, and the axial position of the ends of the lights and / or the grooves respectively on the sheath and / or the shirt on the other hand, is such that, when the grape is in its maximum exit position, the edge of the cup is not out of the sheath.
- Figure 1 shows an axial section of a lipstick case, provided of a cup according to the invention.
- Figure 2 shows an exploded view of the components of the case of Figure 1, the grape not being represented for the purpose of simplification.

- Figure 4 is a perspective view of an alternative embodiment of the cup according to the invention.
- FIG. 5 is a section along the plane P of FIG. 4.
- Figure 6 is an enlarged partial perspective view of Figure 4, in axial section.
- Figure 7 is a perspective view of another alternative cup according to the invention.
- FIG. 8 is a section along the plane P of FIG. 7.
- Figure 9 is an enlarged partial perspective view of Figure 7 illustrating a variant of the grape hooking means.
- Figure 10 is an enlarged partial perspective view of a variant of realization of the anchoring means of FIG. 9.
- Figure 11 is an axial sectional view of a preferred embodiment a lipstick case.
- FIG. 12 shows a perspective view of the sheath 8 of FIG. 11.
- Figure 13 shows a perspective view with partial cutaway of a grape of lipstick mounted in the cup of figure 11.
- a case of lip product having a longitudinal axis X comprising an external protective envelope 1, by metallic example, of cylindrical shape, of circular section, one edge of which is folded in a rounded collar 2 towards the X axis. It delimits a circular passage central 3.
- a cylindrical jacket 4 of circular section, thin, made of plastic. She has a smaller height than the envelope 1, so as to form side of the collar 2, an annular chamber 5, delimited by this collar and by a first end 4a of the jacket 4.
- a annular offset 6 is delimited between the envelope 1 and a second end 4b of the jacket 4.
- In the inner face of the jacket 4, are formed two helical grooves 7, identical but diametrically opposed.
- a sheath 8 made of rigid plastic material, free to rotate around the X axis, but fixed in the axial position.
- the sheath 8 comprises a part tubular cylindrical median 9, of external diameter slightly less than inner diameter of the shirt 4. At its ends, this sheath has respectively a retaining cord 10 and an operating tip 15.
- the tubular part 9 is connects via an external radial shoulder 14 to a nozzle cylindrical actuator 15, the internal diameter of which is equal to the diameter internal of the tubular part 9, and the external diameter of which is practically equal to the diameter of the envelope 1.
- the nozzle 15 has an internal radial collar 16.
- the cord retaining ring 10 ( Figure 1) abuts against the end 4b of the jacket 4, and is engaged in chamber 5, ensuring axial maintenance of the sheath in the jacket 4.
- the external radial shoulder 14 is fits in the annular recess 6, so that the jacket 4 is taken sandwiched axially between the cord 10 and the shoulder 14.
- the sleeve can be rotated in the shirt 4 by maneuvering the operating tip 15.
- a cup 30, of generally cylindrical shape is mounted in the sheath 8.
- This cup 30 has a cylindrical wall 20 and a cylindrical guide skirt 21, separated from each other by a bottom 22.
- the cylindrical wall 20 has two studs 24 on its external lateral wall protruding outwards.
- Each nipple has a dimension such that it can pass through a lumen 11 of the sheath 8 and be engaged in a groove 7 of the shirt 4.
- the slots 29 define tongues 23. Thanks to the material constituting the cup 30, for example polyacetal, polystyrene or polypropylene, these tabs 23 have an elasticity sufficient to guide the cup flexibly during its axial travel in the sheath 8.
- bosses 21a are provided on the external face of each tab 23, intended to eliminate any play between the cup 29 and the sheath 8.
- FIGS 4 to 6 illustrate an alternative embodiment of the cup of Figure 3.
- the constituent parts of this cup which are identical to those of the Figure 3 or play a similar role, have the same reference numbers increased by 100. The description of these parts will only be repeated partially.
- the cup 130 of FIG. 4 has a substantially cylindrical shape.
- the cylindrical wall 120 and the skirt of guide 121 have slots 129 opening substantially from mid-height from the cylindrical wall 120 to the free end 121b of the skirt of guide 121.
- a plurality of elongated slots 129a are formed in the lower part of the cylindrical wall 120.
- Each lumen 129a, on the internal face of the cylindrical wall 120, is surrounded by a zone of reinforcement or "godron" in extra thickness 150.
- This extra thickness 150 is of the order of 0.6 mm.
- the outer edge 151 of the extra thickness 150 is rounded to facilitate the placement of the grapes in the cup 130, as visible in Figure 5 which shows a cross section along the plane P in Figure 4.
- the lumen 129a forms with the cylindrical wall a sharp angle ⁇ , substantially equal to 90 °, as shown in Figure 6.
- the gadroons 150 form an excellent means of anchoring for a grape of semi-solid consistency, ensuring the maintenance of the grape, especially at high temperatures, around 30 °.
- FIG. 7 to 9 illustrate another variant of cup 230.
