Da die Drehachse 11 exzentrisch bezüglich der Lage der beiden Langhaarschneidsysteme 9 und 10 ist und da der Abstand des zweiten Langhaarschneidsystems 10 von der Drehachse 11 etwa doppelt so groß ist wie der Abstand zwischen Drehachse 11 und dem ersten Langhaarschneidsystem 9, überragt das als Styler ausgebildete zweite Langhaarschneidsystem 10 in dem in den Figuren 5 und 6 dargestellten dritten Betriebszustand das Kurzhaarschneidsystem 3 noch deutlicher als es das erste Langhaarschneidsystem 9 in dem zweiten Betriebszustand, der in den Fig. 3 und 4 dargestellt ist, tut. Claims (11)

  1. A combination of a shaver (1) with an electric hair cutting apparatus, comprising a casing (2) and a carrier body (8) pivotally mounted on the casing (2) about an axis of rotation (11) for at least one cutter unit (9, 10) comprising at least two shaving elements (30, 31, 36, 37) configured to be moved relative to one another by a drive motor, wherein two, in particular diametrically opposed cutter units (9, 10) are mounted in the carrier body (8) and the carrier body (8) has one side thereof mounted on an outside surface of the casing (2) of the shaver (1) including a shorthair cutter unit (3).
  2. The apparatus as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that a drive mechanism (16, 19) configured to actuate the at least one cutter unit (9, 10) acts upon the shaving element (31, 37) to be moved or upon a component part connected to it in the immediate proximity of the axis of rotation (11).
  3. The apparatus as claimed in any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the cutter unit (9, 10) includes a cutting comb (30, 36) and an associated cutting blade (31, 37).
  4. The apparatus as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the axis of rotation (11) extends eccentrically relative to the two cutter units (9, 10).
  5. The apparatus as claimed in claim 1 or 4, characterized in that two different types of cutter units (9, 10) are provided.
  6. The apparatus as claimed in any one of the claims 1,4,5, characterized in that each of the two cutter units (9, 10) includes a cutting comb (30, 36) and a cutting blade (31, 37).
  7. The apparatus as claimed in any one of the claims 4 to 6, characterized in that the cutter units (9, 10) have widths that differ from one another.
  8. The apparatus as claimed in any one of the claims 1, 4 to 7, characterized in that the two cutter units (9, 10) are configured to be actuated by a common drive mechanism (16, 19).
  9. The apparatus as claimed in any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that both the shorthair cutter unit (3) and the cutter units (9, 10) mounted in the carrier body (8) are configured to be driven by a common motor.
  10. The apparatus as claimed in any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the carrier body (8) is linearly displaceably mounted on the casing (2).
  11. The apparatus as claimed in any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the rotary and/or linear movements of the carrier body (8) are performed by a motor drive.
