Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a rotary dobby for ordering heald frames mounted on a loom and a loom equipped with such a dobby.
  • the movement alternating vertical heald frames is provided by oscillating parts which can be formed, according to the case, by rod-lever assemblies or by roller-bearing levers, these oscillating parts being controlled by elements actuation in the form of an eccentric in the first case or cam in the second.
  • actuating elements are mounted on a main mechanical shaft which is animated by a intermittent rotation movement and, at each stop, makes all the U-turns, from the aforementioned shaft, the reading must, at each of the dobby blades, that is to say the actuation unit associated with each frame smooth, and depending on the design or weave to be obtained on the fabric being woven, securing the actuating element either with the shaft, to control the oscillating part, or with a fixed point in order to operate the angular immobilization of the latter.
  • This selective joining is generally obtained at using a movable key-shaped coupling member or ratchet subjected to the action of two pivoting levers arranged on either side of the tree in order to activate this movable member at the two stop positions thereof, each pair of pivoting levers being placed under the dependence of the dobby reading device.
  • the invention relates to a rotary dobby for a weaving loom comprising, at each of its blades, an oscillating part coupled to a heald frame and associated with an actuator mounted mad on a shaft main of said dobby, a movable coupling member carried by a plate secured to the actuating element, said movable member being subjected to elastic means for operate the angular connection of said plate with a disc integral with said shaft, the control of said movable coupling member being ensured by means of two subject pivoting levers, of a part to the action of a reading device and, secondly to that of elastic means which tend to engage the spouts of levers with one of two wedging surfaces of said tray.
  • This dobby is characterized in that, when said levers are in engagement with said surfaces of jamming, that of said levers which is not located on the side of the movable coupling member is out of reach of a actuator belonging to said reading device.
  • the actuator or pusher of the reading device when the actuator or pusher of the reading device is deflected towards a lever which is out of reach, there is no physical contact between their respective surfaces, so that the lever and the actuator do not are not subjected to a shock that can cause the fatigue of their respective constituent materials.
  • the multiple blades belonging to a dobby we can count that about 50% of them are in such a position that the lever on the side of the coupling pawl must not be operated so that, thanks to the invention, in around 50% of cases, no leverage is not moved by the actuator.
  • the invention therefore makes it possible to forecast a lower energy consumption of the dobby than that of the dobbies of the prior art in which, at each U-turn of the main shaft, we must systematically move a lever for each heald frame.
  • the tray carries a radial extension defining a first wedging surface, this first wedging surface being distant from the axis of rotation of the shaft by a distance greater than the distance between a second surface of jamming, diametrically opposite to said first surface of jamming on said plate, of this axis of rotation.
  • the invention therefore takes advantage of the elements or parts which pre-exist on the dobby of the invention, so that the invention can be carried out particularly economical, including on a known dobby, at the price of slight modifications, i.e. by increasing the distance one of the wedging surfaces relative to the main axis of rotation on each tray of the dobby.
  • the first wedge surface is a wedge surface passive of the plate while the second wedging surface is an active or controlled wedging surface of the tray.
  • the lever in engagement with the passive jamming surface is the one that is cleared out range of the pusher or actuator of the reading device.
  • the spout of each pivoting lever has a bearing surface external and an internal bearing surface, said surfaces of staves with angles at the top of different values. Thanks to this aspect of the invention, the range of motion angularity of each lever can be provided lower than that which would be necessary if the spans allowing to cooperate respectively with the two surfaces of jamming had heights that add up.
  • the invention finally relates to a loom equipped with a dobby as previously described.
  • the dobby represented in FIG. 1 comprises a main shaft 1 animated by an intermittent rotational movement with stopping every half-turn.
  • This shaft 1 receives a series of bearings in number equal to that of the heald frames or looms of the loom.
  • On each bearing is mounted an eccentric eccentric 2 laterally secured to a plate 3.
  • On each eccentric 2 is mounted convinced the opening of a connecting rod 4 whose free end is harnessed to a pivoting arm 5 which ensures, thanks to a cable 6 a , the vertical displacement of the heald frame 6 of the envisaged blade, shown very schematically.
  • the shaft 1 Between two contiguous eccentrics 2, the shaft 1, provided grooved, carries a drive disc 7 which is integral with it and the periphery of which is cut out by two radial notches 7 which are diametrically opposite one another. These notches 7 a are intended to selectively receive the terminal finger 8 a of a pawl 8 articulated on an axis 9 carried by the lateral plate 3 of the corresponding eccentric 2.
  • a spring 10 tends to permanently return the finger 8 a from the pawl 8 in the direction of the shaft 1.
  • each pawl 8 The control of each pawl 8 is ensured using two pivoting levers 11 carried at articulation by axes fixed 12 oriented parallel to the shaft 1.
  • Each lever 11 has a generally angled profile and is stressed by a spring 13 in order to bear against a fixed stop corresponding 14.
  • Each lever 11 comprises an actuating tail 15 likely to be selectively controlled by a pusher or actuator 16 belonging to the reading device of the dobby.
