Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft einen Wärmetauscher, insbesondere Wasserkühler (1) für ein Kraftfahrzeug, mit zwei auf gegenüberliegenden Seiten angeordneten, vorzugsweise aus Kunststoff bestehenden Sammelkästen mit Längs-und Stirnwänden oder mit nur einem Sammelkasten sowie mit Rohrboden, dessen Öffnungen eine Vielzahl von Rohre aufnehmen, durch die ein Medium strömt, mit einem Eintritt und einem Austritt, sowie mit mindestens einer Trennwand im Sammelkasten, die einen Teil des Mediums zur nochmaligen Durchströmung des Wärmetauschers zwingt, um dasselbe weiter abzukühlen. Bei diesem Wärmetauscher wird eine Kostenreduzierung durch die Verwendung von im wesentlichen gleichen Bauteilen des Wärmetauschers mit oder ohne Niedertemperaturbereich dadurch erzielt, daß mindestens eine Einströmöffnung (2) in der Trennwand (3) und eine an diese anschließende Leitung (4), die zu einer Ablaßöffnung (5) und einer Abströmöffnung (6) führt sowie mindestens eine weitere Öffnung (7) aufweist, vorgesehen sind und dadurch, daß ein Verschlußstopfen (8) die Leitung (4) und die Ablaßöffnung (5) verschließt. The invention relates to a heat exchanger, in particular a water cooler (1) for a motor vehicle, with two collecting boxes arranged on opposite sides, preferably made of plastic, with longitudinal and end walls or with only one collecting box and with a tube plate, the openings of which accommodate a large number of tubes which flows a medium, with an inlet and an outlet, and with at least one partition in the collecting box, which forces a part of the medium to flow through the heat exchanger again in order to cool it further. In this heat exchanger, a cost reduction is achieved by using essentially the same components of the heat exchanger with or without a low-temperature range, in that at least one inflow opening (2) in the partition (3) and a line (4) connected to it lead to a drain opening (5) and an outflow opening (6) and at least one further opening (7), are provided and in that a sealing plug (8) closes the line (4) and the outlet opening (5).
