Definitions
- the invention relates to a machine for reprofiling corrugated roofing materials.
- Corrugated materials are made in particular from fibrous material, impregnated with bitumen and coated or painted.
- the channel tiles can be placed directly on the undulations, whose shape ensures their wedging.
- battens weakens the roofing which has tendency to deform, the weight of the battens and tiles being almost entirely supported by the top of ripples.
- battens and the support and burden sharing occurs in a non- negligible in the cost of roofing. They also can partially block the passage of air between tiles and the roofing.
- the profile of the counter-bars being complementary to that of the reprofiling bars, the reprofiling and counterform bars being placed on either side of the plane of the support bars so that that part of said bars is opposite and the translational movements of the reprofiling bars and opposite counterform taking place substantially perpendicular to the plane of the support bars.
- the machine comprises a first frame 1, supporting bars 2 serving as shapes for reprofiling a material previously wavy 3.
- the machine also includes a second frame 4, on which is mounted a block 5, supporting bars 6 serving of counter-forms.
- Block 5 is slidably mounted on slides fixed to the frame 4. This allows the distance between reprofiling bars 2 and counter-form bars 6.
- the material 3 was previously corrugated by a machine of any type which is not shown on Figure 1.
- the profile of the corrugations is also any.
- the material is generally made of cardboard damp, felt or any other malleable material.
- the material is brought, by a device not shown in the figure, on support bars 7.
- the bars are, preferably, those of the chain 8 of the dryer.
- This solution has the advantage of avoiding the handling of materials 9 coming out wet from the reprofiling machine, before entering the dryer tunnel 10.
- the materials are removed from the support bars 7, when they come out of the dryer 10.
- the direction of circulation materials 9 on the chain 8 of the dryer is indicated by arrow F.
- each reprofiling bar 2 is fixed, via a support 14, on a chain endless 11, driven in rotation by two shafts 12 parallel, via transmission devices 48.
- the shafts are mounted in bearings 13 fixed to the frame 1.
- the reprofiling bars 2 are parallel to the shafts 12.
- the supports 14 are, in the example shown, perpendicular to the chain 11 and movable in translation compared to the latter.
- the counter bars are fixed, by through a support 15, on an endless chain 16, driven in rotation by two parallel shafts 17, through transmission 49.
- the shafts 17 are mounted in bearings 18 fixed to the frame 1.
- the counter-bars 6 are parallel to the trees 18.
- the supports 15 are, in the example shown, perpendicular to the chain 16 and movable in translation compared to the latter.
- the reprofiling and counterform bars are, for elsewhere, parallel to the bars 7 of the dryer.
- sheet 3 of corrugated material is supported by the bars 7 of the dryer.
- the material 9 which leaves the reprofiling machine has a profile corresponding to that of the reprofiling bars 7 and counter-form bars 6.
- the bars reprofiling 2 are fixed two by two on the chain without end 11, via a support 14. This allows simplify the realization of the machine.
- the section of the reshaping bars is substantially rectangular.
- each bar 2 has also projecting elements 19.
- Figure 4 illustrates more precisely how the reprofiling bars 2 are connected to the chain without end 11.
- the reprofiling bars are relatively long. This is why the endless chain 11 preferably consists of two elements 20, connected by support bars 21.
- each reprofiling bar 2 comprises at least one element 22 movable in translation relative to the support bar 21. Depending on the length of the reprofiling 2, several elements 22 can be provided.
- the machine illustrated in Figure 4 has three, for each bar 21.
- a yoke 23 On the side opposite to the reprofiling bar 2, is fixed, on element 22, a yoke 23 carrying a bearing 24.
- elastic means 25 such as a spring.
- the machine waving also has a slide 26 which is fixed to the first frame 1. It has a first part 27 in bias, deviating from the plane of the trees 12, a second part 28 parallel to this plane and a third part 29 in bias, approaching this plane.
- the previously corrugated material 3 runs continuously on the bars 7 of the dryer.
- a reshaping bar comes next to the slide 26. Its bearing 24 comes first in contact with the first part 27 of the slide. This causes the movable element 22 to translate corresponding, towards the plane of the bars 7 of the dryer.
- the reshaping bar changes the profile of the corrugated material.
- the top of the undulations is flattened and bosses are formed in the corrugations.
- the bearing 24 then comes into contact with the third part 29 of the slide.
- the moving element 22 then performs a translational movement which moves it away, like the reprofiling bar 2, from the plane of the bars 7 of the dryer.
- part 30 of the chain 11 is parallel to the plane of the support bars 7 and the reprofiling bars 2 are fixed orthogonally to the chain.
- Other embodiments may be provided, in which the bars of reprofiling move, in translation, perpendicular to the plane of the support bars.
- the reprofiling bars cannot modify correctly the profile of the undulations as far as where a counterform is provided on the other side of the material to wave.
