Definitions
- the present invention relates to an autonomous device for suck up the waste and grind the lighter ones.
- the technical sector of the invention is the field of construction of cleaning devices and their use by processes using a suction air stream.
- the main application of the invention is the collection of waste of all kinds on public roads, therefore outside and without source external power supply.
- Such a suction device is quite heavy and complex, representing a mass of more than 80 kilos that the operator must therefore move by pulling or pushing said carriage to bring it to places where he must vacuum waste; moreover, such a device which works like a conventional vacuum cleaner, fills up very quickly when vacuuming bulky waste, and if it is light, it obstruct the orifice of the said vacuum pipe, connected to the block suction, thereby stopping any possibility of continuing cleaning, after about 30 seconds of use, which is very short and not very effective.
- the problem is therefore to be able to make and use a autonomous device to vacuum all the waste that we can meet on public roads, using containers, standard type preference and that we want to be able to fill in maximum of said waste, without it being obstructed too quickly by bulky and light waste, while offering a system simple, light, easily movable by an operator, of great autonomy and without risk of damaging the suction device, everything by being of a reasonable cost price, thus allowing any community to equip themselves with a large number.
- the present invention achieves all of these objectives thanks to a device for vacuuming any type of waste in a container standard by physically selecting light waste from low density for grinding them, and ejecting them into a collection bag, while heavy waste inertia falls into the container.
- a solution to the problem posed is thus a device for vacuuming waste, comprising a suction duct, one end of which is mobile to be moved to any point where you want to suck up a waste and the other end is connected to the device, a cover capable of constituting a cover to cover and close the opening of a waste container and comprising a peripheral rim whose support surface is shape and size compatible with those of the peripheral rim surrounding the container opening, which bearing surface is equipped a seal capable of resting on said peripheral rim of the container, and to make its opening tight relative to the hood, a block directly mounted on said hood and capable of creating a vacuum in said container and a waste collection container light, connected to the discharge port of the suction unit, said container constituting the receptacle for heavy waste: according to the invention, the inlet opening of the suction unit constitutes said suction opening in the hood, and the other end of the duct is connected to the hood through which it opens, the block suction consists of a suction turbine, and grinding said
- the device according to the invention allows the turbine suction, the diameter of which is preferably greater than that of the suction hose manipulated by the operator, to create a suction at high speed of the order of 5 to 6 meters per second and even beyond, insofar as the seal between the device the container is sufficiently well performed, thanks to particular to the joint according to the present invention, which moreover, by its shape, absorbs vibrations of the drive motor and reduces noise ;
- the air flow thus created at the end of the pipe suction thanks to its high speed, can entrain objects and heavy wastes such as cement, stones, and possibly even density from 4 to 5 for example, and all the more so as their surface bearing in relation to the flow of suction air is important in proportion of the suction pipe section: which waste then arrive at the top of the container, whose opening section is of course larger than that of the suction hose, which makes drop the air entrainment speed, thus not allowing divert said heavy waste, which has acquired a drive speed fairly large in the suction pipe and are therefore projected into the container
- Such a device is relatively compact and remains operational as long as either the light waste bag or the heavy waste container is not full; it represents an empty weight of the order of 6 to 7 kilos maximum, which can thus be easily handled and loaded, even on two-wheeled vehicles, since it is directly mounted on the associated container, without requiring any intermediate support.
- the flow that can be obtained with such a device, with a thermal type drive motor of less than a kilowatt can be 10 m 3 per minute, or three times that of conventional vacuum cleaners with electric power, thus allowing better suction efficiency while requiring less power than all the other types of devices mentioned above; indeed, these require a higher power because to avoid damaging the suction system, they all have a tight mesh filter before the suction opening to stop any type of waste heavy or light.
- Figure 1 is a schematic side sectional view along II ' of FIG. 2B, of a device mounted on a following standard container the invention.
- Figure 2A is a view of the same device as that of Figure 1, but shown alone laterally.
- FIG. 2B is a bottom view of the cover of the device of the Figure 2A.
- Figure 3 is a side view of the same device according to the invention as in FIGS. 1 and 2A, but with a connection of the flexible suction duct, mounted radially on the side of the hood and not axially and vertically as in the other figures.
- Figure 4 is an enlarged view in partial section of the part IV of the device shown in Figure 1.
- the device according to the invention consists of a cover 1 specially adapted for hermetically covering with a joint sealing 6, the opening 4 of a waste container 5 mounted on wheels 12.
- the cover 1 integrates and supports the suction unit 2 consisting of a suction and grinding turbine 2 1 of light waste 22 2 and whose rotation is ensured by a drive motor 3, preferably of the thermal type with petrol, complying with pollution and noise standards and located on the top of the hood 1.
- the device thus formed allows the heavy waste 22 1 to fall by inertia into the container 5, while the low density waste 22 2 is sucked by the turbine 2 and crushed before being ejected through its discharge orifice 23 in a bag collection 9 placed laterally.
- the flexible conduit 8 fitted at its movable end 10 with said tube 10, can be manipulated by a holding handle 11 which is provided with said tube 10.
- Said holding handle 11 is equipped with a lever 14 arranged to control the acceleration of the drive motor 3 of the suction unit 2, by any mechanical or electrical connection not shown in the figures.
- said cover 1 includes a peripheral edge 17, which may be in the form of a flange, the surface of which support is of a shape and size compatible with those of the rim peripheral 16 outside the opening 4 of the container 5, which bearing surface is equipped with a flexible seal, deformable in its thickness, preferably hollow 6, capable of resting on said edge container device 4.
- a seal in addition to the tightness ensures, even in the event of deformation of the flatness of the flange 16 of the container, also absorbs the vibrations of the motor 3 which does not are thus not transmitted to said container 5, thus limiting, not only noise pollution but also deterioration mechanics of the assembly.
- said hollow joint 6 has a groove 20 whose the opening towards the center of the cover 1 parallel to the surface supporting the rim 17 is able to slip on the outside, straddling said rim which is then necessarily in the form of a flange or comprises a lip for that; it is very easy to be able to remove and change the seal 6 as appropriate.
- said cover 1 comprises at least two attachment systems 13 placed at its outer periphery, and consisting of at least one flexible part 18 fixed and articulated on said cover 1, and a rigid part 19 able to come engage under the peripheral rim 16 outside of the container 5.
- the orifice 7 of the conduit 8 can be installed, either vertically on the cover 1 as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2A, considering the vertical position, that of the container 5 placed on the ground 24 such that shown in Figure 1, and according to another variant such as shown in Figure 3, said port 7 can be mounted horizontally.
- the device according to the invention is thus particularly intended for vacuum any type of waste 22 strewn on the public highway or any other open public or private space 24, in town as in the countryside.
