Claims (7)

  1. Electric hair-cutting machine (1) having an upper cutter (2) and a lower cutter (3) which are arranged such that they are located one upon the other, it being the case that the upper cutter (2) can be made to vibrate for cutting purposes, and, for the purpose of setting the length of cut, the two cutters (2, 3) are designed such that they can be adjusted relative to one another by means of an adjusting device (4), by way of an actuating means (13, 13.1, 13.2, 13.3, 14, 22), characterized in that the upper cutter (2), the lower cutter (3) and the adjusting device (4), along with the actuating means (13, 13.1, 13.2, 13.3, 14, 22), are designed as a unit (5, 5.1-5.5).
  2. Hair-cutting machine according to Claim 1, characterized in that the unit (5, 5.1-5.5) is designed such that it can be released from the hair-cutting machine (1) by external manipulation.
  3. Hair-cutting machine according to Claim 2, characterized in that the unit (5, 5.1-5.5) is connected to the hair-cutting machine (1) by means of a latching, locking or screw connection (6, 7, 8).
  4. Hair-cutting machine according to Claim 1, characterized in that the adjusting device (4) comprises a manually displaceable lower cutter (3), it being possible for the upper cutter (2) to be made to vibrate for cutting purposes.
  5. Hair-cutting machine according to Claim 1, characterized in that the adjusting device (4) has an eccentric or a guide-cam or an articulation or a sliding mechanism (9, 10, 11, 12).
  6. Hair-cutting machine according to Claim 1, characterized in that a lever (13), button (14), rotary ring (15), sliding ring (24) or an actuating section (22) is provided for the manual adjustment of the hair length.
  7. Hair-cutting machine according to Claim 6, characterized in that the rotary ring (15) or the sliding ring (24) is arranged around a housing (23) of the hair-cutting machine (1), this corresponding kinematically to the adjusting device (4).
