Abstract

A folded/unfolded paper towel dispensing apparatus, includes a housing having a cover, a drum, an associated cutting device incorporated in the drum, and a tensioning device. An eccentric lever and a spring are used to actuate and reverse the direction of the drum, in which the upper part of the housing includes two flanges capable of accommodating a reel of paper towel. Le freinage de la bobine en rotation est automatique et on supprime ainsi le phénomène d'apparition d'une boucle d'une bande de papier lorsqu'un effort de traction excessif est effectué, cette boucle apparaissant entre la bobine et le tambour en amont du dispositif de coupe. Le galet, en appui sur la bobine de matériau, permet en quelque sorte un effet de rattrapage de jeu. Cela est obtenu par un diamètre du galet inférieur à celui du tambour de sorte que le différentiel permet d'obtenir une mise en tension constante du papier.
