Claims (4)

  1. Procédé de façonnage d'un métal semi-solide, dans lequel un alliage. d'aluminium ou de magnésium fondu contenant un agent d'affinage de grains cristallins qui eat maintenu surchauffé à moins de 50 °C au-dessus de la température de liquidus, est directement versé dans un récipient de conservation sans employer de système de refroidissement, et conservé pendant une période de 30 s à 30 minutes pendant laquelle la coulée est refroidie jusqu'à la température de moulage à laquelle une fraction liquide spécifiée se forme, de sorte qu'on laisse la température de l'alliage coulé qui est liquide et surchauffé à moins de 10 °C audessus de sa température de liquidus, ou qui est partiellement solide, partiellement liquide à moins de 5 °C an-dessous de la température de liquidus, diminuer à partir du niveau initial et traverser une zone de température à 5 °C sous la température de liquidus en 10 minutes, ce par quoi de fins cristaux primaires sont générés dans ladite 'solution d'alliage, et l'alliage est récupéré du récipient de conservation, introduit dans un moule de façonnage et façonné sous pression.
  2. Procédé selon la revendication 1, dans lequel l'alliage d'aluminium contient de 0,03 % à 0,30 % de Ti ajouté, et est surchauffé à moine de 30 °C au-dessus de la température de liquidus lorsqu'il est coulé dans le récipient de conservation
  3. Procédé selon la revendication 1, dans lequel l'alliage d'aluminium contient de 0,005 % à 0,30 % de Ti et de 0,001 % à 0,01 % de B ajoutés, et il est surchauffé à moins de 50 °C au-dessus de la température de liquidus lorsqu'il est coulé dans le récipient de conservation.
  4. Procédé selon la revendication 1, dans lequel la température de l'alliage coulé dans le récipient de conservation est maintenue en ajustant la température par chauffage par induction, de sorte qu'on laisse les températures des diverses parties dudit alliage dans ledit récipient de conservation, chuter dans la plage de température de moulage requise pour former une fraction liquide spécifiée pas plus tard qu'au début du façonnage.
