Definitions
- the invention relates to a shaving head for a hair trimmer, with at least one upper blade and at least one associated therewith, cutting edges having lower blade, which are movable by a drive relative to each other, wherein the upper blade has a contact surface of webs and slots and the slots at least one of two lateral, the width of the contact surface defining boundary lines of the contact surface are open.
- Such a shaving head is from the DE 43 12 060 C1
- a shaving head is from the DE 43 12 060 C1
- the known shaving head has a lower blade, which consists of a multi-slotted, U-shaped blade, which is driven to oscillate in the longitudinal direction.
- This blade is pressed against an upper blade, the contact surface for the skin is formed on the opposite side of the upper blade of the upper blade.
- This contact surface consists of a central web from which a plurality of comb-like prongs arranged on both sides in the transverse direction.
- the tines thereby form cutting edges, which are in conjunction with the lower blade in a position to cut into the corresponding slots penetrated hair.
- the comb-like prongs limit thereby slits, which lead from the longitudinal side of the contact surface to the central web and end there.
- the longitudinal central web therefore serves as a trap for the hairs that have entered, so that they are held in the shaving head until a cutting event occurs.
- the length of the cutting edges of the upper blade is slightly less than half the width of the upper blade in the known shaving head.
- the well-known shaving head has indeed proven itself in practice, but may occur in particular at higher feed speed of the hair trimmer, the case that an initially caught between the tines hair is only caught on the central web, but then pulled over them away, so that it outside of the area of the cut edges before a cutting event has occurred.
- the cutting edges ie the length of the tines or the slots would have to be appreciably extended, which would lead to a significant increase in the dimensions of the shaving head.
- the invention is therefore an object of the invention to provide a generic shaving head, which is characterized by a particularly high level of effectiveness even at higher feed speeds of the hair trimmer, while still having very compact proportions.
- the webs are formed in the form of meanders, sinusoids or serpentine lines, which run back and forth between the two opposite lateral boundary lines of the stop surface, wherein the reversal points (18) of the webs (17) in the area the boundary lines are.
- the inventive solution cutting edges can be realized, whose length is approximately the measure of the width of the contact surface, so the shaving head width. These extended cutting edges increase the likelihood that a once threaded in the slot hair is cut even when advancing the hair clipper. At higher feed the hair clipper, namely, the hair can not slip through the slot in such a short time, but it is caught between the webs until it is cut.
- the support of the upper knife on the lower blade is almost exclusively realized by the central web, it is virtually single track.
- this guidance takes place in the region of the turning points of the meander.
- the guide therefore consists of interrupted sections, which are located alternately in the region of one or the other lateral boundary line.
- the lower blade is guided on two laterally outboard rails. This represents optimal guidance of the two cutting elements.
- the shaving head geometries ie the abutment surfaces of the total shear surfaces themselves, can be designed very differently, it is provided in one embodiment of the invention that the two lateral boundary lines are formed as parallels and form the longitudinal sides of the contact surface.
- a further embodiment of the invention provides that the two lateral boundary lines are formed as interleaved, in particular concentric circles and form the outer or inner circumference of the contact surface. In this way, e.g. rectangular or annular shear surfaces are formed.
- the first and / or second lateral boundary line surmount the corresponding lateral boundaries of the associated lower blade, so that one or more reverse portions of the webs opposite protruding comb-like the lower knife. This achieves a particularly good threading and erecting effect. This effect is further enhanced by the fact that the width of the slots widens in a funnel shape in the opening direction.
- the length of the slots is advantageously such that the end of the slots opposite the opening is within the range traveled by the cutting edges of the lower blade. This leads to a particularly stable mounting of the relatively moving cutting elements and counteracts hooking of the respective cutting edges.
- the prevention of entanglement is also a training in which the slots or webs of the upper blade have a different from the pitch of the cutting edges of the lower blade pitch.
- the shaving head according to the invention can be used both in linearly oscillating and in rotationally driven systems.
- the shaving head shown in Fig. 1 has a lower blade 1 with a coupling element 2 for coupling to an electric drive, not shown, of the hair trimmer, such as a driven eccentric shaft or swing bridge.
- an electric drive not shown
- the lower blade 1 is driven in an oscillating manner in the longitudinal direction.
- a pressure spring 3 is further attached, which is designed as a bent leaf spring and is supported with their end portions 4 each on a support 5.
- the carrier 5 each have locking lugs 6, with which they can be locked in a housing, not shown in the drawing or a component connected to the housing, in particular in the removable frame of a shaving system, a hair clipper.
- the carrier 5 are on both sides each with outer and inner welds 7 and 8, respectively, by means of which they can be welded to corresponding mating surfaces 7a and 8a, which are arranged on the upper blade 9.
- the lower blade 1 is biased by the pressure spring 3 relative to the upper blade 9 and is always pressed against this.
- the lower blade is designed as a U-shaped profile, the two legs are directed downward and at the top of a plurality of transverse parallel notches 10 are provided, between which webs 11 remain, which form the cutting edges of the blade.
- the upper blade 9 consists of two parallel side walls 12, each having the mating surfaces 7a and 8a, as well as from a further the two side walls 12 connecting strip-shaped wall element 13.
- the outer surface of this wall element 13 forms the contact surface 14 of the shaving head.
- the side walls 12 and the wall element 13 form the guide of the driven lower blade 1 and enclose it.