  • the pusher 16 is mounted on a flange 16 'animated by a back and forth movement by pivoting around the fixed axis 12 of one of the levers 11 for example under the action of a mechanism not shown. It would also be possible to predict that the flange 16 'is articulated on an axis other than the axis 12.
  • pusher 16 is moved in the direction of the tails 15 of the levers 11.
  • a 16 "control device, for example electromagnetic, allows to control the pusher 16 in rotation around its axis of attachment to the flange 16 '. This piloting is shown by arrow F 'in Figure 1.
  • each lever 11 has a spout 17 capable of cooperating with two wedging surfaces 18 and 19 formed on the periphery of the plate 3. Thanks to the spouts 17 and the wedging surfaces 18 and 19, the plate 3 can be immobilized in two positions separated by a rotation 180 ° of the plate 3 depending on whether the spout 17 shown to the left of Figure 1 cooperates with the surface 18 while the spout 17 shown on the right cooperates with the surface 19 ( Figure 1), or that the spout 17 shown on the left cooperates with the surface 19 while the spout 17 shown on the right cooperates with the surface 18 ( Figure 3).
  • the wedging surface 18 is formed on a radial extension 3 'of the plate 3.
  • the distance D 1 separating the wedging surface 18, that is to say the end of the extension 3', from the axis XX 'of rotation of the shaft 1 is greater than the distance D 2 separating the notch 19 from the axis XX'.
  • the pusher 16 is oriented by the device 16 "control in the direction of lever 11 located on the left of figure 1. As it is out of reach of the pusher 16, no shock takes place between this pusher 16 and the lever 11 located on the left of Figure 1, so that no noise is only generated, the metal which constitutes the lever 11 and / or the pusher 16 is not stressed in fatigue.
  • lever 17 located on the left of figure 1 is not activated in this position because it participates in a passive jamming of the tray 3 in this position. In other words, it is not necessary to act on lever 11 located on the left of the Figure 1 because it is automatically cleared during the rotation of the plate 3.
  • the plate 3 is shown after a rotation of 180 ° from its position in figure 1.
  • the lever 11 located on the right of the figure 3 is pushed back by pivoting about its axis 12, in the trigonometrically, so it's out of reach pusher 16.
  • the pusher 16 is oriented towards lever 11 located on the right in Figure 3 and can be moved back and forth or "hammer" transmitted to him by the 16 'flange on which he is mounted without this movement causing a shock between the actuator 16 and one of the levers 11.
  • a single 16 'flange can carry all of the actuators used for each of the dobby blades in giving them the same back and forth movement represented by arrows F in Figures 1 and 3. Only the steering movement in rotation represented by the arrows F 'in FIGS. 1 and 3 must be carried out individually by the devices electromagnetic 16 "on the actuators 16 of the dobby the invention.
  • the geometry of the spouts which are identical since they can selectively cooperate with each of the wedging surfaces 18 and 19, is defined so that they each have an outer surface 20 and a internal bearing surface 21 respectively able to cooperate with wedging surfaces 19 and 18.
  • the outer bearing surface 20 has a geometry adapted to press against the surfaces delimiting the notch 19. We note ⁇ the angle at the top of this bearing surface 20.
  • An inner bearing surface 21 is defined hollow in the spout 17 and we note ⁇ its angle at the top. The geometry of the bearing surface 21 is defined so that it is capable of pressing against the external surface of a tooth 18 a belonging to the wedging surface 18, as shown in FIG. 5.
  • the angle at the top ⁇ is greater than the angle at vertex ⁇ , so that it is easier to clear the beak 17 when it cooperates with the surface 18 than when it cooperates with the surface 19, which is close to the operating mode of the dobby of the invention in which the jamming obtained with surface 18 is "passive" while the jamming obtained with notch 19 is "active".
  • the bearing surface 21 has a height H 2 which can be different from the height H 1 of the bearing surface 20. It is noted in particular that the internal bearing 21 is formed in the thickness of the external bearing 20, that is that is, the height H 2 is less than the height H 1 .
  • the angle at the top of the internal span 21 has a value less than the angle at the top of the outer span 20.
  • This configuration can be used when a jam effective or "active" must be performed on a corresponding tooth to tooth 18 of Figure 5 while the exhaust from the scope 20 must be facilitated.
  • This configuration can be used when the wedging surface with a tooth is disposed near the end of the pawl 8.
  • a loom equipped with a dobby as above described can operate faster, with less of energy, generating less wear and making less noise as a loom equipped with an art dobby prior.
  • the description which above was given only as an example and does not in no way limits the scope of the invention. It is understood, in particular, that the invention is likely to be applied to dobbies in which the actuating elements are not made up of eccentrics associated with connecting rods, but by cams profiles for controlling roller levers coupled to heald frames 6. In the same way and although the pawls tilting seems the most advantageous embodiment for the movable coupling members, however, use a keyway mechanism with radial displacement. Similarly, the movable coupling member can be composed of several parts, for example two hooks, two latches or two keys.
