Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for controlling and securing a motor-driven wing of a door, a window or the like with detection means for detecting the wing and / or the area to be secured, for example the movement area of the wing, with evaluation means and with control means, preferably for controlling the motor drive of the wing, and the use of an image capturing device as capturing means, as well as a method for controlling and securing a motor-driven wing of a door, a window or the like with detection means for detecting the wing and / or the area to be secured, for example the movement area of the wing, with evaluation means and with control means, preferably for controlling the motor drive of the wing ,
- Devices of this type for controlling and securing a door, a window or the like generally use several sensors, each of which detects and secures a specific door area for itself.
- sensors which are designed either as motion detectors or as status detectors based on the reflection principle.
- Motion detectors usually work according to the Doppler principle, ie a signal is emitted in a certain detection range and the reflected radiation is received. If there is a moving object in the detection area, for example a person, the frequency of the reflected radiation will be greater or less than the frequency of the emitted radiation, depending on the direction of movement. This principle is independent of whether infrared radiation, radar or ultrasound are used.
- a few individual sensors are arranged on the upper edge of a motor-operated door leaf, which essentially emit their radiation downwards. These sensors work in the infrared range and react to changes in the amount of light reflected. If there are people or objects in the swivel range of the door leaf, the door drive can be stopped using the sensors.
- DE 30 20 483 C2 describes a photoelectric device for scanning objects.
- the arrangement of the individual sensors creates a quasi-zigzag pattern that allows a homogeneous and controlled scanning area to be detected in depth.
- a sensor of this type is mounted horizontally on both sides of a swing door, one device being used for opening and the other for securing.
- Another known sensor arrangement which is commercially available has a housing which extends over the entire width of the wing in the manner of a grip strip and in which light-emitting and light-sensitive elements are arranged linearly next to one another.
- DE GM 73 04 821 shows a safety device for sliding doors, which is used in particular for elevator doors. A pulse generator sends out pulses that are received by a corresponding receiving device on the same door leaf. If the emitted pulses are not properly received at the receiving device, it is assumed that there is a person or an object in the safety-relevant area, ie on the edge of the wing. Due to this fact, the door leaf's travel movement is switched off.
- a disadvantage of the method shown is that a special light source for Emission of line light is required and the video camera as Imaging means at a certain angle to the line light source must be arranged.
- the video camera cannot be arranged to be movable.
- the Evaluation of the generated sectional images is complex.
- the object of the invention is a device for monitoring and control a door or a window with an image capturing means, which can cover the areas on both sides of a wing.
- the acquisition should be done with the simplest possible means, be inexpensive and diverse be applicable.
- an image capture device preferably a CCD camera
- the image capturing device is arranged to move on the wing, the detection direction being aligned across the wing plane, both the side in front and the side behind the wing plane being captured.
- the camera can also have two-part optics, with part of the optics capturing the space on one side of the wing and the second part capturing the space on the other side of the wing.
- the camera is connected to an evaluation unit, preferably to an IC or ⁇ P, which detects processes and conditions in the areas detected by the camera and initiates a corresponding control of the motor drive. This results in increased protection and the possibility of detecting malfunctions in the system.
- a camera in the area of an automatic door is to be monitored with the camera.
- a camera with the smallest possible camera head is used. It can be installed directly in the drive.
- the evaluation electronics can divide the monitored room into three different sections, in which reaction to movement or standstill must be responded to in a defined form. The setting of the sections should be done largely automatically.
- the adaptation to the different environmental conditions, in particular to the constantly changing lighting conditions, must take place automatically. Constantly existing objects should be automatically removed from the monitoring.
- the evaluation electronics should provide one, a maximum of two, digital signals at the output. Objects with dimensions of at least 30 sq. Cm should be able to be detected. The resolution should be as low as possible. Color evaluation is not absolutely necessary.
- the rooms to be monitored add up to an area of at least 4 m by 4 m.
- the image capturing device is mounted in the door plane on the door frame or the wall above the door, the capturing direction being oriented vertically or almost vertically downwards.
- Figure 1 shows a room on one wall 2 is a two-winged Sliding door system 1 with two door leaves 1a and 1b is located.
- the sliding door leaves 1a, 1b are each on two upper rollers 3 in one above the door 1 located track 4a out.
- the running rail 4a is mounted in a stationary manner on the wall 2 horizontal carrier 4 arranged.
- an electric motor 5 is arranged on the carrier 4, which does not have one illustrated toothed belt cooperates with the rollers 3.