- the parts constitutive of this cup which are identical to those of FIG. 3 or play a similar role, have the same reference numbers increased by 200. The description of these parts will only be repeated partially.
- the cup 230 differs from the cup 30 in FIG. 1 by the fact that the cylindrical wall 220 has a plurality of internal hooking fins 250. These fins 250 have a rectangular triangular shape and extend radially inward of the cup. They are hung on the cylindrical wall 220 at a level above the top 251 of each slot 229, so that an acute angle ⁇ is defined between the skirt 220 and the hypotenuse of the triangle. Typically, the angle ⁇ is between 20 ° and 45 °. On only part of its length, the side adjacent to the angle ⁇ is integral with the cylindrical wall 220. This construction makes it possible to obtain a elastically mobile arrangement of the fins 250.
- the fins 250 can flex radially outwards in the space left by the slots 229. After putting in place of the grape, the fins go into the base of the grape by elasticity, ensuring the maintenance and anchoring thereof in the cup.
- notches 260 have been made in the bottom 222, these notches serving to remove the molding pins forming the slots 229 and the base 252 from the fins 250.
- FIG. 10 shows another arrangement of the grape hooking means.
- the upper edge of the opening 329 which is made in the side wall 320, carries a tongue 350.
- This tongue is flexible radially. It is directed towards the bottom 322 of the cup and oriented, according to an obtuse angle ⁇ towards its interior.
- the free end 352 of the tongue carries an anchor point.
- the tongue 350 flexes outwards, and then gradually returns to the mass of the grape, thanks to the pasty consistency of the latter.
- the point anchor 352 further increases the retention of the grape and opposes any accidental release of the grapes.
- the product moved during this operation can then head towards opening 329.
- FIGS. 11 to 13 illustrate a preferred embodiment of the invention, showing a case of lipstick.
- the constituent parts of this cup which are identical to those of FIG. 1 or play a similar role, bear the same reference numbers increased by 400. The description of these parts will only be partially resumed.
- the case 400 of FIG. 11 comprises a cylindrical base 415 with bottom 416 closed in which a cylindrical sleeve 408 is forced into.
- the part bottom of this sheath is surrounded by three gadroons in the form of a portion washer 415a, 415b, 415c, thin, extending radially outwards.
- These washer portions are discontinued to increase their flexibility in the axial direction of the sleeve, which facilitates the mounting of the mechanism.
- In the cylindrical side wall 409 of the sleeve 408 are made two slots 411 located opposite and oriented axially. In these slots are arranged the two pins 424 of the cup 430.
- Cup 430 has substantially the same construction as that shown in Figure 10.
- the sheath has a shoulder 414, in the vicinity of which there is an O-ring 414a, made of elastomeric material.
- the outer periphery of this seal 414a is in contact, with gentle friction, against the internal lower part of a metallic cylindrical casing 401.
- a cylindrical jacket 404 In the upper part of the metal casing 401 is mounted a cylindrical jacket 404 whose internal wall is provided with two internal grooves, intended to receive the lugs 424 of the cup 430 (see also Figure 13).
- cup 430 is mounted a 440 lipstick grape.
- this set is closed by a cylindrical cap 460 at the bottom of which is placed a block of cellular foam 401a, the side facing the grape is covered with a flexible and waterproof film 401b.
- This foam block prevents accidental release of the 440 grape during transport and also ensures the sealing of the case, in order to reduce, if necessary, the drying of the grapes.
- Figure 13 shows the arrangement of the grape 440 in the cup 430.
- the tabs 450 arranged at the top of openings 429, create in the base of the grape lines 431 axially oriented.
- we rotates the grape in the direction of arrow F for example by an angle of 10 ° or 20 °. By this operation, the lines get an angled shape 432. The product displaced during this operation may escape through the 429 openings and contributes to the maintenance of the grape.
- the placement of the grape in the cup is easy because, when compression occurs, during this operation, from the base of the grape, in particular by the fins 250, the tongues 350, 450 or the gadroons 150, any excess product can escape through the slots 29, 129, 229 of the cup 30, 130, 230, and thus contributes to the anchoring from the base of the grape into the cup.
- the cup in Figure 3 is studied for fixing a grape of relatively hard consistency; while the wells of Figures 4, 7, 10 and 13 can be used to support and maintain a grape of semi-solid consistency.
- the invention is also particularly advantageous in that it allows, because of the new grape mounting system, to have a grape whose diameter is very close to the diameter of the cup. This avoids the grapes have gone upside down in the cup. Thanks to the presence of slits, the surplus of product, moved to the base of the grape when placing place of the latter, by the internal wall of the cup and possibly by gadroons, can be evacuated through the slots. Furthermore, the invention applies to both classic lipstick mechanisms and lip pens that have a more slender shape than the mechanisms classics. In this case, the cup does not have lugs on the wall lateral lateral, but is integral with a screw extending axially from the bottom of the cup. It is understood that such a pen can be used for distribution of any other breakable product, capable of being fixed in a cup, such as a kohl pencil for eye makeup, or makeup chalk.