- the width of the contact surface 14 is defined by two lateral boundary lines 15 and 16, which have a planar contour in the region of their end sections lying opposite one another in the longitudinal direction. Between these end portions is the actual cutting region in which the contact surface 14 of the upper blade 9 is formed by interconnected webs 17 which meander, sinusoidal or serpentine.
- the webs 17 have transverse portions which form the cutting edges 22, as well as turning points 18, which have outwardly facing larger radii 19 and inner small radii 20.
- the large radii 19 form comb tips, which are particularly skin-friendly due to their large radii.
- the small radii 20 connect the cutting edges 22 and are at least as large as to exceed the radius of a hair. In this way it is ensured that trapped between the cutting edges 22 hair can not be clamped and thus pulled.
- the maximum outer radius 19 in the shaving head according to the invention can be performed as large as the entire land width plus half the slit width.
- the outer radius 19 abruptly changes to a right angle;
- these points 23 there is a welding of the wall element 13 with the integrally formed supports 24 of the side walls 12.
- the bearing surface formed by the right angle at the point 23 is used for adjustment and fixing in the welding apparatus.
- the invention can be carried out without these corners at the points 23, so that then all reversal points have large radii 19 at the comb tips.
- the radii 19 also form funnel-shaped Einfädelzonen for the slots 21, which expand outward.
- the meandering webs 17 with their arcuate deflection points 18, to which they are connected in part via the supports 24 with the side walls 12, represent an overall comparatively resilient contact surface 14 for the skin to be shaved.
- This can be adapted to skin contours at least to a small extent and possibly avoid unevenness easier than previously known shaving heads. Nevertheless, it is ensured even with a deformation of the contact surface 14 in the region of the cutting zone that no hooking can be done with the webs 11 of the lower blade 1.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a shaving head for a hair trimmer, with at least one upper blade and at least one associated therewith, cutting edges having lower blade, which are movable by a drive relative to each other, wherein the upper blade has a contact surface of webs and slots and the slots at least one of two lateral, the width of the contact surface defining boundary lines of the contact surface are open.
The well-known shaving head has indeed proven itself in practice, but may occur in particular at higher feed speed of the hair trimmer, the case that an initially caught between the tines hair is only caught on the central web, but then pulled over them away, so that it outside of the area of the cut edges before a cutting event has occurred. In order to reduce the likelihood of this case occurring in the prior art shaving head, the cutting edges, ie the length of the tines or the slots would have to be appreciably extended, which would lead to a significant increase in the dimensions of the shaving head.
The invention is therefore an object of the invention to provide a generic shaving head, which is characterized by a particularly high level of effectiveness even at higher feed speeds of the hair trimmer, while still having very compact proportions.
This object is achieved in that the webs are formed in the form of meanders, sinusoids or serpentine lines, which run back and forth between the two opposite lateral boundary lines of the stop surface, wherein the reversal points (18) of the webs (17) in the area the boundary lines are. The inventive solution cutting edges can be realized, whose length is approximately the measure of the width of the contact surface, so the shaving head width. These extended cutting edges increase the likelihood that a once threaded in the slot hair is cut even when advancing the hair clipper. At higher feed the hair clipper, namely, the hair can not slip through the slot in such a short time, but it is caught between the webs until it is cut.
In the known shaving head, the support of the upper knife on the lower blade is almost exclusively realized by the central web, it is virtually single track. In the solution according to the invention, this guidance takes place in the region of the turning points of the meander. The guide therefore consists of interrupted sections, which are located alternately in the region of one or the other lateral boundary line. The lower blade is guided on two laterally outboard rails. This represents optimal guidance of the two cutting elements.
The shaving head geometries, ie the abutment surfaces of the total shear surfaces themselves, can be designed very differently, it is provided in one embodiment of the invention that the two lateral boundary lines are formed as parallels and form the longitudinal sides of the contact surface. A further embodiment of the invention provides that the two lateral boundary lines are formed as interleaved, in particular concentric circles and form the outer or inner circumference of the contact surface. In this way, e.g. rectangular or annular shear surfaces are formed.
In order to improve the erection of hair lying close to the skin, in a preferred embodiment of the invention it is provided that the first and / or second lateral boundary line surmount the corresponding lateral boundaries of the associated lower blade, so that one or more reverse portions of the webs opposite protruding comb-like the lower knife. This achieves a particularly good threading and erecting effect. This effect is further enhanced by the fact that the width of the slots widens in a funnel shape in the opening direction.
The length of the slots is advantageously such that the end of the slots opposite the opening is within the range traveled by the cutting edges of the lower blade. This leads to a particularly stable mounting of the relatively moving cutting elements and counteracts hooking of the respective cutting edges. The prevention of entanglement is also a training in which the slots or webs of the upper blade have a different from the pitch of the cutting edges of the lower blade pitch.
The shaving head according to the invention can be used both in linearly oscillating and in rotationally driven systems.

The shaving head shown in Fig. 1 has a lower blade 1 with a

The lower blade is designed as a U-shaped profile, the two legs are directed downward and at the top of a plurality of transverse
As can be seen particularly well in FIG. 2, the width of the
The
While in the prior art shaving head, the outer radius of the transverse comb-like ridges reaches a maximum of half the bridge width, the maximum
At some
The
The
By the above-described embodiment of the shaving head, on the one hand, it is possible to realize particularly
