Definitions

  • the invention relates to a device for landfill degassing, which from Landfill gas exiting landfill gas is collected under the landfill cover and flows into the atmosphere via a degassing dome equipped with a filter, according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
  • Such a device is for example from US-A-5 577 558 known.
  • a degassing pipe for landfills is from WO-A-89/07493 to remove.
  • This degassing tube contains a filling is arranged on a perforated plate.
  • a degassing dome has become known from DE-OS 33 06 665. To the The construction of this degassing dome is first a casing pipe on the landfill floor placed and filled with filter gravel. After the landfill up to about the height of the Jacket pipe has been filled with landfill material, the jacket pipe is about a length pulled up and refilled with filter gravel. In this well-known cathedral must therefore in time intervals each the jacket tube pulled up by a length and new be filled with gravel. The production of these degassing domes is very much time-consuming and can only be carried out using machines such as crane trucks. Because of of the very small void volume of the heaped filter gravel column is Ensure sufficient degassing a large cross-sectional area of the cathedral required.
  • a landfill can be degassed to the extent that the landfill gas accumulating in the landfill through the gravel filters from the landfill into the Ambient atmosphere is released. Since no odorants through this filter device to be removed from the landfill gas remains when using such devices the disadvantage of odor nuisance in the landfill environment.
  • So-called well heads are also known for landfill degassing - DE 37 05 902 A1.
  • These fountain heads are structurally complex devices that the collection of Serve landfill gas, which via so-called probe pipes from the landfill into the Fountain heads is led.
  • the landfill gas collected is produced from the well heads fed to a recycling plant. So these fountain heads have no filter effect, but direct the unfiltered landfill gas to the recycling center, e.g. B. a power plant, to.
  • the recycling center e.g. B. a power plant
  • landfill gas utilization or recycling is considered in Combined heat and power plants are sought, or the landfill gas is generated using so-called high-temperature flares disposed of or rendered harmless.
  • the invention has set itself the task of a device to specify with which odorous substances are permanently filtered out of landfill gases, so that an odorless gas stream can be released into the ambient atmosphere.
  • this object is achieved by the pre-stitching solved according to claim 1.
  • the cartridge-shaped container on the Edge of a circumferential in the lumen of the protective tube at its lower free end protruding support flange stands up.
  • the cartridge-shaped container is also on his free end standing on the support flange is sealed against the support flange.
  • This support flange is positioned on the outside around the circumference of the protective tube a circumferential flange rib.
  • This flange rib serves as the foot area of the protective tube and prevents the device according to the invention from sinking into the landfill body.
  • a penetrates at a distance from the outer circumference of the Protective tube held gas level tube, the circumferential sleeve and the flange rib and forms with its direct connection to the gas collecting space under the landfill cover a control display for the effectiveness of the bio-filter.
  • the protective tube and the cartridge-shaped container are made of polymer material, preferably made of HD polyethylene.
  • This material has compared to the previously used. Material concrete an essential lower weight, which is distributed by a much larger contact area. This larger contact area is achieved by the in the lumen of the protective tube the lower free end of the support flange protruding all the way round outside around the circumference of the protective tube in the form of a circumferential flange rib continues. So there are settlements and inclinations and resulting leaks excluded the device according to the invention.
  • the biofilter fill can be defined quantities of certain microorganism cultures be added, which have a special degradation compared to Have odor compounds in the landfill gas to be treated.
  • the biofilter fill can further defined amounts of materials such.
  • B. special activated carbon can be added, which has a special sorptive capacity the odor compounds of the landfill gas to be treated.
  • the functionality of the filter can be checked regularly thanks to the special gas level tube , the exchange of the fill in the cartridge-shaped container can thus if necessary respectively.
  • This exchange of the biofilter bed is by simply exchanging the Biofilter cartridge possible without any problems.
  • With appropriate dimensioning of the cartridge the exchange with two people without expensive hoists. Integrated handles and corresponding insertion holes for simple round bars better handling ensures problem-free exchange.
  • the bullet can be done by pouring out the old and filling in the new biofilter material on site can be refilled and reused.
  • An alternative is to change the cartridges and afterwards central exchange of the bulk material possible.
  • the layer structure of the landfill cross-section takes place from bottom to top with a Degassing layer E, on which a single or multi-layer clay seal L is arranged, on which in turn a thick layer of recultivation soil R is applied.
  • the Landfill sealing consists of clay sealing L and, if necessary, one above the clay layer in the press bonded plastic geomembrane D with an outer circumference of the protective tube 1 surrounding gas and liquid-tight sleeve M connected Polyethylene is gas and liquid tight connected.
  • the protective tube 1 has at its lower end a circumferential in its lumen 11 protruding support flange 12 which extends outwards over the circumference of the protective tube 1 continues in the form of the circumferential flange rib 13.
  • the cartridge-shaped container 2 is arranged, in the Lumen the biofilter material 3 is indicated.
  • the cartridge-shaped container 2 is on the circumferentially in the lumen 11 of the protective tube 1 at its lower free end protruding support flange 12.
  • the cartridge-shaped container 2 is at the lower end covered by a perforated plate 21 so that the landfill gas from the degassing layer can rise into the lumen of the cartridge-shaped container 2 via the biofilter material.
  • the perforated plate 21 is in the elevation on the support flange 12 by a circumferential seal 22 against the unfiltered passage of landfill gas into the lumen 11 of the protective tube 1 secured.
  • This protection additionally serves a circumferential seal 23 at the upper end of the Protective tube 1, which the space 14 between the inner circumference of the protective tube 1 and the outer circumference of the cartridge-shaped container 2 against the passage sealed by landfill gas.
  • ribs 28 In the interior of the container 2 are circumferential openings such as ribs 28 and The like arranged, the gas and liquid tight with the associated peripheral surfaces of the container 2 are connected. These ribs 28 cause positive guidance of the derived landfill gas and prevent harmful marginality of Landfill gas.
  • the gas level tube 4 is connected to the side of the protective tube 1. This connection is made about the spacers 41, 42, about the distance of the gas level tube 4 from the circumference of the protective tube 1 is fixed. In the lower area, the gas level tube 4 penetrates the circumferential sleeve M and the outwardly projecting flange 13 of the protective tube 1 and is thus in direct operative connection with the degassing layer under the Device for landfill degassing according to the invention. This way the effectiveness of the biofilter material 3 in the cartridge-shaped container are constantly checked. As soon as the biofilter effect wears off, the filter can then be operated in the manner described above be replaced or renewed.
