- the additives can be added to a base oil separately.
- the engine oil is preferably prepared by beforehand producing an additive composition comprising essential components which include a metal-containing detergent, an ashless dispersant that has been borated, zinc dithiophosphate, and the above-mentioned aliphatic amide compound, and optional components (generally dissolved or dispersed in a base oil at a high concentration); and then incorporating thus produced additive composition, a viscosity index improver and other optional components into a large amount of base oil.
- the additive composition is preferably prepared by mixing 100 weight parts of a metal-containing detergent, 10-700 weight parts of an ashless dispersant that has been borated, and 1-200 weight parts of the aliphatic amide compound.
- the engine oil of the present invention which is prepared by incorporating an ashless dispersant that has been borated in combination with an aliphatic amide compound and with an ester derived from a fatty acid and boric acid, shows high antiwear performance against wear of valve train system.
- the engine oil of the present invention which is prepared by incorporating a metal-containing detergent, zinc dithiophosphate (zinc dithiophosphate), an ashless dispersant that has been borated, and an aliphatic amide compound and with an ester derived from a fatty acid and boric acid into lubricating base oil, shows high antiwear performance against wear of valve train system, in spite of comparatively low phosphorus content and viscosity.

Claims (22)
- Phosphorarme Schmierölzusammensetzung für Verbrennungskraftmaschinen, umfassend(a) eine größere Menge eines Grundöls mit Schmierviskosität;(b) 0,5 bis 20 Gew.% metallhaltiges Detergens;(c) 0,1 bis 3 Gew.% Zinkdithiophosphat;(d) 0,5 bis 15 Gew.% boriertes aschefreies Dispersionsmittel und(e) 0,01 bis 3 Gew.% Antiverschleißmittel enthaltend(i) eine aliphatische Amidverbindung und(ii) einen Ester, abgeleitet von einer Fettsäure und Borsäure.
- Phosphorarme Schmierölzusammensetzung nach Anspruch 1, wobei das Zinkdithiophosphat vom Sekundäralkyl-Typ ist.
- Phosphorarme Schmierölzusammensetzung nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, wobei das Dispersionsmittel 0,1 bis 5 Gew.% Bor enthält.
- Phosphorarme Schmierölzusammensetzung nach Anspruch 3, wobei das Dispersionsmittel 0,2 bis 2 Gew.% Bor enthält.
- Phosphorarme Schmierölzusammensetzung nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, wobei das Dispersionsmittel ein Succinimid-Derivat ist, das 0,1 bis 5 Gew.% Bohr enthält.
- Phosphorarme Schmierölzusammensetzung nach Anspruch 5, wobei das Dispersionsmittel ein Succinimid-Derivat ist, das 0,2 bis 2 Gew.% Bor enthält.
- Phosphorarme Schmierölzusammensetzung nach irgendeinem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei die aliphatische Amidverbindung eine Amidverbindung einer Fettsäure ist.
- Phosphorarme Schmierölzusammensetzung nach Anspruch 7, wobei die Amidverbindung der Fettsäure eine Amidverbindung einer Fettsäure ist, die 8 bis 24 Kohlenstoffatome enthält.
- Phosphorarme Schmierölzusammensetzung nach Anspruch 8, wobei die Amidverbindung der Fettsäure eine Amidverbindung einer Fettsäure ist, die 12 bis 20 Kohlenstoffatome enthält.
- Phosphorarme Schmierölzusammensetzung nach Anspruch 9, wobei die Fettsäure der Amidverbindung ungesättigt ist.
- Phosphorarme Schmierölzusammensetzung nach irgendeinem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, wobei die aliphatische Amidverbindung ein Ölsäureamid oder ein Ölsäureamidsulfid ist.
- Phosphorarme Schmierölzusammensetzung nach irgendeinem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei die phosphorarme Schmierölzusammensetzung 0,05 bis 2 Gew.% Antiverschleißmittel enthält.
- Phosphorarme Schmierölzusammensetzung nach irgendeinem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei der Ester abgeleitet ist von Glycerol, Borsäure oder einer Fettsäure, die 8 bis 24 Kohlenstoffatome enthält, wobei der Ester ausgewählt ist aus der Gruppe: worin ist:X, Y und Z gleich oder ungleich und jeweils eine Gruppe aus der Gruppe: Hydroxylgruppe und Alkycarboxylgruppe.
- Additivkonzentrat, umfassend:(a) 100 Gewichtsteile metallhaltiges Detergens,(b) 10 bis 700 Gewichtsteile boriertes aschefreies Dispersionsmittel und(c) 1 bis 200 Gewichtsteile Antiverschleißmittel, umfassend(i) eine aliphatische Amidverbindung und(ii) einen Ester, abgeleitet von einer Fettsäure und Borsäure, und(d) Zinkdithiophosphat.
- Additivkonzentrat nach Anspruch 14, wobei das Dispersionsmittel 0,1 bis 5 Gew.% Bor enthält.
- Additivkonzentrat nach Anspruch 15, wobei das Dispersionsmittel 0,2 bis 2 Gew.% Bor enthält.
- Additiv nach Anspruch 14, wobei das Dispersionsmittel ein Succinimid-Derivat ist, das 0,1 bis 5 Gew.% Bor enthält.
- Additivkonzentrat nach Anspruch 14, 15, 16 und 17 wobei die aliphatische Amidverbindung eine Amidverbindung einer Fettsäure ist.
- Additivkonzentrat nach Anspruch 18, wobei die Amidverbindung der Fettsäure eine Amidverbindung einer Fettsäure ist, die 8 bis 24 Kohlenstoffatome enthält.
- Additivkonzentrat nach Anspruch 19, wobei die Amidverbindung der Fettsäure eine Amidverbindung einer Fettsäure ist, die 12 bis 20 Kohlenstoffatome enthält.
- Additivkonzentrat nach Anspruch 18, 19 oder 20, wobei die Fettsäure der Amidverbindung ungesättigt ist.
- Additivkonzentrat nach irgendeinem der Ansprüche 14, 15, 16 oder 17, wobei die aliphatische Amidverbindung ein Ölsäureamid ist oder ein Ölsäureamidsulfid ist.
