Definitions
- the present invention relates to the field of shelter construction for various purposes, namely for motor vehicles or for covering space receiving people, such as yards, terraces or the like, and a for purpose a shelter for universal use.
- Shelters or the like are generally constituted, either in the form light dismountable constructions using fabrics or tarpaulins stretched over a removable tubular infrastructure, either in the form of heavy constructions, the load-bearing elements of which are sealed in the ground and often integrated into the cover.
- the removable lightweight constructions generally allow to meet needs for temporary cover, such as for terraces or temporary shelters, while heavy constructions serve more generally for the creation of permanent shelters, such as yards, covered or other parking.
- the object of the present invention is to overcome these drawbacks by offering a shelter for universal use allowing optimal use of the covered surface, while avoiding the possible risks of material degradation.
- the shelter for universal use is characterized in that it is essentially constituted by a single support and by at least one cover element attached to said support in a remote manner.
- the shelter for use universal is essentially constituted by a single support 1 and by at least one cover element 2 fixed to said support 1 in a remote manner.
- the single support 1 is in the form of a post 3 anchored to the ground via a base plate 4 cooperating with pins 5 or analogs embedded in a concrete base. So the weight of the element of cover 2 fixed to support 1 in a remote manner can be fully transferred to the concrete base without requiring an encroachment of the covered surface. Indeed, the concrete base is embedded in the ground and can thus extend under the surface covered by element 2 without forming any obstacle under it latest.
- the cover element 2 is essentially constituted by a cover sheet 6 stretched over a reception infrastructure comprising means 7 for horizontal adjustment and tension of the sheet 6 and a post 8 of support and central tension of said cover 6 and by a support arm 9 cooperating at one end with the receiving infrastructure of the sheet 6 and at its other end with the post 3 forming the single support 1.
- the support arm 9 cooperates with the reception infrastructure of the tarpaulin 6 by means of means 10 for receiving the support post 8 and central tension of the cover 6 and attachment of the adjustment means 7 horizontal and tension of the sheet 6.
- This means 10 is advantageously constituted in the form of a hollow beam closed at its ends and provided at intervals regular, at each end, fasteners 11 intended to cooperate with the means 7 for horizontal adjustment and tension of the tarpaulin 6, the upper end closed comprising a nut 12 cooperating with the support and tension post 8 cover 6 central.
- This post 8 is in the form of a mechanical jack, of which the upper end is provided with a hemispherical cup 8 'forming the tarpaulin central support 6 (figure 5).
- the support arm 9 cooperates with the post 3 forming the single support 1 by means of a pinch tightening device 13 constituted by a external plate 13 ', based on the corresponding external part of the post 3 and secured to the end of the support arm 9, and by an internal plate 13 " clamped against the internal face of the post 3 by means of a screw 14 passing through corresponding holes in the 13 "internal plate and post 3 and screwed into the external plate 13 'integral with the arm 9, the plates 13' and 13 "being deformed to rest on the corresponding faces of the post by their ends when tightening screw 14.
- a pinch tightening device 13 constituted by a external plate 13 ', based on the corresponding external part of the post 3 and secured to the end of the support arm 9, and by an internal plate 13 " clamped against the internal face of the post 3 by means of a screw 14 passing through corresponding holes in the 13 "internal plate and post 3 and screwed into the external plate 13 'integral with the arm 9, the plates 13' and 13
- the post 3 has a circular section and the plates 13 'and 13 "are in an arc, respectively of radii lower and higher than that of the corresponding walls of the post. It results that the ends of these plates are very strongly applied against the corresponding walls of the post 3 when tightening the screw 14 and tighten the corresponding post part 3 by bracing.
- each adjustment means 7 horizontal and tensioning of the cover 6 is in the form of a lower bar 7 'connected by one end to a fastener 11 of the lower part of the means 10, by through a stirrup 15 or a lug and a pin 16 or a bolt, and secured at its other end to a 7 "upper curved bar, the end of which facing the means 10 in the form of a hollow beam is connected to a fastener 11 corresponding part of the upper part of the latter via a caliper 18 or a lug and a pin 19 or a bolt, the other end of this upper curved bar 7 "extending in extension of that corresponding to the lower bar 7 '( Figure 5).
- cover elements 2 can be attached by their support arm 9 on the single support 1.
- the number of cover elements 2 is limited by the section of the post 3 and by the size of the clamping plates 13 'and 13 "forming the device pinch clamping assigned to each arm 9.
- the shelter according to the invention can also be fitted with gutters or the like, not shown, which are hooked in a known manner to the free ends of the means 7.
- These gutters can, for example, be connected between them and discharge into a common downpipe fitted in post 3.
- the embodiment according to the invention allows the creation shelters, in which the footprint of the supports is limited to one minimum, so that a large free space is available.
- the invention allows also the juxtaposition of several shelters for the realization of surfaces large covered, the cover elements 2 being arranged symmetrically or not with respect to their single support 1.
- the shelter according to the invention is more particularly intended for the creation of easily accessible covered spaces, such as covered parking, yards, terraces, or other.