- the device according to the invention has an image capturing device 6, which for detecting and securing the door area 9 (Fig. 3) in the middle of the carrier 4 is installed above the door leaf 1a, 1b.
- the detection direction of the optics 61 is directed vertically or almost vertically downwards towards the floor.
- the image capture device 6 is a CCD camera of conventional design, which are read out electronically can.
- This image capturing device 6 is connected to an evaluation unit 7a, which evaluates the data captured by the image capturing device 6 and accordingly acts on the control unit 7b.
- the control unit 7b in turn controls the motor drive 5 of the door leaf 1a, 1b and thus the opening and Door closing movement 1.
- FIG. 5 A block diagram relating to the above relationship is shown in FIG. 5. It shows the image capture device 6, which is connected to the evaluation unit 7a. From the evaluation unit 7a there is in turn a connection to the control unit 7b and from there to the motor drive 5. This offers advantages, for example, when an already existing door system 1 with an existing control unit 7b is to be retrofitted with the image acquisition 6 according to the invention including the evaluation unit 7a.
- the evaluation unit 7a and the control unit 7b are preferably an IC or a microcomputer.
- An alternative arrangement is shown in FIG. 6.
- a combined control and evaluation unit 7 is provided, which combines the functions of the separate evaluation unit 7a and the control unit 7b in one IC or ⁇ C.
- the image capture device 6 can also be arranged on the wing itself, in or on the running rail 4a, or in the Carrier 4 can be integrated. It is also conceivable for the image capture device (6) to be vertical to be arranged above or below the range of movement of the wings (1a, 1b), or even completely outside the range of motion, for example at a distance from the Wing level immediately before or after this. Especially if that Image capture device is located at a different point in the room than Above the wing (1a, 1b), the detection direction can be horizontal, obliquely be directed upwards or diagonally downwards towards the door. Preferably however is the optics 61 of the image capture 6 in the vertical or almost vertical direction directed up or down.
- the image capture device 6 has a two-part Optics 61 so that one part of the optics 61 covers the detection area 9 on the secures a door side and the second part of the optics 61 covers the detection area on the opposite side of the door (not shown). Per Door system 1 then only one image capture device 6 is required. As another Possibility can also the detection direction of the image capture device 6 Reach through the wing level, both the side in front of the wing level and the side behind the wing plane is detected. This configuration is suitable especially for sliding door systems with glass leaves.
- FIG. 2 shows an exemplary embodiment which is mounted on an automatic swing door 1 is installed.
- the partially opened rotary wing 1a is shown, which on its left vertical edge is hinged to the door frame 12 via two door hinges 11.
- a motorized door drive 8 is arranged above the door leaf 1 a has a conventional structure, e.g. described in DE OS 32 02 930.
- the drive housing 81 is in the illustration in Figure 2 on the frame assembled.
- the output shaft 82 has a force-transmitting slide arm 83 coupled, which is guided in a slide rail 84 arranged on the wing.
- the door opener 8 contains an electric drive motor 5 for opening and closing the door 1 as well as the evaluation unit 7a and a control unit 7b.
- the statements relating to FIGS. 1, 5 and 6 apply accordingly to their functioning.
- An image capturing device 6, preferably a CCD camera, is also attached above the door 1. Their direction of detection is directed vertically or almost vertically downwards. A representation of the detection area secured in this way can be seen in FIG. 4.
- An application is also on Revolving doors or arched doors possible, as well as basically on all motor-driven wings, such as on windows or the like.
- Figure 3 shows a section along the floor level in Figure 1, from the Viewing direction of the image capture device 6.
- The is shown in dashed lines Detection area 9 of the image capture device 6, which extends from the wall 2 extends in a semicircle into the space in front of the door leaves 1a, 1b.
- Detection area 9 of the image capture device 6 which extends from the wall 2 extends in a semicircle into the space in front of the door leaves 1a, 1b.
- the Geometry of the surface depending on the optics 61 of the image capture device 6 does not necessarily have to be semicircular.
- the only decisive factor is that the Detection area 9 areas in the vicinity of door 1, in particular in the Includes range of movement of the door leaf 1a, 1b, which was previously usually by several sensors were recorded individually and are now explained in more detail below become.
- this is also advantageous detects when a person approaches door 1 from the side.
- One person in this area is recognized by the evaluation unit 7a and depending on it Direction of movement initiated an opening or closing of the door 1.
- the minimum size of the one Object selectable upon detection the evaluation means 7a triggering initiate door 1.
- This object size is determined by the evaluation unit 7a Difference to conventional motion detectors also recognized. Leaves it derive a safety function that the door opening then, for example does not fire when an infant or animal approaches the door.
