Definitions
- the invention relates to a drain fitting for the sanitary area with one in the Drain hole of the washbasin, the sink or the shower tray inserted Drain valve body and one with a knurled nut and an adjustment tube with it connected pipe bend and then and on the pipe bend and on the Wall-mounted drain connection.
- Sanitary drain fittings for sinks, sinks, shower trays and the like are provided with a part that can be fixed in the drain hole, which also includes the Contains drain valve body. This is needed to get water in the sink, in backwater in the sink or in the shower tray. On these parts Using a knurled nut, a pipe bend is attached, which connects to the produces drainage pipes leading into the wall. The elbow is called Odor trap is required, which is why it usually has a U-shaped body represents.
- Odor trap is required, which is why it usually has a U-shaped body represents.
- the disadvantage is that both at the transition area between Drain valve body and elbow, as well as between elbows and Drainage knurled nuts must be provided to the necessary establish a tight connection.
- the object of the invention is to connect a water-bearing pipe bend to improve a drain fitting so that it is easy with a secure seal is to be assembled.
- the double O-ring seal ensures targeted guidance, which leads into each other pushing connector and acts at the same time sealing and through the double arrangement anti-slip, so that an optimized sealing element is realized.
- the invention provides that between Knurled nut and the adjusting tube arranged as a 180 ° bend is releasably connected to the drain valve body via the knurled nut and with its connector can be inserted into the pipe bend and at the opposite end a board with flat seals is formed.
- the adjustment tube is in advance connected to the drain valve body, this work being easy to perform because both parts are axially pluggable and connectable to each other without there must be a second connection at the other end of the tube.
- the elbow be pushed onto the discharge pipe at the same time as the adjusting pipe, whereby due to the length of the adjustment tube, practical adjustments to different heights attached drainage nozzles are possible without further preparation.
- the drain pipe will be shortened to connect at all to make possible.
- the adjustment tube which is basically the drain valve body such preparatory work and adjustment work are no longer necessary. Since there is now no need for a screw connection when attaching the pipe bend, the Assembly further simplified and shortened in time.
- An effective seal of the adjustment pipe against the drain valve body can be achieved according to the invention in that the board of the adjusting tube Flat seal is receiving and supporting, so that with the tightening or unscrewing the knurled nut of the drain valve body or its corresponding one Connection end is pressed onto the flat gasket. An always tight connection is so safe to manufacture.
- the flat gasket can be fitted into a recess in the thread of the knurled nut is designed so that it is captively connected to this component and thus is always available when such an adjustment tube with a drain valve body is to be connected.
- the area of Thread sealed with, so that the escape of odors is absolutely prevented can be.
- the further from the already mentioned double O-ring seal is especially and represented in an advantageous manner by the pipe bend both on the adjusting pipe receiving end as well as at the end of the drain pipe with beads is provided, each designed to receive an O-ring of the double O-ring seal are.
- the O-rings are so in the beads that they when inserting the adjustment tube or the drain connector on the outer wall of this component and effect the desired sealing. They are housed so that here too special care during assembly is not required. Rather, they can individual parts are simply plugged into each other.
- the interlocking without problems is particularly given when the Beads spaced apart and the O-rings with more than 50%, preferably 80% of their scope are fully trained. This prevents that the O-rings maybe with the insertion of the adjustment pipe or also the drain socket be taken away by this. Due to the special encirclement of the O-rings and their diameter is such an accidental take and move excluded with the necessary security.
- connection problems exclude in the area of the drain pipe, in particular an adjustment with regard to the Avoid length. Since this is secured by the adjustment tube, the corresponding can End piece of the drain pipe are assumed to be given, then the Production of the connector can be simplified in that at least the Drain connector with an outer bead that snaps between the two beads of the pipe bend is equipped. When the pipe bend is attached, it snaps into place in the area of the outer bead so that the user knows that the pipe bend already has reached the optimal position. The attachment of such an outer bead is relatively simple or can already with the production of the drain pipe be taken into account.
- the insertion of the adjustment pipe and drain pipe into the pipe bend is according to the invention further simplified in that the introducers one to the center of the tube have pointing, arch-shaped development.
- This bend in particular prevents the introducer from sticking to the O-ring or other parts and then difficult to insert the ends. It is advantageously not even necessary quasi to create an insertion funnel, but it is enough if the bend is arcuate, so as to slide past the O-rings and the Lightening beads. Since it can not always be prevented that the elbow and the drainage pipe is at a certain angle to each other, so it is independent of in any position, the insertion of the adjustment pipe and drain pipe into the Pipe bend ensured.
- Too far insertion of the adjustment pipe and drain pipe into the pipe bend is prevented in a simple manner that the pipe bend on both Ends has a diameter recess provided at a distance from the beads. This automatically prevents it from being pushed in too far and at the same time prevents it Maximum insertion length is mandatory.
- the Adjustment pipe and the drain pipe are made of sheet brass and that the pipe bend is a plastic pipe component. It is quite conceivable, one more or use less clear plastic, especially with less frequently used sanitary facilities to be able to easily check whether the by the Water is always guaranteed in the U-bend of the pipe bend is. It is conceivable that, as with brass tubes, the individual O-rings with one that facilitates insertion and automatically prevents it from being moved as well Silicone coating can be provided. It is also conceivable also to make the adjustment pipe and the drainage pipe from plastic, whereby a connection or an assembly exactly as with the brass pipes described is possible.
- the 180 ° elbow used for all wash basins and similar devices, the training described and claimed here has the advantage that so that there is a precisely defined insertion limit, since the receptacle of the Pipe bend on the discharge nozzle at the end of an insertion limit for the insertion piece is formed forming.
