- the present invention relates to an enameled wire of high resistance to partial discharge.
- Insulation by enameling electric wires allows obtaining thin insulation on wires electric. It may become insufficient for some applications. This is for example the case when these wires are used for making windings of motors with alternating current. These motors are controlled by frequency converters that we work on currently at increasing frequencies which can lead to premature aging of the son enamelled windings. This aging is notably due to partial discharges in these coils.
- Such enameled wire is flexible, but its flexibility is less than that of an enameled wire whose resin enamel layers is not charged with such particles. he also has a smooth surface, but less smooth than the surface of a wire with an outer non-enamelled layer loaded. It follows that the winding of such an enameled wire is more delicate and that often the performances obtained after winding are less than those expected.
- the object of the present invention is to avoid these problems.
- Its object is a high resistance enameled wire at partial discharges, comprising a conductor electric and at least two layers of enameling on said conductor, at least one of which is in one resin loaded with weakly conductive particles, characterized in that the outermost of said layers is said to be overcoat and made up of a thermo-adhesive resin and at least the directly underlying layer is consisting of said resin charged with said particles.

- this external overlay 4 on the enameled wire advantageously avoids any impregnation subsequent enameled wire, for its winding, generally at the customer. This avoids pollution problems due to solvent fumes, the solvent vapors being processed at the manufacturer when they are not generally not at customers carrying out the windings.
- the resin of the overlay 4 is advantageously also a resin applied melted and without any solvent on the wire already provided with its layer 3 and its possible layer 2. We thus removes fumes from traces of solvents from the overlay during the merger of the overlayer after winding the wire.

Claims (4)
- Fil émaillé de résistance élevée aux décharges partielles, comportant un conducteur électrique et au moins deux couches d'émaillage sur ledit conducteur, dont au moins l'une desdites couches est en une résine chargée de particules faiblement conductrices, caractérisé en ce que la plus extérieure (4) desdites couches (2, 3, 4) est dite surcouche et constituée en une résine thermo-adhérente et au moins la couche directement sous-jacente (3) est constituée en ladite résine chargée desdites particules.
- Fil émaillé selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que la couche d'émaillage la plus intérieure (2) est également en résine chargée de particules faiblement conductrices.
- Fil émaillé selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que la couche d'émaillage la plus intérieure (2) est en résine non chargée de particules faiblement conductrice.
- Fil émaillé selon l'une des revendications 1 à 3, caractérisé en ce que la surcouche (4) est en résine appliquée fondue sans aucun solvant sur ledit fil.
