Claims (10)
- Vorrichtung zum Umreifen von Packstücken mit einem Umreifungsmittel, insbesondere einem thermoplastischen Band, welches von einem Umreifungsmittelvorrat in einen das Packstück umgebenden Umreifungsmittelführungskanal ein- und durch diesen hindurch einem Umreifungsmittel-Verschlußaggregat zugeführt wird und wobei Mittel zum Straffen des Umreifungsmittels um das Packstück herum vorgesehen sind, die eine drehantreibbare Spanntrommel umfassen, welche einen diametralen Umreifungsmittel-Durchgangsspalt und zwei durch den Umreifungsmittel-Durchgangsspalt voneinander distanzierte Trommelsegmente umfaßt, auf deren Umfangsflächen das Umreifungsmittel zum Spannen aufwickelbar ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß wenigstens eines der beiden Trommelsegmente (30) relativ zu dem anderen Trommelsegment (29) spaltverengend beweglich ist und am Ende seiner Bewegung zusammen mit dem anderen Trommelsegment eine Umreifungsmittelklemme (40) ausbildet.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das bewegliche Trommelsegment (30) allein aufgrund der Zugkraft des umschlingenden Umreifungsmittels (14) in Klemmstellung bewegbar ist.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das bewegliche Trommelsegment (30) aus seiner den Umreifungsmittel-Durchgangsspalt (22) definierenden Stellung entgegen einer Federkraft in Klemmstellung bewegbar ist.
- Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das bewegliche Trommelsegment (30) um eine parallel zur Drehachse (33) der Spanntrommel (19) verlaufende Schwenkachse (32) bewegbar ist.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Schwenkachse (32) zur Umreifungsmittelklemme (40) hin versetzt angeordnet ist.
- Vorrichtung nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Trommelsegmente (29, 30) an einem gemeinsamen drehangetriebenen Träger (28) befestigt bzw. angelenkt sind.
- Vorrichtung nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Federkraft aus einer sich am Träger (28) und dem beweglichen Trommelsegment (30) abstützenden Feder (36) resultiert.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Feder (36) eine im wesentlichen in einer Ausnehmung (35) des beweglichen Trommelsegments (30) angeordnete Druckfeder ist.
- Vorrichtung einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß zwischen der Spanntrommel (19) und dem Umreifungsmittel-Verschlußaggregat (15) eine gesteuerte Umreifungsmittelklemme (20) angeordnet ist, die das gestraffte Umreifungsmittel (14) nach dem Spannen durch die Spanntrommel (19) festhält, während das Umreifungsmittel-Verschlußaggregat (15) den Umreifungsmittelverschluß (52) ausbildet und die Spanntrommel (19) in Ausgangslage reversiert.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Spanntrommel (19) motorisch in ihre Ausgangslage rückdrehbar ist.