- the area of the main closing edge 92 is also affected by the Image capture device 6 captured and secured.
- the evaluation unit 7a recognizes whether there is a person between the door leaves 1a, 1b or whether there is a person Object is there. It is in the device according to the invention from Advantage that the entire main closing edge 92 is detected in the vertical direction becomes. An underflow by small children, such as in one Photoelectric barrier is possible is excluded here.
- the evaluation unit 7a can the presence of one person in the area of the main closing edge 92 to everyone Recognize the time. In contrast to the usual contact strips or Hollow profiles, it is not necessary here that the door closes first and on the Obstacle hits to recognize it. It comes at a very early stage Avoid closing the door when a person or an object is in the Area of the main closing edge.
- the fixed field 93 is the area that the door leaves 1a, 1b open when they open is run over. There is a small gap between the wing 1a, 1b and the wall 2 remains, there is a risk of jamming of objects or one hand.
- This area is also protected by the image capture device 6 and the Evaluation unit 7a gives control unit 7b a signal that the door is opening prevents when a person or an object is in the area of the fixed field located. Alternatively, it is also possible that the door is only reached shortly before of the obstacle opens and then stops. Also the current position of the door leaves 1a, 1b is detected by the evaluation unit 7a at any time. It would be conceivable that Evaluation unit 7a or the control unit 7b with an acoustic, optical or electrical warning signal, which is triggered when a Person for a long time in the area of the main closing edge 92 or Fixed field 93 stops and thus prevents closing or opening of door 1.
- a failure of the door mechanics or door electronics, which results in a malfunction in the movement sequence of the door leaves 1a, 1b noticeable, or a failure, or A malfunction of the image capture device 6 is reported by the evaluation unit 7a preferably recognized in a self-diagnosis function. Furthermore, from the evaluation unit 7a using the image capture device 6 respective position, speed and acceleration of the wings 1a, 1b detected and transfer the determined values to the control unit 7b. Finally, you can the evaluation means self-learning during commissioning the door type and Detect the range of movement of the wings 1a, 1b, in particular their end positions. In addition, the evaluation unit 7a can be connected to a central alarm system which is used for the security monitoring of the door.
- Figure 4 shows a section along the floor level in Figure 2. Dashed the detection area 9 of the camera 6 is shown, which extends from the wall 2 extends semicircularly into the space in front of the door leaves 1a.
- the Detection area 9 here includes the approach area 91 Main closing edge 92, the secondary closing edge 94, and also the Swivel range 95 of the door leaf 1a. This ensures that Secondary closing edge analogous to securing the main closing edge, as shown below Figure 3 is described.
- the detection of the door leaf pivot area 95 is intended to prevent an opening or closing door leaf 1 a from hitting a person or an object standing in the pivot area 95. If a person or an object is detected here, the door movement is stopped or reversed. Furthermore, the statements relating to FIG. 3 can also be transferred to FIG. 4.
- the evaluation electronics can divide the monitored room into different zones. The zones are shown in FIGS. 5 and 6 in the case of exemplary embodiments of different sliding door systems.
- the sliding door systems each have two sliding panels 1a, 1b and two fixed panel panels 2a, 2b.
- the camera 6 is in the wing plane of the sliding leaf 1a, 1b via the sliding leaf, for. B. arranged on a support, not shown, or in the area of the drive units of the motor drive.
- Zones A and B are located in the proximity area in front of and behind the door opening area. It is e.g. B. so-called dynamic zones, in which a movement and / or direction detection of the person is possible. Zone C is directly in the sash level of the sliding sashes 1a, 1b, that is in the door opening area. It is e.g. B. a so-called static zone for detecting people present in the door opening area. Furthermore, zone F is present in the area of the fixed field wing that is overrun by the secondary closing edge of the sliding wing 1b, 1c for securing the fixed field, ie in order to detect or prevent crushing and shearing points in the area between the secondary closing edge and the fixed field wing.
- the Wings can be rotatably or linearly supported. Special advantages result from applications on automatic revolving doors and sliding doors as well as revolving doors.
- the camera 6 has a lens which is made of material which adapts itself to the brightness of the surroundings. It is material that automatically darkens when the brightness is high and automatically becomes more translucent as the brightness decreases. Furthermore, the camera has a detection device that can detect possible contamination of the optics and emits a signal in the event of contamination.
- the evaluation device of the camera is designed such that the Areas of the detection area are evaluated for the current required action of the drive are necessary.