- the corresponding slide-in piece of the drain connector is thus precisely recorded, guided and then with the insertion limit on another Prevented from inserting into the receptacle.
- the slot limitation does not run forcibly around the receptacle or the pipe bend. Rather, it is enough when the shelf limit is formed by about 50% and then shaped to expire is. Due to the double O-ring seals used, any leakage will occur prevents both moisture and water and gas. In order to the required optimal odor trap has been reached.
- the 180 ° elbow is the usual component for sinks and. facilities, solutions deviating from this are also conceivable due to space constraints like bidets.
- a training expediently Invention for use which is characterized in that the pipe bend as 100 up to 150 °, preferably 135 ° bend with a 90 and a 45 ° approach and in which the 45 ° approach with the 45 ° angled drain connection or whose insert has a corresponding receiving piece.
- This one too Training is thus the necessary seal created, which is here under Possibly still in the middle of the water column, so that its tightness is of particular importance.
- the drain connector is also angled accordingly, so that the sealing water column is always present without the quasi-automatic Push in and position the pipe bend once on the drain connector and on the other hand on the adjustment tube of the bidet.
- This one too Training, the plug options are the same, making it simple and safe Assembly guaranteed.
- the pipe bend is a receptacle has, the wall of which is axially parallel with the connecting wall of the Push-in pieces is designed to run so that the described insertion limitation is also achieved here, but at the same time a simple and secure connection in two coupling areas.
- the invention is particularly characterized in that a drain fitting is created, the essential advantages over those of the assembly Has state of the art. Can be practically without any adjustment of the drain connection the newly installed washbasin, for example, over the elbow with the drain connection get connected. The ends of the pipe bend are simply on the introducer of the drain connector and the adjustment pipe pushed on and the assembly is already completed. There is no need to match the individual pipes exactly align because twist locks or slewing rings are not required are. Nevertheless, due to the O-rings used and the flat ring seal guaranteed that the required odor trap has been reached. is a revision is necessary or if constipation occurs, you only need that Pull off the elbow, clean it and put it back on. The individual parts belonging to the drain fitting are made of plastic or brass become.
- Fig. 1 shows a siphon, which is an essential part of a drain fitting 1.
- This pipe siphon is via a knurled nut 2 with the drain valve body, not shown here a sink, sink or shower tray.
- This knurled nut 2 is indirectly connected to a pipe bend 3 and then to the drain connection 4, which is inserted into the wall 17 and opposite this through the Rosette 16 is sealed or elegantly completed.
- the pipe bend 3 is on both sides with a special connector 6, 7 connected to the drain port 4 and the drain valve body, not shown.
- This Plug connection 6 is like Fig. 1, but in particular Figures 2 and 3 show from a double O-ring seal 8 or a double O-ring seal 9.
- drain valve body which is not shown here, connected to the pipe bend 3 via an adjusting pipe 10 is and via the knurled nut 2 in connection with the drain valve body brought.
- the adjusting tube 10 is provided with a rim 11 at the upper end.
- the flat seal 12 which in the outer ring region 13 in a Recess 14 of the thread 15 extends into it, which is particularly illustrated in FIG. 2.
- This bordering in the recess 14 is a captive housing reached the flat seal 12 with the adjusting tube 10. At the same time it can the area of the thread 15 can be effectively sealed.
- the beads 20, 21 and 22, 23 are arranged at a distance from each other To improve the sealing effect and in particular to achieve additional guidance.
- the O-ring 24 is inserted so far into the bead 20-23 that it also at Introduce the drain pipe 4 as well as the adjusting pipe 10 in the pipe bend 3 in its position is held securely.
- the inlet 30 of the drain port 4 is provided with a bend 31, which is designed to run in an arc shape, so as to facilitate the pushing on of the pipe bend 3 with the O-rings 24.
- Too far insertion of the drain pipe 4 in the pipe bend 3 or too wide pushing of the pipe bend 3 is also due to a diameter return 33 prevented, which is arranged at a relatively short distance from the beads 22, 23 is. Since the adjusting tube 10 serves to regulate during assembly, a corresponding one is provided here Security bead in the form of a diameter recess 32 essentially larger distance to the beads 20, 21 attached. It should be noted that both the beads 20, 21 as well as 22, 23 are introduced into the pipe bend 3, specifically relatively close to the end of the pipe bend 3, so that the manufacture of these parts, whether it is a brass tube or a plastic tube, is relatively simple.
- Fig. 1 clarifies for the person skilled in the art that the approximately U-shaped Pipe bend 3 simply and easily on the drain pipe 4 and the adjustment pipe 10 can be postponed, even if their position is not as precise as in Fig. 1 indicated. With simple steps it can be ensured that the pipe bend 3 is pushed over these ends, the plug connection 6 and 7 is also completely sealed at the same time, so that the pipe bend 3 after assembly and after filling with water causes the odor trap. the he definitely has to portray.
- Fig. 4 corresponds in all essential parts of Fig. 1, only that here both Ends 18, 19 of the pipe bend 3 are provided with receiving pieces 40, the wall of which 41 axially parallel to the connecting wall 42 of the push-in pieces 43, 44 of the discharge nozzle 4 and adjustment tube 10 run.
- the receiving piece 40 is designed so that there is an insertion limit 45 for the insertion piece 44 of the drain pipe 4 results, as FIG. 4 clearly can be removed. This not only ensures that the seat is always the same and secure guaranteed, but also the insertion of the insertion piece 44 into the receiving piece 40 relieved. Not shown, but also mounted, the drain port 4 in the wall, not shown here.
