Definitions

  • the invention relates to pliers according to the preamble of the claim 1.
  • Such pliers which can be designed, for example, as crimping pliers, is already known from EP 0 516 598. These pliers have two relative to each other movable jaws on. each a processing element to perform a linear work movement between a closed one and carry an open position of the processing elements; the editing elements are about a common axis, which by direction the working movement of the processing elements defined relative to each other is in different working positions together around this axis rotatably arranged and by means of guide pins lying parallel to this axis, which are attached to one of the machining elements and in machining element guide bores of the other editing element run, guided relative to each other, the guide pins in the open The position of the processing elements does not run next to the jaws of the pliers.
  • the invention has for its object the pliers of the aforementioned Kind in such a way that while maintaining the rotatability of the processing elements in its open position a safer guidance of the processing elements is obtained at the beginning of the pressing process and that the pliers contain an anti-rotation device, which after an initial closing path, a twisting of the Machining elements connected.
  • the pliers according to the invention are characterized in that the guide pins already with the pliers partially closed through the machining element guide holes protrude.
  • the processing elements guided by means of two guide pins can be spaced apart on the processing elements be positioned, with your arrangement preferred is carried out in such a way that during the pressing process the machining elements are exerted Torques are compensated for as well as possible in order to avoid tilting avoid the machining elements with the guide pins. So can the guide pins z. B. offset or parallel on a straight line to the longitudinal direction of the processing elements. The latter Arrangement z. B. the advantage that the processing elements in one Direction particularly narrow (slightly larger than the largest diameter the guide pins).
  • the guide pins are preferably located on only one processing element, thus consequently in corresponding guide bores of the other processing element.
  • each of the processing elements has only one guide pin have, which then in a corresponding guide bore of the would intervene in each other processing element.
  • the guide pins in one perpendicular to the plane of the pliers being on the side of a Pliers jaws can be passed. Consequently, is closed Position of the processing elements of the jaws between the parallel Guide pins. This makes the guide pins special be long. but with the processing elements in the open position must not run next to the jaws of the pliers, because otherwise a rotation of the processing elements in a different working position is no longer possible.
  • the jaws are at least hollow in the area of the processing elements.
  • the processing elements can namely the guide pins lie in the plane of the pliers and thus when the Machining elements in this hollow area of the jaws plunge.
  • the pliers jaws can alternatively also by two plates arranged at a distance from one another, what has a positive effect on the total weight of the pliers.
  • the jaws are designed with locking elements.
  • the processing elements one pivot each from one of the jaws of the pliers worn bearing held.
  • At least one of the locking elements on which the guide pins can be moved are consists of a spring clip provided with locking lugs, the lies in a plane perpendicular to the pivot and with its Lugs engage in the longitudinal grooves of the pivot.
  • a relatively short camp which in turn a small Distance of the guide pins from each other, so that also for the case that the guide pins engage in the cavity of the pliers jaw, the processing elements can be kept small.
  • the bearing is as Block formed with a through hole for the pin, thus can be easily plugged on.
  • axle approaches are arranged on the outside of the bearing, which in corresponding Openings of the jaws can be inserted. Thereby is a relative movement between the jaws of the pliers and the bearing Opening and closing of the pliers possible.
  • FIG 1 shows a perspective side view of the front part of a open pliers 1 with an upper jaw 2 and a lower Pliers jaws 3 in section.
  • the jaws 2, 3 are each made of two in a distance from each other parallel plates 2a. 2b: 3a. 3b (3b is shown in Figure 2).
  • the two jaws 2, 3 are each in the plates 2a, 2b; 3a, 3b trained bores 7, namely by a in this Bores 7 inserted bolt (not shown), which consequently as a common
  • the axis of rotation serves to pivot the pliers jaws 2, 3 are.
  • the processing element 8 has one in the direction of the processing element 9 extending stamp approach 10, the closed Pliers 1 from a corresponding one formed in the processing element 9 Bulge 11 is added.
  • FIG. 1 also shows a bearing 14 in which the lower processing element 9 is rotatably mounted about an axis lying in the plane of the pliers.
  • the bearing 14 is designed as a block 15 and faces opposite Side axles 16a, 16b on (16b is not shown in Figure 1).
  • FIG. 1 further shows one in the plate 2b of the upper jaw 2 formed bore 17 into which an axle shoulder of a second bearing 19th (see Figure 2), in which the upper processing element 8 rotatable by one Axis lying in the pliers plane is engaged.
  • This camp and the bearing 14 are thus between the plates 2a. 2b of the upper cheek piece 2 or between the plates 3a and 3b of the lower jaw 3 and are therefore relative to the jaws 2, 3 on the Axle lugs 16a, 16b pivotable.
  • the two machining elements are via parallel guide pins 12, 13 8 and 9 performed relative to each other.
  • the guide pins 8, 9 attached to the processing element 8 and protrude into through holes into the other processing element 9.
  • FIG. 2 shows a perspective side view of the front part of FIG closed pliers 1, the processing elements 8, 9 in one first working position.
  • the one on the editing element 8 trained stamp approach 10 with closed pliers 1 completely from the bulge formed in the processing element 9 11 added.
  • the guide pins are immersed when the pliers 1 are closed 12 and 13 in the lower, through the plate 3a. 3b formed jaws 3 and protrude through the lower processing element 9.
  • a hole 18 is formed in the plate 3b of the lower jaw 3, into which the axle shoulder 16a of the bearing 14 from FIG. 1 engages.
  • the distance between the plates 3a, 3b of the lower jaw is 3 in the area of the bore 7 slightly smaller than the distance of the Plates 2a, 2b of the upper jaw 2.
  • the lower Pliers jaws 3 at least partially in the through the plates 2a, 2b formed gap of the upper jaw 2 are pushed.
  • FIG. 2 also shows one formed on the processing element 8 Trunnion 23, which projects through the bearing 19 and through which the machining element 8 is rotatable.
  • the processing element 9 is similar Way in between the plates 3a, 3b of the lower jaw 3 arranged bearings 14 rotatable. Since both processing elements 8, 9 are connected to each other via the guide pins 12, 13, let them only around the pivots 23 lying in the plane of the pliers rotate.
  • FIG. 3 shows a perspective side view of the front part of FIG closed pliers 1 with the processing elements 8, 9 in the first Working position.
  • the pivot 23 of the machining element 8 is by means of a Snap rings 24 secured against slipping out of the bearing 19. The same applies to the pivot of the machining element 9.
  • a coil spring 25 is shown, the closed Pliers 1 is clamped.
  • the jaws 2 and 3 are over this coil spring 25 coupled to each other in such a way that they are wound by the spiral spring 25 can be moved back into the tong opening position.
  • FIG. 3 also shows the connecting link 26 already mentioned, which is connected to the lower jaw 3 is coupled.
  • FIG. 4 shows the bearing 14 designed as block 15.
  • the bearing is similar 19 trained.