- the chain 16 is, preferably consisting of two elements 30, connected by support bars 31.
- Counter bars 6 are fixed to the chain endless by a support 15, which comprises: at least one mobile element 32 passing through a guide member 33 fixed to the support bar 31 and a system 34 for supporting the bar 6, connected to the movable element 32 by means appropriate 35.
- Support system 34 is also required when the bar 6 is relatively long.
- the support 31 is common to two counter-form bars 6, to reduce the manufacturing cost of the machine.
- the yoke 36 is connected to the guide member 33 by elastic means 39, such as a spring.
- the mobile element 32 is mobile in translation relative to the support bar 31 and to the guide 33 and perpendicular thereto.
- the machine has two movable elements 32.
- each bar 6 has recessed parts 47, corresponding to projecting elements 19 of the reprofiling bars 2.
- the reprofiling and counterform bars are fixed in the machine so that the projecting elements 19 can be inserted into the recessed parts 47 when the bars are next to each other.
- the machine waving also includes at least one cam 40, driven in rotation by a shaft 41. This is rotatably mounted in a bearing 50 fixed to block 5.
- the cam 40 has a plurality of projections 42. On provides as many cams as 32 elements for a bar undulator.
- a slide 43 comprising a first zone 44 parallel to the plane of the bars 7 of the dryer and a second zone 45 at an angle, deviating from this plan.
- the machine has a slide associated with each cam.
- Counter bars 6 are brought by the chain 16 in part 46 of the chain where they are opposite bars of the dryer, the part 46 being parallel to the plane dryer bars.
- the support 15 of the bars is then also perpendicular to this plane.
- the bars 6 are in the high position and are not in contact with the material 3 previously corrugated.
- Each counterform bar next comes of a projection 42 of the cam 40, and this projection is in support on the element 24 fixed to the mobile element 32.
- the projection 42 pushes the moving element 32, which causes the translation of the counterform bar 6, perpendicular to the plane bars 7 of the dryer and in the direction of this plane.
- the counterform bar 6 is in the low position.
- the elastic means 39 are then compressed and found in the position illustrated in Figure 5.
- Each counterform bar 6 is held in low position as long as the bearing 37 is in contact with the first part of the slide which is parallel to the plan of the bars 7 of the dryer.
- any other embodiment of the second part of the machine could be provided, as long as the translational movements of the counterform bars 6 take place perpendicular to the plane of the bars support, when the bars 6 are opposite the bars of support.
- the cam 40 is provided in the second part of the machine because the movement of the counterform bars is of greater amplitude than that of the bars of reprofiling.
- the endless chains 11 and 16 are synchronized, from so that a counterform bar 6 is opposite a reprofiling bar 2, in parts 30 and 46 of chains 11 and 16 which are parallel to the plane of the bars of the dryer.
- the distance between the reprofiling bars 2 in high position and the counter bars 6 in position low is adjusted so that the corrugated material 3 either pinched between a reshaping bar and a against form.
- the counter bars are placed in the hollows in the corrugations of the material 3.
- the setting is obtained by appropriately positioning block 5 by relation to the frame 4.
- the slides 26, respectively 43 allow to maintain, thanks to their first part 28, respectively 44, the reprofiling bars 2 in position high, respectively the counter-bars 6 in low position.
- the desired profile can thus be formed of stably and the stresses in the material are reduced.
- the reprofiling and counterform bars being movable in translation, perpendicular to the plane of bars 7 of the dryer, they can easily come in contact with the corrugated material and retract, whatever the shape and the amplitude of the undulations of the material to reprofile.
- the material therefore has a profile semi-trapezoidal.
- the material 9 has recessed areas 52, which are distributed along parallel lines between them and perpendicular to the corrugations 50.
- the flattening of the top of the waves is obtained thanks to reprofiling bars 2 and to counterform bars 6.
- the recessed areas 52 are formed by the elements in projection 19 which are inserted into the hollow parts 47.
- the material shown in Figure 6 is more particularly intended for the realization of sub-roofs in flat tenon tiles.
- the distance between two zones in hollow is chosen according to the space between the nose and the heel of the flat tiles considered.
- the depth of recessed areas is chosen to be able to receive and retain the studs of these tiles.
- the frame is first of all covered with plates made of a material such as that illustrated in the figure 6, the corrugations being placed according to the slope of the roof.
- the semi-trapezoidal profile of the material 9 strengthens resistance and provides a contact surface important between the flat tiles and the undulations.
- the reprofiling machine according to the invention makes it possible to make other materials than the one illustrated in the figure 6. To do this, simply modify the bars reprofiling 2 as well as the counterform bars 6 corresponding.
- the corrugated material 3 may not have regular ripples as illustrated on figures. It can for example present an alternation waves and flat areas. In this case, it is necessary to modify the chains of the reprofiling bars and counter-form bars to adapt them to this material.
