Claims (13)

  1. Shower booth with a shower tray (23) preferably made of plastic and with at least one fixed wall part (12) and a door (13), preferably made of glass or transparent plastic, where the tray edge (28) in the area of the fixed wall part (12) has on its top (18) a channel-like profile (57) adapted to the shape of the underside (24) of the fixed wall part (12), characterised in that the top (18) of the tray edge (28) in the area of the fixed wall part (12) has a width corresponding to the thickness of the fixed wall part (12) and that the inner surface (62) of the fixed wall part (12) has a smooth transition to the inner surface (63) of the edge (28) of the shower tray (12).
  2. Shower booth according to claim 1, characterised in that both the underside (24) of the fixed wall part (12) and the channel-like profile (57) have matching slight curvatures.
  3. Shower booth according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that in the base of the channel-like profile (57) is provided a sealant such as silicon mastic or a sealing profile of a thermoplastic material.
  4. Shower booth according to any of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the top (18) of the tray edge (28) in the area of a building wall (25) covered with tiles (26) has so small a width that the surfaces (64) of the tiles (26) have a smooth transition to the inner surface (63) of the tray edge (28).
  5. Shower booth according to claim 4, characterised in that between the lower edge (65) of the tiles (26) provided on the building wall (25) and the tray edge (28) is provided a sealant (29) e.g. in the form of silicon mastic or a sealing profile of a thermoplastic material.
  6. Shower booth according to claim 1, characterised in that the shower tray (23) is cast from polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) with inorganic fillers, in particular quartz, by means of a swage.
  7. Shower booth according to any of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the top (18) of the tray edge (28) has on the entrance side, viewed over its length, a bowed concave recess (30).
  8. Shower booth according to any of claims 1 to 7, characterised in that the lower edge (31) of the door (13) slopes down obliquely and/or in a curve towards a lowest point, preferably viewed over its length is bowed in a convex curve, in particular corresponding to the curvature of the recess (30) of the tray edge (28).
  9. Shower booth according to any of claims 1 to 8, characterised in that the tray edge (28) on the entrance side has a surface (32) sloping down from the outside towards the inside.
  10. Shower booth according to any of claims 1 to 9, characterised in that the lower edge (31) of the closed door (13) lies on an inner edge (34) of the tray edge (28) on the entrance side such that the inner surface (66) of the door (13) is either flush with or slightly offset inwards to the inner surface (63) of the tray edge (28) on the entrance side.
  11. Shower booth according to any of claims 1 to 10, characterised in that the lower edge (31) of the door (13) is chamfered towards the inside at the bottom.
  12. Shower booth according to any of claims 1 to 11, characterised in that the inner surface (63) of the tray edge (28) on the entrance side forms an angle of 90° or less with the floor (33) of the shower booth (23).
  13. Shower booth according to any of claims 1 to 12, characterised in that the floor (33) of the shower booth (23) slopes down towards the drainage point (17).
